Part 6
Cody woke up coughing and gasping, his fingers clawed at his neck. His fingernails hit the black band and caught. He tried to sit up but was twisted in his leash. He started to cry as Zack's fingers began to carefully untangle him.
"Shh we're ok. God Cody, please don't cry," Zack whispered into his skin as he untangled his twin.
Cody tried but, "he has us leashed like pets and I wanna go home."
"I know. Me too." Zack sniffled but held it in, "we have to get through this ok?" He looked around the room, thankful to see it empty and dark except for a small light on the desk.
Now that he was able, Cody sat up and tried to calm himself. Zack huddled next to him. Cody pulled up his knees and leaned his shoulder against Zack's as he brushed his face clear. "He's gonna want more Zack, kisses aren't going to satisfy him."
Zack wiped his face. "Yeah but what do we do? Cody, he'll cut us up. Fuck he'll separate us."
"That is NEVER going to happen." Cody enfolded Zack in his arms, rocking them. "We give him what he wants. I just don't know what it's going to do too us."
Zack swallowed thickly at the thought but, "We could take the pills."
Cody pulled back, "What? No, we don't know what that stuff really is."
Zack scrubbed his face with the palm of his hands, frustrated and terrified. "Tell me what to do here Codes cause I don't know."
Cody curled back into Zack, "He's making us. It's not our choice. We just have to lay the blame on him and just get through this."
Zack scowled and shook his head. "And it's that easy. I don't think so. This is going to mess us up. We won't be able to ignore it and don't pretend we will. I don't want that from you."
"Then what do you want?"
"The truth."
"Okay then, yeah, god Zack, yes this is going to mess us up, with the world okay, but not each other! If we can just, I don't know, make this okay for right now then this right now will always be okay for us. I'm not going to lose the most important person in my life to someone else's sick head games. I'm so scared Zack and the only thing that stops me from screaming until he shoots me is you."
Zack hugged him tightly. "Don't ever leave me. We can make this okay, I can do that."
As Cody sat there wrapped up in Zack, feeling Zack's heartbeat in time with his own, breathing in Zack's scent, letting the Zackness calm him. He knew Zack was doing the same thing. They hadn't done this since their parent's divorce. The last time something had really hurt them. It was weird that they had gone back to this so easily and completely. They were falling into each other. They'd done it after their parent's divorce. For months nothing existed outside of Zack and as long as Zack was okay he was too. Perhaps this time it was okay and they didn't need to snap out of it. They could do this, maybe it would protect them, and when they came out of it, they could leave this behind with it. Maybe this way they could be ok. "Zack remember?"
Zack knew where Cody was going as soon as he realized he'd been trying to calm himself down by using Cody. "Yeah."
"Can we?"
"Yeah Codes, we can do that." Zack figured it was probably their best bet to getting though this and maybe they'd be able to pull themselves together afterwards.
If there was an afterwards.

Blythe glanced between her screens. This guy was good, more than good, he was scary. "Come in," she wasn't surprised at all to see Harris at the door, though he was supposed to be resting. She waved him in. "Just got a new batch." She tested the upload for anything she could find and spoke over her shoulder as the program ran. "I haven't even opened it yet. Your luggage vendor has to buy the package I just did or your perps going to know something's up. This guy is smart enough to recognize someone as obsessed as Kredi would mortgage his house to buy as much as he could."
Harris lifted his hand and realized it held coffee and took a deep drink, the burn not putting him off. "Yeah, Benson mentioned it. He's willing to work with us. Between you and him, we're hoping to stay in this and win it. Can we?" He gestured towards the screens.
Blythe nodded as she glanced over her results, nothing. She'd been hopeful the guy had made a mistake though there was nothing, yet. She opened the new file.
Harris checked the date stamp first, that day, so they were still alive. He looked over the first picture. "Looks like the Martin twins are now light blonds." They'd keep that one to themselves, something the common people wouldn't know.
"Poor kids, they look so scared." Blythe grimaced with disgust. She paused on the last picture, the way they were hiding into each other made her heart ache.
Harris tried not to allow the pictures to get to him. "At least I'll be able to tell their parents that we know they're alive and in good condition."

Kurt paused in the hallway. It was the middle of night and Carey was still sitting in the doorway of the boy's room. She'd been there for hours. He wasn't sure what to do, wasn't sure if anything he said would be welcome. He scrubbed his face. He was exhausted and so fucking angry. He just wanted Zack and Cody back.
He wanted Carey to get her shit together until they had them back. He was furious at himself because he really couldn't blame her for falling apart.
Carey had her head in the sand. She listened to Moseby and the cops who told her the boys were fine. Maybe she needed to think the boys were just sitting somewhere safely waiting to be saved.
He knew better. No one took pretty little boys to hold them safely. Some motherfucker was putting his dirty hands on his sweet kids. God Carey had those boys so sheltered they probably had no clue what the guy wanted with them. "You sheltered them too much."
She stiffened; likely she hadn't even noticed he was there, "Obviously not enough."
He scoffed. "If you had let me teach them about life, they'd known better to get close to some pervert."
She turned towards him, her face already bitter. "About life? Bullshit. You wanted to introduce them to the stoners and strippers you hang out with. You wanted to show them life was dirty."
Kurt scowled and threw his hands out in frustration. "It is dirty and gritty and in life some sick fucks like to take and rape little boys. You wouldn't even let me get them some fighting lessons, so they could fight, they're so little for their age, fuck Carey," he turned and punched the wall as Carey began to cry.
"Shut up, shut up, you don't know what you're talking about, you ass." She stood, tears streaming down her face as she stomped into the boy's bedroom and slammed the door.
The phone rang. Kurt shook out his hand, stretching his fingers, and took deep breaths as he walked towards it. He was nearly run over as Carey flew by him.

The next morning; in their normal schedule they'd be at school by this time, of course they were usually dressed by this point. He shifted between his feet. The room was slightly chilly with just the boxers on. Cody could see the goose bumps on Zack's skin. He wanted nothing more than to curl back beneath the blanket but Sir had made the bed while they'd been in the bathroom.
"We'll do whatever you want please," Zack tried to convince Sir they didn't need the pills and Cody appreciated it. He knew he was the reason Zack was even trying. He wrapped his arms around Zack's neck and rested his head on his shoulder. Zack returned the gesture, wrapping really warm arms around his middle. Cody figured there was really only one way he could help, he tilted his face and licked Zack's neck right above the collar.
Sir stopped talking.
Zack ran his hand over the waistband of Cody's boxers as he kissed Cody's shoulder. Zack turned towards Sir. "We can do this, without any pills, let us." The words held a double meaning, and both thought this is okay, right here, right now, this is alright.
Sir smiled. "Take the boxers off and get on the bed." They were doing better than he'd predicted.
Cody felt Zack take a deep shuttering breath and knew Zack felt his as well. They separated and did as they were told.
Sir attached the leases. "Start with kissing. Show your future owner that you like being together and I promise you no one will ever separate you for a moment." While he was holding open bidding, the twins were actually more of a custom job. The buyer he had in mind, had a deep belief that twins should always be kept together. Sir believed once the sale was set and the boys delivered they'd never be further than two feet away from each other as long as they lived. The buyer loved twins, and was very careful with his property which equaled to the twins enjoying a long life in luxury. Until then he had to shape them into the buyer's dream and gain some profit. Since the buyer was ungodly rich it wouldn't hurt to drive the price up some.
Kissing wasn't as nerve wrecking as it had been. Cody concentrated on feeling good. Zack thought maybe Cody was getting better at this.
"Lay down."
The camera still bothered them both. They did their best to ignore it as they followed directions. It was kind-a like a game of twister, put right hand there and they didn't think about it, they just did it. Cody gasped with a blink when Zack's palm rubbed against him. That had felt really good, no different than when a girl had jacked him off, and he felt a weird sense of pride and affection when he returned the gesture and Zack gasped. It became a game, their competitive natures coming out in this weird and new way. Cody nearly laughed in triumph when Zack came before him, but choked on the idea when seconds later his eyes rolled in his head and he came across Zack's hand.
They lay, trying to catch their breath and not thinking, as Sir tossed a towel on them and walked away, calling out joyfully. "Well done boys, your master will be so very pleased."
Cody blinked as he realized he was proud and happy Sir was so pleased with them.
Zack stretched, they'd done good. Sir was happy with them, proud of them even and some of the tension eased from his back.

"I want to see them."
"That's not a good idea Mr. Martin." Benson tried to calm the father without aggravating him further.
Kurt scowled, leaning forward in his chair. "And I don't give a shit. I want to see them."
"While the boys appear in good health, the pictures are disturbing." Harris tried.
Kurt met his eyes. "They can't be any more disturbing than what I'm already picturing myself."
Harris had to admit the guy had him there. He looked to the mother. She nodded along with the father, but didn't appear as sure.
That's when Stabler joined them, sitting on the edge of the desk before the parents, a folder held loosely in his hands. "What you have to keep in mind is that physically they are fine. The kidnaper has not harmed them. Most of that is on Zack and Cody. They've done the right thing not fighting the kidnapper. There is a time to fight in these situations and a time to listen and how a person handles these times is what helps them. Through, as you know, ultimately the kidnapper is to blame for how things progress."
Benson nodded, as she took the folder and conversation from her partner. "The stress people go through during these situations is insurmountable. It's impossible to retain and hold that type of terror for any period of time. People just can't maintain that level of high alert. Listening to the perpetrator, receiving praise from them, relieves that stress and predators know this. They know that with the threat of violence consistently over their heads people will latch on to any praise to get relief from that fear. Predators use that to get people to do what they want without fighting. The praise, the false kindness, trains people that its always better to do what they're told, as even the threat of that violence level returning is enough to frighten them into complying."
The parents nodded along. Carey clutched her children's items and Kurt closed his eyes and took deep calming breaths. Finally Kurt looked between them. "But as long as they listen, this guy won't hurt them. I don't care what they have to do if it gets them back to us."
Carey nodded.
"As of right now, we believe he won't hurt them physically as long as they do as they are told." Harris didn't mention that could change at any time.
They had carefully chosen the pictures for the parents but there was still no deigning what was going on.
Carey made a hurt noise at the sight of her boys. She didn't notice or care that they were sharing a kiss in the photo. She traced their features with her finger, holding the photo so her tears wouldn't ruin the image.
Kurt didn't know what to think. He knew the cops were showing them the safest photos. "You don't have to show me but are there any photos of that asshole touching them?"
"No." Stabler quickly responded.
Kurt nodded with a deep sigh. "Okay."
