The Problem With North American Wizards

Chapter 2

A/N: Hi guys, Here's the next chapter for you! This hasn't been looked over by my editor yet, so i hope the grammar isn't too bad. It should be grammar checked soon, but until then here's chapter two.

By the way, thank you to every one who favorited, followed, reviewed, or even just read my story. :)

Disclaimer: i don't own hetalia, wish i did though.

Edit: hi again guys, hopefully now my grammar is better, as my fantastical editor has corrected all of my horrendous mistakes.

"So, Iggy, why are we down here again?" The American asked as he glanced around the British man's basement, occasionally pausing to look at one of the many jars, or containers filled with curious things, witch were stacked on the shelves that lined the room's walls.

"First of all, Don't call me that! And secondly, you two are down here because I can't remember the bloody spell that I need to transform you both into thirteen year olds." Explained the Brit, his eyes scanning around the room, looking for a spell book that he hadn't used in a very long time.

"THIRTEEN YEAR OLDS?!" the twins exclaimed, as they stared at Arthur with wide eyes and high eyebrows.

"Of course," the Englishman said, looking at the twins, as he raised a thick eyebrow. "You two are awfully slow today, aren't you? What did you expect? To be sent off to gallivant around a school meant for children as fully grown men?"

After this 'matter o' fact' statement, while the twins were still too shocked to react, Arthur proceeded to find the book he was looking for, openned it up to the correct page, and then chanted a spell in languages that were (for the most part), no longer spoken in daily life.

"invoco super terram, solem, lunam, et stellas. i auxilium mihi in placito quod ante mutationem quae vere ad autumnum a."

"glaoch mé ar an talamh, an ghrian, an ghealach, agus na réaltaí. i Phléadáil go bhfuil cabhair siad dom i chlaochlú sin os mo ó fhómhar ar ais go dtí an earraigh!"

As England chanted the last words a bright blue light filled room, and in a matter of seconds Matthew and Alfred's vision faded to black.

"Ugh..."
Matthew groaned as he opened his eyes, the world around him fading in and out of focus.

Self inquiries of 'What happened?' flitted through his mind, before the memories of earlier that day flooded back.

Eyes widening he sat up quickly, trying to ignore how horribly his joints ached from the action.

Groggily glancing to his right, he gave a small gasp. His brother, who had also begun to wake up, looked so, ...so tiny. He watched in disbelief as his twin's now small hands clenched into fists, rubbing the sleep out of his azure blue eyes.

Suddenly Arthur's voice brought Matthew out of his stunned reverie.

"Oh, I see that you're both awake." he said, gazing at the boys calmly from his chair, that was seated beside the bed where the twins were resting.

"Dude, why do I feel like I've been hit by a rabid polar bear?" Alfred said as he rubbed his head.

The American then turned toward his Canadian sibling and, upon taking in his twin's appearance, yelped in surprise and shouted, "Holy Shit! Mattie, you're a little kid again!"

Matthew had already guessed that he had undergone an appearance change. Nonetheless, when he glanced down at himself and his suspicions were confirmed, his face morphed to match his brother's shocked expression.

At this, the edges of Arthur's mouth quirked upward slightly, and then, his voice taking on a slightly amused edge, he asked, "Have you looked at yourself recently, Alfred?'

After the Brit finished his statement, Matthew watched as Alfred confusedly looked at his former caretaker and then down at himself, his eyes growing visibly wider.

"Wh...wha...I...h..How?" he spluttered as his mouth hung agape.

Arthur smirked again, obviously enjoying the new information gap between him and his former colonies.

"Magic." he stated smugly. 'Now get up, the both of you. We, my dear soon to be Hogwarts students, are going to Diagon Alley."

Translations:

I call upon the earth the sun, the moon, and the stars, I plea that they aid me in the transformation of those before me from autumn back to spring.
