"She is cheating on you."

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, Deeks."

"You don't know what you are talking about."

"Well, don't believe me if that's more convenient for you."

"You are just jealous, Kensi."

"I'm not. I mean, I am. I don't wanna share you. Especially with her. But I know for sure that she is seeing that doctor."

"What doctor?"

"What's his name? Mark?"

"You are ridiculous. You've just heard your mother's story and now you are assuming things."

"I don't trust her."

"Look, Kens. No offense, but Natasha was there when you weren't. When I needed you the most."

"Maybe you were doing just fine back then."

"Why didn't you come earlier?"

"You chose that. You were the one to decide that I have to come back now."

"I wish you never left," he said and parked the car near an almost isolated beach.

"What are we doing here? I thought we were going home."

"I think we should relax a little. Before going back, you know."

"Here?"

"Yeah, is that a problem?"

"There is no one here."

"Is that a problem?"

"No"

"There is a little girl over there."

"Yeah, I know."

"I think I know her."

"From where do you know a two year old girl?"

"How do you know she is two years old?"

"I don't. I assume."

"Just like you assumed that Natasha is cheating on me?"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means that you are delusional."

"You know what? Fine. Don't come to me when you realize I was right," she said and left him there.

"Kens, wait. Don't leave me again."

"Come on, Emily. We are leaving. For good this time," she grabbed the little girl's hand and walked away.

"Who's that?"

"Don't talk to me. Can you?"

"Kensi, wait."

"Leave me alone."

"I've seen that girl before. Who is she?"

"Why do you care?" she yelled. "Go to your wife. I am the delusional, right?"

"I am sorry."

"That's how it is going to be now? You are going to say that you are sorry every time I am trying to go?"

"I am really sorry."

"You don't know any other phrase?"

"What about the girl?"

"What about her?"

"She is beautiful."

"Yeah she is."

"Come on, Kens. I am truly sorry."

"Are you?"

"I am. Hey, sweetheart," he approached the girl that was now playing with the sand. "I am Marty."

"She doesn't talk to strangers."

"Am I a stranger?"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"She is mine, isn't she?"

"Maybe"

"Maybe?"

"Remember the night before the surgery? The night that I came to tell you that we found a donor?"

"How could I forget?"

"We…"

"Yeah I remember."

"I got pregnant."

"I am sorry. I am sorry I wasn't there, Kens. I didn't want to believe that it was the end. I couldn't come," he said and held her tight in his arms.

"It's ok. We are both good now."

"Can I talk to her? Can she hear me?"

"She is a little angel now. Like all the unborn children. She can hear you. But she is not allowed to talk to you, Deeks."

"I've seen her before."

"She is protecting you. Keeping an eye on you. Can't stay to a single place for too long."

"She looks like a great girl."

"She is growing to be just like you."

"Why are you telling me these things?"

"I am your imagination, remember? You can make whatever story you want with it."

"You are telling me that this is what I want to believe?"

"Whatever," she said and walked back to the car.

It was later that night when he was semi-sleeping holding Kensi in his arms that he heard Natasha returning home. He slipped out of bed to find her petting Monty.

"Where have you been?"

"I was at work."

"You had the afternoon shift. Don't you think it's a bit late?"

"I covered Jenny. She asked me to do her shift."

"Really?"

"Yeah"

"I am going."

"It's past midnight. Where are you going?"

"I have the night shift at work."

"Marty, are you trying to tell me something?"

"Actually, yeah. I am trying to tell you that not for a second did I believe that you were at the hospital tonight. Now I am leaving. I have jobs to do."

"Marty…"

"Hold it, Natasha. I have things to say, too. Just not now," he said and left her there standing speechless.

"Marty, what are you doing here?"

"I am sorry for bothering you this late at night Ms Feldman, but I had to come alone."

"I don't understand," she said.

"I need to tell you something."

"Come in," she opened the door wider and let him in. "What's wrong?" she asked and he just responded by taking off his t-shirt. "You mean…You are…"

"Yes Ms Feldman. I was the donor. And let me tell you that I didn't ask for money."

"How?"

"I loved her. I still do. And I promise you, I'll find out what happened. I'll find out why Kensi died on that surgery table. Because I am sure something else is behind this story that we don't know it. And I will not let it like this, this time," he said tears running from his eyes.

Hope you like it. Leave a review and let me know what you think. I am actually in a rush, because I found a new job a couple of weeks ago and it takes all my time. So I am not completely satisfied with this chapter, but still…
