"Caroline put the dagger down…" He said with a bit more annoyance.

Caroline smiled. "Sure as soon as you tell me what your doing with Marcellus…?"

Chapter 15

Klaus lowered the dagger from his throat. "Caroline…as much fun as this is…"

Caroline flashed towards him grabbing his dark gray Henley slamming him into the nearby cypress her dagger piercing his heart. "I am going to ask you again what are you doing with Marcellus…?"

Klaus growled. His eyes transformed from a bright blue to a golden yellow. He pushed Caroline back knocking her into the trunk of a nearby tree. He growled at her defiance his fangs aching to make her submit.

Caroline got up shaking off the pieces of branches and leaves off her hair. She felt a few drops of blood fall down her bottom lip. She lifted her hand to wipe it off her cheek. She frowned. " Bastard…"
She flashed towards Klaus and tackled him to the ground. She straddled his hips holding the dagger to his throat.

Klaus smirked. The warmth of her body on top of him eased all the tension he felt. The dagger in his neck brought him back from his fog, however.

Caroline stuck the dagger into his flesh making a few drops of his blood fall down his dark Henley. "What are you doing here? Were you planning on meeting Marcel?"

Klaus gave her an emotionless grin. "I could ask you the same thing Caroline…"

Caroline pressed the dagger deeper into his flesh. "I ask the questions…what are you doing here?"

Klaus remained silent. He kept his stare cold and distant. She was holding something back and until he found out what it was he was not giving her anything not even an inch no matter how much she begged. Klaus held his smirk a bit longer. Caroline begging him for mercy was something he would love to see.

Caroline raised an eyebrow. She didn't have to read his mind to see what he was thinking. She shook her head. "You aren't even worth it anymore…" She got up in annoyance. He flashed to her in a moment. "Don't walk away from me…Caroline…" He growled.

Caroline's eyes opened wide. "What? Why shouldn't I? Why should I…so I can stay here and listen to your insults…" She shook her head.

Klaus blinked his eyes for a second. He saw her demeanor change. She was hurt, lost, no worse she was disappointed. "Love…I…"

Caroline rolled her eyes. "Save it…Mikaelson." She turned her head and wiped a tear that started to fall down her cheek. She couldn't look at him when every fiber of her being wanted to hate him but she couldn't. She started to walk away but was stopped. She closed her eyes his hands sent a surge of energy throughout her body.

Klaus saw her close her eyes. It pained him to think she was in pain especially of his doing. What could he do? What could he say? "I'm so sorry love...I am so sorry…please…"

Caroline opened her eyes and bit her bottom lip. She pulled her arm away from his grip. She turned around and slapped him square in the face. "I hate you…" She saw the look of shock on his face and it infuriated her. She needed to hate him. She needed to. She pushed him in the chest with all her might. He stumbled back a few steps. He flashed in front of her again. His dominant nature was itching to release but he knew he could not. She needed to take out all of her anger. She had to if she was ever going to forgive him.

"I'm so sorry love…" He said softly.

She pushed him again. He held his ground. This made her even madder. She flashed towards him punching him in the jaw. She wanted to wipe that stupid look off of his face. His eyes remained on hers. His blue eyes turning a dark amber. He growled at her. Tears were falling down slowly down her salty cheek. She raised her arms to hit him again. He saw her raise her arm. His instincts started to kick in. He stopped her before she hit his already bloody jaw. She tried to get free. He wrapped his other hand around her pulling her into a tight embrace. She yelled. "Let me go…let me go…" His grip tightened around her. She struggled to get free she closed her eyes. It was useless. She could not. She felt the tears flood out of her eyes. She started to sob. Klaus held her until she could not cry any longer.

Caroline's crying became calmer. She closed her eyes. She loosened her fists and wrapped her hands around him. He sighed with relief. She laid her head on his shoulders and held him. She missed him so much. It was killing her inside. He smiled as he placed his head next to her soft curls. He felt his body relax underneath him. He felt like he was home.

"Klaus…"

Caroline opened her eyes. "Stefan…" She took a step back and smiled.

"Caroline…Klaus …what's going on?" Stefan said as he looked from Klaus to Caroline.

"Impeccable timing, mate." Klaus said annoyed.

"What's going on?" Stefan repeated.

Caroline smiled. "Nothing….um…I was following Marcel and I…" She looked at Klaus and rolled her eyes. "I…ran into Klaus…" She looked at him nod. She knew he wasn't buying it but she tried anyway. "What are you doing here?"

"Well Klaus and I were supposed to be looking for Elijah…but…"

Caroline looked at Klaus." You were…?"

"Yes love…we separated to cover more ground. "

Caroline nodded. "That's right. Rebekah called me about Elijah…it had to have been Marcel…" She crossed her arms over her chest.

Klaus eyed the blond closely she smiled a little too much when the Rippah appeared. Her breathing hitched up a bit higher when he mentioned Marcel's name. Klaus watched as she crossed her arms over her chest. The contact lifted her breast exposing a little more of her alabaster skin that crept out from her low cut top. He suppressed a groan. He knew how soft they were. He knew that when he gave her taunt nipples a tiniest little bite she purred like a banshee. He licked his lips in anticipation. He saw her give him an annoyed look. It made him grin more. He heard Stefan clear his throat. Klaus shook his head interrupting his wayward thoughts and asked Stefan, "What did you find out mate?"

Stefan suppressed a grin. He saw Caroline's cheeks deepen as the blood flooded her face. "While you were…what was it you were doing…?"

Klaus growled. "Nothing unfortunately…"

Caroline rolled her eyes.

Stefan smiled. "Well…seems Diego was the last person to see him before he was abducted. "

"Where was Marcel?" Caroline said interjecting.

"Care…Marcel took him but he had help…"

Caroline rolled her eyes. "Of course he did…"

Stefan flashed towards Caroline. He placed his right hand on her shoulders. "Care…"

"What…is it?" Caroline said as she raised an eyebrow.

Klaus narrowed his eyes. What was going on?

"Care…Davina helped Marcel…she put some kind of curse on Elijah…"

"What?" Caroline asked in an inaudible whisper. No. She shook her head. No. "No…she wouldn't do that…"

"Care she's helping Marcel…"

"No…how can you be sure?"

"I was in Gloria's when he was taken."

Caroline frowned. "What do you mean?"

Stefan bit his lip. " I was tailing Diego. Davina started chanting and he was paralyzed. He couldn't move. Marcel used that as an advantage and snapped his neck. He was carried away…"

Klaus was enraged. "What…you let Elijah get dragged away…" He said as he flashed in front of Stefan lifting him off of the ground by his neck.

Caroline rolled her eyes. "Klaus…put him down. " She walked forward facing Klaus.

"Give me a reason why I shouldn't kill you where you stand?" Klaus bellowed ignoring Caroline completely.

"Klaus…you know I couldn't of intervened I was supposed to be out of sight…" Stefan said coughing each word out.

Klaus growled in annoyance. He loosened his grip around Stefan's neck releasing him from his death grip. Stefan stepped aside and stood next to Caroline. "Is there any place that you know of that Marcel could of taken Elijah?"

Caroline started to pace. If Davina was helping Marcel where would she be hiding? Where could she possibly be? "The attic…" Caroline said as she started snapping her fingers.

"The attic, love?" Klaus asked.

"Stefan after Elijah was taken did Davina leave with them…?"

Stefan looked at Caroline's pleading eyes. "Yes…Davina left with them. "

"They have to be in the attic of St. Ann's…" Caroline looked at the desperation on Klaus face.

Klaus started to pace back and forth. He needed to come up with a plan. He would find his brother and all those that dared to defy him again would suffer dearly. He promised Elijah he would avenge him. The French quarter would be covered with blood.

"Klaus please do not do anything rash."

Klaus grinned. " You wound me deeply sweetheart…"

Caroline rolled her eyes. " I'm serious. Davina is very powerful…"

Klaus snickered. "Caroline I am the original hybrid…she is just a witch…"

Stefan shook his head. "I don't know Klaus…I saw her in action she is pretty powerful…she subdued Elijah without breaking a sweat. I thought Bonnie was powerful…"

Klaus put his hands behind his back. "Then what pray tell shall we do?"

Stefan remained quiet. He looked at Caroline.

"Well?" Klaus insisted.

Caroline pulled out her phone and texted Sophie. "We get a little help…."

Sophie Marcel has Elijah he's with Davina at St. Ann's. We may need to push up the ritual. –C

"Help, what are you talking about Care?" Stefan asked looking into Caroline's face.

Caroline smiled as she looked at her phone.

Okay when and where?-S

Mikaelson plantation in an hour.-C

Okay.-S

Caroline looked up. "I'll explain later meet me in the plantation in about an hour. Stefan…make sure you and Rebekah are there…"

Klaus remained silent he wasn't too convinced. "Caroline…"

Caroline took a deep breath. She put her finger on her ear and opened her eyes a bit wider. She took her phone out and sent Stefan and Klaus a quick text.

We are getting the original family back together-C

Stefan nodded and flashed away.

Klaus remained. He checked his phone and saw the text message. He was shocked initially but then happiness warmed him. He looked up searching Caroline's eyes for the truth. He lost his brother once he could not lose him again especially to false hope. "Love…is it true…?" He said as he flashed towards her grabbing her arm pulling her close to him. She held her breath. His skin was setting hers on fire. She let out a small sigh. "Yes…" She whispered.

Klaus bit his lip. "Swear it…is true…"

Caroline's eyes saw him bite his bottom lip and she ached to taste it. She opened her mouth and closed it again. She saw the vulnerability in his eyes. It crushed her to know he didn't trust her. She knew he was hurt many times before. Especially by those who professed to love him, but she hoped he would not see her that way. She licked her lips. "Yes, Niklaus Mikaelson I swear on Davina' s life I will…"

Klaus searched her eyes again for betrayal he could not find it. "Okay…" He let her go slowly. She started to walk away and turned back. "Are you coming…?" she asked playfully.

Klaus laughed. "Of course sweetheart…" She smiled and led them out of the swamp. She walked through the wooded area. "Caroline…you know I didn't mean those things I said before…"

Caroline stopped walking and turned to him. "I know Klaus…it still doesn't make it hurt less…"

Shame flooded his senses. He wanted to reach out to her kiss away the pain but was afraid she would shrink from his touch.

Caroline continued to walk deeper into the woods.

"Caroline…I know I haven't been in New Orleans for awhile but I don't think we are going the right way."

Caroline rolled her eyes. She flashed towards a large pile of leaves and tossed them aside. She dusted off the remaining leaves off of her bike.

Klaus raise an eyebrow. "Nice bike…" He said impressed.

Caroline smirked proudly. "It takes me from A to B…" She took out her keys and started the engine. It purred loudly. She looked back from the bike and frowned. "Are you coming..?"

Klaus eyed the motorcycle for second.

Caroline laughed. " Don't tell me your scared. "

Klaus snorted.

Caroline tossed him the extra helmet. He caught it expertly and got on the bike. She grabbed his arms and wrapped them around her waist. "Just hold on to me…" She said softly. Klaus put on the helmet and grinned brightly. "As you wish, love…"

Caroline put on her helmet and bit her lip. This was going to be a long ride. She pressed the accelerator and dashed out heading out of the bayou. Caroline rode out desperately trying not to think about how Klaus' hands felt around her.

Klaus sat up as close to Caroline as painfully possible. Her warm body on his made it almost impossible to breath. His fingers made small circles around the hem of her leather jacket. Klaus smirked his hybrid senses smelling the affect he had on her. Her arousal intoxicated his senses. His fingertips found their way underneath her jacket. He almost groaned as his fingers touched her bare skin.

Caroline sighed. "Klaus…" She whispered.

"Yes sweetheart…" Klaus said wickedly.

"If you keep that up we gonna crash…." She said in a whisper only a vampire can hear.

Klaus grinned. " As you wish, love…" He stopped his wandering hands and placed his hands around her hips.

She rolled her eyes. Damn hybrid. She loved and hated the arrogant way he teased her.

Caroline rode through the bayou encased with Klaus behind her. He gave her hips a soft squeeze the temptation was too great. Caroline grunted softly trying to focus on the road. His soft touch was making it hard on her. She shook her head. It annoyed her how he could unnerve her with just a simple touch. It was a weakness she could not deny. There was no point. He will always be a part of her. She saw the fork in the road and pulled in. She rode on and turned off the head lights of the bike. She parked the bike next to a tree and turned off the engine.

Klaus frowned slightly. He took off his helmet and looked around. "Where are we, love?"

She killed the engine and smirked. "I need to get a few things...I'll be right back." She tried to get up but she was still trapped in his arms. She raised an eyebrow. "Klaus..."

He shrugged his shoulders. He loosened his grip and followed her. They walked down a few feet until they reached an abandoned cabin. He tried to walk through the door but was blocked a barrier spell. Damn witches. "Love..."

Caroline walked in the threshold and let out her held breath. Everything was as it should be. She turned back and saw an annoyed hybrid behind her. " Oh sorry..." She said snickering. She walked through the threshold and stopped inches away from a pair of deep blue eyes. She grabbed his index finger giving it a quick squeeze. She elongated her fangs and bit into the soft mound on his index finger. He hissed for a seconds' flickers of gold highlighted his iris.

"What are you doing? " Klaus said in a low growl.

Caroline smirked at his mistrust. " You want to come in don't you..."

Klaus rolled his eyes. Of course a blood spell. He nodded and allowed her to continue.

She smiled. She held his finger tight allowing a drop of blood to fall onto her free hand. She smeared the blood on the front door tracing a thin pentagram on it. She started chanting and slowly the blood started to lighten until it became one with the door. She loosened her grip on his hands and stepped inside. "Come in Niklaus Mikaelson..."

Klaus smirked and slowly stepped into the cabin. There was a surge of energy that flew through him. He jumped slightly back. She closed the door locking it behind her. "Why all the security, love?"

Caroline walked into the living area and looking through a shelf. "I needed a place where I could keep things safe..." She said softly. She looked through the shelf shifting through papers and old books.

Klaus walked in close behind. The cabin was small. It had two rooms. A kitchen- living area with a chair, a table set, and shelves of old books and papers. The windows had wind chimes and other enchantments. He assumed for protection. He walked looked around and saw a solitary frame. It was a picture of Caroline and a little girl. Davina? Her hair was different it was an auburn color. It reminded him of Esther when they were still human. The little girls eyes were blue with flickers of gold. He frowned. "Caroline...who is this little girl? "

Caroline looked through her papers until she found a worn parchment with a satin red sash around it. "Davina.." She said off hand. Caroline opened the parchment and read through it carefully.

Klaus nodded and made a mental note to ask her about it later. He put the picture down and walked into the back room. There was a bed there with a small chest and a matching bureau. On top there was a brush, mirror, and a small jewelry box. He looked inside and smiled. There was a lock of hair tied with a pink ribbon, a few rings and a long black box with a white ribbon. He opened the box and was taken back. He lifted the diamond-incrusted tennis bracelet. It was the same bracelet he gave her so many years ago in Mystic Falls. "You kept it..."

Caroline leaned in the doorframe with her arms crossed over her chest. She smiled softly. "Why wouldn't I?" She said as she walked towards him. She stopped and placed her left palm out. She looked at the smirk on his face rolling her eyes as he placed the precious jewelry in her hands. She placed it back in her jewelry box and closed it.

Klaus flashed behind her placing his mouth close to her left earlobe. She closed her eyes. She remembered a time when just a whisper of his voice had set her soul on fire.

"Why..." He said softly.

"Why?" She whispered. She leaned her head closer to him. The side of her cheek rubbed the stiff feel of the stubble on his face.

Klaus smiled as he turned her around to face him. "Why Caroline…?"

She opened her eyes lowering her eyes. She shook her head. "Klaus…please…don't ask me that…"

Klaus raised her chin with the tip of his middle finger. "Caroline look at me…"

Caroline licked her lower lip. "Klaus what do you want me to say…?"

Klaus leaned in close to her. He felt her breath on his lips. "Caroline…"

Caroline pushed him away. She tried to take a step back but he pulled her back into his chest. She gasped as she felt his grasped tighten on her arm. She saw the frustration in his face and swallowed the knot in her throat. "Alright…alright…just let me go…" She said as she shrugged his grip off of her. She waited until he loosened his grip before she took a step back. She turned around and placed her hand on the top of the worn jewelry box. "Klaus…I kept the bracelet to remind me of the past…a past where things were simpler…" She laughed softly.

"Simpler..?" Klaus said as he raised an eyebrow.

She turned around and walked towards the bed. She sat there and smiled. "Back then I was preoccupied with prom committees…" She looked up and saw him grin. " Trying to save my friends from other vampires lurking around…werewolves…hybrids…all of that seemed so important…until it wasn't. "

Klaus stepped forward and sat next to her on the bed. He placed his hand on her thigh. He rubbed her skin trying to sooth away the worry that resonated in her voice. " Love..?"

"Klaus, after you left Mystic Falls I wanted to get rid of the bracelet and everything that reminded me of you…I really tried…I even went to a bitter ball and shred the picture you made me after the ball…I thought that was enough…it was for awhile but when it came to getting rid of the bracelet I just couldn't do it. I held on to it to remind me off all the mistakes that I made…"

Klaus removed his hand. He felt her words sting his heart as deep as a white oak stake would. He looked at the pain in her eyes and nodded. He understood he turned his head away. He could not even look at her anymore. "I see…"

Caroline saw the hurt in his face and bit the side of her cheek. "No….Klaus…you don't understand…I needed to remind myself of all my mistakes…good and bad…" She reached over and turned his face towards hers. "Klaus we have been through so much together. In the past you showed me that there was a whole new world out there waiting for me…you opened my mind…you showed me there was more to life than just Mystic Falls…after graduation I went to school…I traveled…for awhile but there was always something missing…a part of me was missing…even in the mist of Silas…the travelers and Markos…and his plan for world wide Armageddon… a piece of me always seemed to be missing…there was a hole inside of me…after my daughter was born that piece was slowly filled…"

Klaus got up from the bed and stood in front of Caroline. He looked at the pain in Caroline's eyes he wanted to hold her kiss away the pain but he could not betray his own mind and heart.

"I wanted to give her a life where she could dream and hope…I saved that bracelet for her…"

Klaus remained silent. A part of him was disappointed that she did not speak of her feelings and a piece of him was happy it still held some importance. "Caroline…I…" Klaus closed his in irritation. He pulled out his phone and saw a text message.

Nik where the hell are you? –R

"Love…its Rebekah…" He said through clenched teeth.

Caroline wiped the stray tear away from her face. She gave him a short smile. She got up and walked out of the room. Klaus flashed out of the cabin and waited for Caroline. He rolled his eyes he was always waiting for Caroline.

Caroline waited for Klaus outside. As soon as he left she uttered a few silent words and walked towards her bike. Caroline continued riding until they reached the plantation. Caroline parked the bike in the back away from prying eyes. Caroline took off her helmet and took a deep breath.

"Ready, love…?"

Caroline nodded. He reached over and placed a stray curl behind her ear. She smiled. His touching sending shivers down her spine. He leaned in closer brushing his bottom lip over hers. She closed her eyes she didn't want this moment to end.

"Nik…what the hell took you so long?"

Caroline opened her eyes in shook. Klaus growled as he got up. He looked at Caroline's rosy face and smiled. He gave her another look before he flashed into the plantation. Caroline took a second and walked slowly towards the old Victorian house. She followed the row of torches that lead to the house. She walked into the house and had an eerie feeling about her. The house felt like it was frozen in time. She walked through the foyer the walls were filled with crystal chandeliers. The walls were filled with picture of the originals in the 1900's dress. One particular one caught her eye. It was of Klaus and Rebekah. Klaus sat on what looked like a throne. He had a black long knee length jacket with matching black pants and vest. He had a high collar with a white undershirt. Around his neck was a white tie that was pinned down with a studded pin. She looked closer. She laughed it was a lapiz azul stone. Standing behind him was Rebekah in an emerald green high neck gown. Her hair was pinned up with only a few strands coming down on its side.

"See anything you like?"

Caroline flinched slightly. She turned her head to look into his smothering eyes she opened her eyes and closed them when she heard a loud screech.

"Nik…stop flirting with the girl we have things to do…"

Caroline laughed softly. Klaus growled softly under her breath. She took a step forward and walked forward.

She saw Stefan in the background standing next to Rebekah. Rebekah was pacing back and forth with a glass on her hands. Caroline walked into the large sitting room her eyes looking at the general splendor. In the back was a large marble fireplace. On top of the fireplace was a large mantle that was filled with vases and various pieces of art. On top of the fireplace was another family portrait. In this one Rebekah was sitting down and behind her was Klaus on her left and Elijah on her right.

"Well what are we waiting for?" Rebekah asked impatiently.

All eyes turned to Caroline.

Caroline cleared her throat. "We need Sophie and Genevieve to help with the spell. "

Rebekah snickered and looked at Klaus. Klaus frowned and went to the bar to pour himself a drink.

Caroline raised an eyebrow. What just happened? Before she could ask she heard a pair of footsteps approached. Caroline turned around and saw the familiar faces of the witches. She walked towards Sophie and smiled. "Sophie…Genevieve were you followed?"

"No…" Sophie said as she turned to look at Genevieve. "Genevieve was kind enough to show us a short cut…"

Caroline looked at the red head for a second. She was staring at Klaus intently her cheeks a soft shade of pink. Caroline narrowed her eyes at the young witch. Klaus smirked proudly. Caroline rolled her eyes.

Sophie felt the tension immediately. She didn't want to be here in first place especially when Caroline finds out where Genevieve has been spending most of her nights. "Care do you have everything we need?"

Caroline smiled. "I was just about to tell them…"

"What now?" Rebekah asked impatiently.

Stefan held Rebekah's arm giving it a gently squeeze. "Bekah…"

Caroline bit the side of her cheek. "We need the blood of the at least three originals to completely the spell…"

"What…?" Rebekah crushed the glass of bourbon in her hand. She went to flash over to Caroline but was stopped by Stefan. He grabbed her by the waist. "Bekah clam down…"

Caroline flashed over to Sophie and Genevieve standing protectively in front of them.

"Sister calm down…" Klaus said annoyed.

"Nik…how can you allow these lies….I knew she was going to betray us…"

Caroline placed her hands on her hips. She shook her head. "If you let me finish…you would of known that there is another way…"

Klaus walked towards Caroline. "What? How could there be another way? Elijah is missing…?"

"Yes but if we can get the blood of another original that was buried here…" Caroline said.

Klaus groaned. "The original witch…"

"But that's impossible…she died over two hundred years ago…"

"She's right sister…she was buried in a spelled coffin…"

"Magic as powerful as that would never die…" Sophie said.

Klaus rolled his eyes. "Fine…Rippah…Bekah lets start digging…"

"Klaus…we need to do the spell on her grave…" Genevieve said seductively.

Klaus turned around slowly. "Of course we do, love…"

Caroline clenched her teeth. Why was he calling her love?

Her chest tightened underneath her. She needed to focus. She had to remember why she was doing this. Davina.

"But I thought you needed Marcel's blood?" Stefan interjected.

"We do…the spell will forge a blade made from the blood of all the originals. That blade must be used to kill Marcel. This has to be done during the dark moon. " Sophie said.

"The dark moon…why?" Stefan asked.

"That is when the moon is renewing its energy… the sacrifice must be at that moment for the spell to take affect…" Sophie said.

"Okay…" Klaus said. " Let's get on with it…" He said as his impatience started to fester.

"Klaus there's something else…" Caroline said.

"Of course there is…" Klaus said shortly.

"The blade must be wielded by Marcel's sire…" Sophie said.

Klaus smirked. He chuckled.

"What the hell is so funny Nik…?" Rebekah asked.

"There is a poetic justice about it…"

Rebekah frowned. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"I made him…I have to be the one to kill him!"

"Klaus how are you going to get close enough to kill him…he's always surrounded by minions. " Stefan said.

Caroline smirked. " The same way we would try to trick Klaus in Mystic Falls all those years…."

"Blond distraction…" Stefan said smiling.

Klaus frowned slightly thinking back to the days where Caroline was always sent to distract him. No. He wasn't going to allow Caroline to be in the middle of this. She was already risking her life. "No…absolutely not…"

Caroline frowned. "What? Why not? It'll work…it worked before…"

Sophie looked on curiously as anger captured the hybrid's face. Why was he getting so angry? What was going on? There was a dark aurora around him. She could feel his anger it gave her a cold chill down her spine.

"Don't test me…love…" Klaus growled. He walked close to her face his eyes darkening with every second that passed. He saw the anger in her face be replaced with worry.

Caroline reached over and placed her hand on his cheek. She saw through his fear and saw her face. Marcel pulled her into a tight embrace she held him tight dropping her head laughing at something amusing that Marcel had said. She stopped and placed both of hands on his face. She said softly, "I love you Marcel…" She closed her eyes and leaned in kissed him.

Caroline gasped. "Is that what you think is going to happen?"

Klaus clenched his teeth. He grabbed Caroline's hand and lowered it. He looked into her eyes. He wanted to say something but could not.

Sophie stepped forward. "Caroline…"

"Nik…what's wrong with the plan…it'll work… it always worked with you…" She said as she snorted at her brother.

Klaus flashed in front of Rebekah. He turned his head slightly. "You do well to remember your place little sister…we wouldn't want you to find yourself on the other end of my dagger…"

Stefan flashed towards the fueding Mikaelsons'. He stood next to Rebekah ready to defend her if need be.

Caroline looked on and shook her head Rebekah and Klaus will never change no matter how many millennia may pass. She walked towards Sophie and leaned over. "What's up?"

Sophie felt a hesitation she never felt before. "Caroline we don't have time for this…we have a small window of opportunity we have to act fast before Marcel finds what we are doing…" She crossed her arms over her chest. She was tired of working with these vampires. Original or not they were trouble.

Caroline nodded her head. "Yes…that's what we are trying to do Soph…" She said patiently. Caroline knew the little witch would rather die then work with vampires but she gave Caroline her word. When a witch gives his or her word its as binding as blood. "Just be a little patient…"

"Patience…look at them…they fighting among themselves…how are we suppose to trust them…Care?"

Caroline turned her head and saw Klaus flashed forward stopping inches away from the young witches face. His snarl kept Caroline on her toes.

" Be careful little witch…you lot came looking to form an alliance with me not the other way around…" Klaus said smugly.

Sophie narrowed her eyes. "I may have made that decision in haste…."

Klaus growled. His eyes transformed from their deep blue hue to a bright yellow. Caroline placed a hand on his arm and gave him a gentle squeeze. "Klaus…"

Klaus turned towards Caroline. The concerned look on her face softened his anger. He hissed. That woman was going to be the death of him.

Sophie looked on with curiosity. The almighty hybrid was being tamed by Caroline…no it could not be. That would mean he had a heart. The dark aurora around him told her that was not the case. She felt the phone in her pocket start to ring. She gave Caroline a short nod and walked into the foyer.

"Hello…"

"Soph…he's here..."

"How long?"

"He's been here for an hour…you better hurry…"

"Ok…thanks…" Sophie hung up the phone and walked back.

Sophie walked slowly into the living room. The originals were once again at each others' throats. Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Nik…why are we even trusting these witches…they obviously are hiding something…" Rebekah snared. Stefan stood next to her placing his hand on the middle of her back. He rubbed it softly up and down.

"Caroline, Marcel is in the bar we don't have much time…" Sophie said softly. Sophie walked towards Genevieve who was crossing her arms over her chest. Sophie almost laughed at the vein that was threatening to pop on her forehead.

Genevieve narrowed her eyes. "Caroline…what are we waiting for…?" She said as she raised an eyebrow. She walked towards Caroline slowly keeping her eyes on Klaus. He lowered his hand and placed them in a fist on his side.

Caroline felt a chill from the hybrid instantly. She rolled her eyes. One minute he was overly protective and caring the next he's an arrogant beast. She shook her head. She would worry about his demeanor later. She had a mission and time was slowly slipping away from her. "Sophie get the rest of the girls ready we leave now…" She said as she turned her head to look at the enraged Hybrid. Caroline released a deep breath she held inside. She knew this was going to be a long night but what other choice did she have. Caroline followed Sophie out of the corridor. Genevieve walked a few feet behind slowly eying the originals with curiosity. Rebekah and Stefan flashed past her arguing about the witch's plan. Rebekah brushed past Genevieve nearly flinging her towards the wall like an insignificant pest. Genevieve felt her legs give and started to fall. She closed her eyes knowing the thump was going to hurt. Genevieve opened her eyes. She stopped midway. Her eyes looked into a pair of dark blue eyes and a deadly smirk.

Genevieve gasped. Her heart started to pound uncontrollably. She bit her bottom lip. His eyes darken. He grinned widen as the thumping of her pulse increased with his close proximity. His fangs ached to pierce through. A witch's blood has always been a tempting delight.

Genevieve leaned in close to his full lips. She needed to feel him. She wanted to have his cold cruel mouth over hers just like he did last night. Klaus tightened his encircled arms around the witch's waist. She moaned softly. She loved the way her body reacted whenever she felt his presence. There was something about that man that drove her wild. Klaus stopped and smirked at the young witch. The beast inside yearned for her submission. He leaned in and pressed his lips past hers down to her naked neck. She purred softly. She closed her eyes. She held her breath.

Klaus grinned as he leaned in. Her pulse was racing. His eyes darken making the veins under his eyes illuminate his passion. Klaus felt his fangs pierce through his gums. His fangs grazed the top of her skin softly. Genevieve tossed her head back giving him more area to devour. Klaus smirked he placed a soft kiss on her neck. He heard her breathing paused for a moment. He grinned and plunged his fangs into her wanton flesh. He drank her in greedily needing to fill the selfish need inside of him.

"Klaus…?"
