Bella in Early Labor at 8 months

Edward's Pov

"Get them out of me!" Bella screamed into my ear as I tried to calm her down

"Don't worry Bella you're almost there" I told her but she would squeeze my hand every time a contraction hit.

"Easy on the hand love I only get one for each hand you know" I teased and she could hear the smirk in my voice, she just gave me a death glare.

"Not the time Edward" she clenched through her teeth, and squeezed my hand a little harder "can we get a nurse in here!" I shouted down the hall, in a minute a doctor came in and checked Bella.

"Almost there just an hour or two more" she assured mostly me than Bella, I had heard my father talking to her while I was waiting for Bella to calm down.

I nodded and she then took it as to leave, Bella let out a huff. I soothed out her hair, "almost there Bella" I told her, "what if I can't do this? What if they don't like me? What if they hate me when they grow up?" she asked me her voice cracked and I knew in a matter of seconds she would start crying.

I quickly hugged her into a tight hug and kissed her hair and cheek, "they are going to love you Bella. In fact they will love you so much that they won't even let me get near you" she laughed at my last comment and it warmed my heart.

"Ahh" she hissed and grabbed her stomach in pain, after a few moments it past, "see they want to see you already" I whispered into her ear and she just smiled.

3 hours later

I held my newborn son in my arms and I cried, "hey buddy" he was asleep but the doctor told us that even though they were born a month early there healthy and strong.

"So is that EJ then" I turned towards the door and saw my parents along with my brothers there, I sat down next to Bella who was holding my other son in her hands, "this is Anthony Mason and that EJ" Bella told them.

My mother walked over towards us and cooed her grandson, "Do you want to hold him?" Bella asked my mother, my mother nodded and had tears in her eyes.

"Hold you grandson will you pops?" I teased my own father, I walked over him and handed him EJ, "you have to tell her Edward. One of these boys will grow up to be the next leader"

I sighed, "May I not worry about that right now, I just want to enjoy the birth of my sons" I said through my teeth. My father nodded, "I will tell her soon" I whispered, "Black knows about them Edward, he may come for them"

I saw red, "they lay a finger on them and they die, I promise" I said mostly to my son than to my father, "what are you two talking over there?" Bella's voice brought us back to where they were.

Father handed EJ over to Emmett while Jasper held Anthony, "when are you going to bring them home?" Emmett asked us, "in a day or two" I answered, Bella then yawned, "get some rest honey" Esme told her and she took one last looked at her children before closing her eyes and slept.

A few hours later after my family left a nurse came in and we had to wake Bella up so that she can feed EJ and Anthony.

"this isn't as bad as I thought" Bella told me, "just wait until they start teething and biting in a couple of months" the nurse told Bella smiling, "it doesn't hurt to much but if it does you might want to start bottle feeding okay" Bella nodded but still had a worried expression on her face.

"the doctor has also informed me that you may be discharged sometime tomorrow…I'll leave you two alone now" and left, "in less than a day we can take them home Bella" I said smiling.

Bella just smiled at me and leaning into me as she fed Anthony while EJ was getting a little fussy in my arms, 'don't worry buddy you're next on the feeding list" I whispered to him, he seemed to stop squirming a bit.

After about 10 minutes we switched babies and I had to burp Anthony while Bella fed EJ, 'what's on your mind?" I asked Bella to take away some of the silence, she looked up to me in surprise, "just knowing that now where parents…in high school" I knew she was lying to me but I let it pass…this time.
