Hi guys! Sorry for the extreme delay of this chapter. But I really, really had no inspiration. Anyways, I just wanted to remind you that his story is rated T for a reason, it might get intense, so if you're younger or don't like any of it, PM me or write down a review if you want to know what happened in this chapter and I'll tell you what 'important' you missed. Good reading!

Tris' P.O.V.

"Hey, honey." I heard as soon as I pushed the apartment door open.

"Hi!" I replied enthusiastically.

I made my way to the living room where I noticed Aden comfortably laid on the couch, remote in hand, watching The Big Bang Theory. I walked towards him to place a small, light kiss on his cheek, something commonly done in the evening; my way of saluting him. I quickly moved away from him, not letting my lips linger more than 3 seconds. I turned around and directed myself to the kitchen, fast walking-ly. But, obviously, not fast enough. I felt his large hand wrap itself around my wrist and tug me. I fell on top of him, head and a part of my back on his lap, starched out weirdly on him. Then, he bent down, hands on both sides of my face, and pressed his mouth both gently and ferociously on mine. I pulled on the front of his shirt, bringing him closer than humanly possible. A minute later, we had withdrawn ourselves from each other, breathing heavily. But I kept my face close to his, enjoying our proximity.

"When are you going to stop doing that?" I asked him.

"When you tell me to." He smirked at me with that spar in the eye.

"Or when you'll stop taking pleasure in it. And your previous reaction didn't exactly show that, now did it?" Aden softly whispered in my ear as his lips travelled downwards to my neck.

"Okay, okay. I admit it, I do love it, but now, stop being such a tease, I have things to do." I told him, trying without any result to wiggle out of his grasp.

"Like what?" He questioned me, not moving his mouth away from my skin.

"Hum, I don't know..." I trailed off, as if I actually had no clue.

"Supper perhaps? It's not going to cook itself." I suggested in a slightly ironic tone.

"Now, would you let go of me?" I said when he did not reply to me.

My fiancé reluctantly removed his arms and lifted them up, showing me his submission. I got up and smiled at him with triumph; I had won this 'battle'.

"And, actually, supper did cook itself."

I looked at him as if he had lost his mind. Then, he stood up and placed a hand on my lower back, leading me to the dining room.

On the table, Aden had carefully displayed a home-made lasagna dish which was accompanied with a bottle of wine. A little further on the table, secluded from the rest of the supper, he had placed a chocolate cake made from my favorite french pastry, Le Goût du Paradis; our dessert.

"So, what's the special occasion?" I asked him.

"Can't I spoil my girlfriend - oh no, wait - my fiancé once in a while?" He grinned at me with a toothy smile.

He and I both knew that he didn't actually forget that we were now engaged; he was just simply making a point, and also, mainly, repeating it constantly.

I went over to the kitchen to get the plates and wine glasses out of the cabinets as I felt Aden's long arms snatch their way around my waist. Afterwards, he laid his chin on my shoulder, placing a feather light kiss on my neck.

"You know, babe, that if you continue on like so, the amazing food you have prepared for us will not be eaten anytime soon, right?" I informed him, my heartbeats getting quicker and louder in my chest.

"Oh, I know!" He murmured softly in my ear, his breaths tickling me.

Suddenly, he put his hands on my hips, spinning me around so that I would be facing him.

"But it would be such a shame to waste a wonderfully looking lasagna." I tried to deter him with what he had in mind.

But Aden was clearly not listening to me; I took the matter in hand. I slightly pushed him back, enough for us to look in each other's eyes.

"After, okay? I want to eat first." I told.

He watched me for a few seconds before he replied.

"As you wish, my lady." He bowed, while winking, in front of me which lead for me to laugh.

"So, how was your day at work?" Aden asked as we were seated on the couch, a big blanket draped over us.

"Same old." I simply responded.

It was true; I painted and I drew, I wrote down a couple of ideas for any other new projects, that was what I did.

"How about you?" I said, giving him my full attention.

That was that I liked in this relationship; we gave the other our complete attentiveness while he/she talked whether we were mad, sad or happy; our mood didn't matter. And I guess that was what was missing in mine and Tobias's relationship; we failed to construct the key that could have maintained our love.

Then, I heard my fiancé reply to me, chasing my thoughts - thoughts of him - away from my mind momentarily.

"Hum, about that..."

"What is it?" I questioned carefully and cautiously.

"Well, you know that we have had a new boss a little less than 3 months ago, right?"

I slowly nodded, not knowing where this question was leading to.

"He's been wanting to get to know us better, outside of work of course. So, he was planning on having a barbecue party for quite some while and he decided on doing it this Saturday." Aden informed me.

I let out inaudible breath that I did not notice I was holding in.

"Then, if that's what you are asking for, I give you permission to go. We didn't have anything planned for that day, from what I know at least." I said.

"And also, since when do you ask me if you can go chill out with your work buddies?" I asked immediately afterwards.

"Okay, first of all, I was not telling you about the 'gathering' so you'd allow me to go." He mentioned.

"And, second of all, 'work buddies'?" He repeated, throwing a big smirk at me.

"Firstly," I mimicked the gesture he had done with his 'first of all', "then why did you inform me about it. Secondly, work buddies is a more... enthusiastic way to say colleague, which sounds like a dull word to me."

"I'm sure it is." He said in a somewhat sarcastic tone.

I lightly shoved in on the shoulder, making him laugh at my reaction.

"Okay, let's get back to the point, if you don't mind of course." Aden added on.

I shook my head from up to down.

"My boss also said to bring one or two friends to make party more entertaining." He explained, clearing my doubts.

I knew where he was getting at and I really didn't want to be part of what he had in mind.

"No, no, no." I told him.

"Come on! If you go, it would make the day brighter and happier." He tried to reason with me.

I shot him a glare, not completely believing his words.

"Okay, okay! You make my day brighter and happier." He corrected himself properly.

"That's more like it!" I grinned.

"But still, you need to give me one good reason for me to come." I replied.

"Because it will be the perfect opportunity to reveal to everyone that you are my fiancé." He yelled out his last word.

I punched him again, but on the chest this time.

"Shush! Our neighbors are sleeping. And they already know anyway." I quietly hushed him off.

The day I had accepted his demand for marriage, he had wandered through our building hallways, literally yelling the news.

"Yeah, yeah!" He said somewhat ironically. "Now, don't change the subject."

I sighed, letting my head fall on the top of the sofa.

"Please!" Aden begged.

"But-" I started out.

"Look, it's just one evening out. And I'll even stay by your side the whole night." He offered.

I stayed silent for a few minutes, looking into nothing in particular, reflecting on the pros and cons of his suggestion.

"Ok, fine! You win; I'll come." I told him, having the slight feeling that it was not my best decision I had ever made.

"Great!" He leaned in to press his lips softly to mine.

I responded quickly to his kiss, pushing him with my palms as it got more serious so he'd have his back on the couch.

"Maybe we should take this to the bedroom, what do you think?" I asked him.

"I think it's a wonderful idea."

Yes, I know; it's a short chapter, but, like I said earlier, I had no inspiration. And I also know that of Aden and Tris moments in this chapter and I am pretty sure you're not very happy and you want FourTris Back. Well, if those are your thoughts, this is what I tell you: If you trust me, even though you don't know me, if you believe in true love and in FourTris, you have nothing to worry about :) Thanks to FandomFreak1, Guest May29, mockingjay35, Guest, sushi8162, Guest, Divergent1315, cc1208, Amazing Person, Guest, Gjest, booksforbreakfast, LoveIsOneCrazyWord, Lucy, 123, jabc4 and dauntlexx for reviewing.
