Why is it that every time something bad happens it's my fault? I got David mad...but what did I do? Now because of this damned body I am reliving a part of my life, it doesn't help that my head is pounding and that fucking ringing wont stop. I watch as my past self talks with Nathan in a broken down house. The roof in the living room had a gaping hole causing sunlight to shine down, you can see dust swirl around in the light. Within the light sat two people, one was leaning up against the sofa, the person was playing with the bandage on her forehead. This person was me, I watched as she was frowning, her eyes unfocused meaning that she was deep in thought. Her other hand laid on her lap, every so often the fingers would twitch. I shifted my eyes to Nathan who was to her left.
He had his hood down due to the lack of light within the room. He was sitting like that of a dog, he was facing towards my past self and where I am currently standing I only saw his profile. A frown was plastered on his face as he watched the old me, every time my finger would twitch his smile would tug down more. My old self stopped playing with her bandage, sigh and turned towards Nathan. "You know how you said I was gonna die." Nathan nodded his head in understanding causing her to cast away her eyes in embarrassment. Of course I know what she was thinking, she was thinking something that she shouldn't. She cleared her throat before continuing, "Well...I was thinking...is there any way for me not to die. I mean I don't want to die but I also don't to..you know."
I glanced over at Nathan to see him tilt his head to the side in a manner of thinking. My past self refused to make eye contact. Nathan growled to her, I knew what he was saying since I myself, is already dead, but my past self could only make out certain words. "There is one way. But it's a fifty percent chance and if it does succeed the process is agonizing." At this she quickly looked at Nathan hope and fear visible in her eyes. "Soooo, there's a way for me not to die?" Huffing Nathan nodded his dead, slightly irritated that I couldn't fully understand him. At this news my old self beamed asking questions on how she can live and what does she need to do. She excitedly shifted her position to fully face him. She sat on her knees gripping his shoulders and brought his face close to hers. If this was on a normal circumstance she wouldn't touch him, let alone bring their faces that close with out punching them or blushing like mad. Yet, this time it's different, I was currently dying my personal space really wasn't my main issue at the moment. Even now in my current body my personal space preference has changed dramatically. I guess being dead changes you...well you know..besides being dead and all.
"You would have to turn..." Nathan looked away and towards where I stand.
"Tuuurrrnnnn?" She moved her head forward closing the space between them.
"Into a infected, but not the normal infected. You would have to be a special infected...like me." He glanced back at her not liking the way the conversation is going. "I always wanted to be a Hunter-"
"No."
"What?"
"You heard me."
"WHYYYY NOOOTTTTT!" She whined frowning and jumping a little in place. This earned a annoyed growl come from our sweet lil Nathan.
"Cause it hurts like Hell that's why!" This caused her to stop and consider his words. A sly smile creeped it's way on her face her face on the other hand became creepy. "Oh~ are you worried about me~?" she mocked.
"..." Nathan just stared at her before sighing, "Well I guess there really is no other choice." I was shocked at what happened next, I mean I came to know the guy being a pervert when I was dead but never when I was alive. Or I did and never thought about it, no I would cause I would hit him. Nathan quickly pinned her down straddling her waist as he held both of her wrists above her head with one of his hands. She froze with fear, her eyes widened, her body became stiff not daring to move a single muscle. He lowed his head to her ear and huskily asked if this is what she really wanted.
"Y-yes?" She managed to squeak out uncertainty laced in her voice. Nathan nodded, with his free hand he moved down her hoodie neckline. He entangled their legs and pressed his body onto her. Once a good amount of skin was visible he looked into her eyes, making sure this is what she really wanted. Giving a tiny nod he dug in claws deep within the left side of her neck and slowly dragged it down half way almost entering the middle of the neck area. I cringed when the sound of skin ripping and her excruciating screams reached my ears. Blood pooled around her within seconds, she thrashed about but due to Nathan holding her down her movement was limited. Once the wound was big enough he latched his mouth down onto it making sure that his razor sharp teeth wont pierce the skin. He began to drink up the blood and lick up the wound making sure to stick his tongue inside the wound. Once the wound was somewhat 'clean' he made sure spit covered his tongue like a second coat and repeated the process.
My old self was grossing out and too busy crying and struggling to say anything. I mean I don't blame her I'm still grossed out from watching this shit.
Hearing the ringing again, a sign that it was time for me to leave memory lane, I silently rejoiced happy that I get to leave this disgusting part of my mind.
When I came too I only heard silence yet the smells around me told me that Nathan was with me and we were...outside? Yea no we were definitely outside I smelt the dirt of the earth and the ash from the fires. "You OK?" Nathan wined to me much like a dog. Lifting up my head to look straight to where he was I nodded. "Where is everyone?" I asked trying to smell out the others location but came up short. "They went into the sewers, to the base." Nathan answered helping me up onto my fours. Nodding we made our way back to the entrance of the manhole. While I waited for Nathan to move open the cover I thought of something. "Hey Nathan." He hummed. "Why didn't you ask about the-" I stopped trying to find the right words. "Me speaking human." He dropped the cover to the side of the hole and looked at me. "Hm, I never thought about it. How did you learn to speak it anyway?" I was going to explain the whole deal with Amber but I smelled another infected. I tensed up, Nathan seemed to noticed. "Where?"
"Big. To our right and behind. A yard or two away. One. Half In a building and half out. Charger." Hearing a slight shift in clothes I figured that Nathan was going to check it out. I didn't want to get in the way, nor in any danger I stayed where I was. You can't really blame me, though staying in one spot while a human tank is on the search for you really isn't a good idea either. Heightening my hearing I listened to Nathan approach the Charger, hearing growls of warning and anger I guessed things are turning for the worst. If this is an enemy then I don't want them to find the others. Thinking this I pushed the manhole cover back over the hole: hoping that whoever it was didn't see the others go down.
I jumped when I heard Nathan give his attack screech. Oh man this isn't good. Within a minute Nathan ran past me tugging on my sleeve as a sign of "run". Running down the street and away from our friends, I caught up with Nathan and asked what happened. "Some Charger said he knew you and wanted revenge or some shit because you were being an asshole. Know anything about this?!" I took a moment to think back. I smiled slightly, "Ah, yea...he punched me into a wall or something like that." I dodged the Charger's charge making a right down a street we began to climb the wall. Since Hunter's are suited for this kind of thing than Charger's it would buy us time to escape. "Are you fucking kidding me Victoria?! I can't leave you alone without you starting shit!" I felt him bare his teeth not wanting him to hit me I launched myself up on the roof and headed for the next. "You're not getting away from me this time!" I heard him howl, picking up speed I leaped into the air hoping that I would be on the other roof before Nathan got on the roof.
"Too bad you were always slow when it came to running."
Getting tackled to the ground by force that sent the two bodies to the ground seven floors down, hitting the ground in the persons arms with them on all fours isn't my ideal way of landing...or anything for that matter. When Nathan let me go I sat down on my butt awaiting for the punishment. We didn't worry about the Charger since we lost him on the roof, him smelling us would be impossible since we were now surrounded by other infected both normal and special. Neither paid any mind to the two Hunters in the ally for Hunters usually played like this normally. Feeling Nathan grab my good arm undoing the tape and rolling up the sleeves, I could only guess what he was going to do. Can you hear the sarcasm? I felt him chomp down on my arm the area by my wrist. I winced in pain. Biting one another is a way of punshing each other when you are infected, biting one another also shows affection but you bite a different area such as the lower neck or the back or even the thighs.
He pulled my sleeve down and re-did my tape with what I would guess is a frown. "Don't go pissing people off without me there cause this is what happens!" I huffed a whatever. Hearing rapid footsteps both Nathan and I looked out on the street to see a Smoker.
"Nathan, Victoria, it's an emergency the information plan has failed the humans know the location of Project Retake Earth and are heading there as we speak. We need orders fight or flight?!" All emotion left my face as I became serious.
"Take me to the zone, get all evac leaders alerted we move the artillery to Zone Section B. Victoria go to our Eyes In The Sky, you know what to do." Nathan's voice changed to that of a true born leader.
"I'll have the Eyes ready to move out to take coverage, once the target has been spotted I'll have the Runners send message. In the meantime do you want me to activate the traps and notify the C squad for interference?" I asked, Nathan squeezed my shoulder for my answer. Nodding I took off to the roofs again.
"Does that mean I get to eat?"
"Yes."
"You seem focused. It's weird...I don't like it...be stupid again."
"Of course, I want to ill these humans dead as much as the next infected. And I'll forget that you just called me stupid."
"You're getting a lot like a normal infected, thinking that way. You know what happens when that happens right?"
"So be it."
Seeing a scout ahead I screeched telling them that I am coming, they spotted me and screeched back. I landed in front of the Hunter, "What's up Boss Lady?"
"We got a problem."
Yayyyyy another chap doneeeee~ Did you expect Nathan and Victoria to act the way they did? What is your idea on what is going to happen?
