The trip was a Hell ride let me tell you, not once but twice the car broke down making us find a repair shop and then try and fix it. Tyler was our car fixer uper since he was all about cars but his knowledge about fixing them was another thing, he knew limited things about fixing them. Each time the cars would break broke down it would take Tyler an hour or two to find the problem then another hour or to too actally fix it, or try to fix it. We actally had to find a manual on how to fix the cars for him.
The car's was our biggest problem but the lack of food that we had and or found was another. Even though we lost a mouth to feed the food was getting eaten up like she was still alive, which pisses me off. I told them she was bad news, but no one was listening to me! I'm only trying to help and save everyone but they get pissy about it! They just don't understand- the voices I can't tell them about it but they know things! They said that Cristina girl was going to kill someone and she did! I tried to tell them, I did- Food was down to one bag per person, even that wasn't enough. The weather was just getting colder and we found out that Halloween was coming up. No one was looking forward to it but-
The voices said that Halloween would be bad they said that I need to watch the infected, the voices never did me wrong so I would listen to them.
We just entered Missouri from our long hellish road trip, the whole trip took us a week and a half to fucking get to where we are now and we're not even done with the trip yet! We plan to stay in a house that could hold all of us- We are trying to advoid the city so we headed to the country where apartments were commen. The group was back to normal and by normal I mean not normal whatsoever.
It was getting cold so right before we entered the state we got some new clothes for my team and for Skittlez's eyes. We got a red scarf for her to wrap around her eyes and winter coats and scarfs along with hats for my team.
Jacob was more catious of the dangers refusing to let anyone go alone anywhere, except our infected friends he knows that they can handle themselfs. He took up the snipping skill, everytime we had to stop he would find a sniper in the nearest gun store and learn the ways of the snipe. He kept a sniper from Ohio and has been learning how to use it, since then he's actally gotten good at it.
Marcelo was back to normal though he wasn't normal to begin with. He was cracking jokes with best friend and insulting Jake like nothing has happened. Even though he seemed happy, whenever you brought up the incident or Cristina he would go into a depressed state. I also saw that he was getting close with Nathan, staying up late to leave with the two Hunters only to come back earily in the morning made me a little suspisious. Having talked with Marcelo about it he told me that they were just hanging out and telling him the life they have as a Hunter. I also guessed it was to have Marcelo forget about Cristina.
Tyler was more clingy to me then usual, where ever I saw he was always there. At first I thought it was because he wished to be around me, that he actally liked my company but upon further notice he wasn't with me because he loved me, it was because he was watching me to make sure that I wouldn't do anything that would "endanger" the group. The only two people that came to mind to have my Tyler watch me like I'm sort of dangerous animal was Ashley and Jake. I confronted Tyler but he said that he just truly wants to be around me.
Tiff was herself, the death of Cristina only fuled her desire to preach that Skittlez and Nathan were evil, and that they planned the death. No one paied any mind to her as they should, all Tiff was sprouting was bullshit. Since we came out and away from New York we saw more infected and less Z territories. I was surprised to see Z territorie markers all the way out here in the first place, to think that they would build The Dome all the way here was surprising, but again that's just like them. They want to take as much land as they can to expand the Dome, I just wonder how far are they willing to go. Tiff has proved herself to be trustworthy since she has yet to escape and or kill anyone, so by my command she was let free to roam around. Weird as it is she wanted to stay with the group with the reason, "I want to show you the truth before I take all of you down" and since there is no truth she won't be no harm to us.
Skittlez was getting more happy as we got closer to the main base, I mean who wouldn't, closer to the main base means off this damn road trip. Her relationship with Nathan has gotten better, they have been insulting each other more. Now if we are talking about a normal couple insulting each other would be a sign for a falling apart relationship but with Nathan and Skittlez the more they insult each other the more they become close to each other. I noticed that in each state they would leave early in the morning and comeback at twelve just to stay and hour before they leave again. I wanted to ask about it but everytime I brought it up Skittlez would say "Ah don't worry about it we're just hungry and exploring." I dropped the topic there not really want to get any further in case she would bring up something I don't want to hear. And if you're smart you know what I'm talking about.
Ashley has been reserved since Daniel died, she would only talk to the other infected and when she would talk with the other's she would make only polite conversation and excuse herself so she could read. Ashley picked up a few books while we were on the road to pass the time, but now it's an excuse to just get away from the humans in the group. I'm guessing that after the Dome killed her boyfriend she decided that humans were bad news again, not that I blame her since us humans are the ones killing their homeland and killing them all the well knowing that the special infected can be welcomed with open arms yet the humans choose to completely ingore that.
Nathan was normal, as in the same since I first met him. He's secretive but open with Skittlez and goes about to do his own bussiness but this time Skittlez is with him. He's also protective toward Skittlez like he always was so I don't have much to say about him.
The ride into the country side was nice and with only two cars- the groups had to split, and by groups I mean the infected group. Nathan and Skittlez flat out refused to drive with me because Tiff was with us so Ashley had gotten into the car without complaint, she also completely ingored Tiff with her finger pointing along with her insults. Nathan and Skittlez took the back seats of the Elites car, Nathan had suggested it since the orginal seating chart had Nathan to sit in the front and Marcelo and Skittlez in the back. His reason for the seat change was "My only place is next to my girl.", it was cute so he got the seat but Skittlez had a comment for that, "I'm not a girl, I'm a women." He laughed saying that her height and face could say otherwise, and that got him a punch square in the chest.
We were looking for a apartment complex that wasn't totally destoryed, having found one that was right off the road we pulled right in to check out the apartments. I jumped down from the car positioning the gun making sure the ammo is full before I went around to meet up with everyone. "So should we group up or stay as a big group?" Tyler asked stepping close to me for our shoudlers to brush. I wanted to smile at him but I don't trust Tyler, his true intentions are unclear as to why he's always around me. "First thing is first we have a advantage here." Jacob looked to Skittlez to see her poking at one of her boils that looked about to pop. His face was disgusted looking as if he wanted to throw up but he called to her again this time getting her to look up asking 'what'. "Can your nose smell if there are any humans in the area?" She took stopped moving, her breaths were long and deep, she kept this up for a good thirty seconds before she gave her answer.
"There was a big group of survivers here that left..." She took another big long sniff. "A hour ago but no human is around for a good two to three miles out, that's how far I can smell." Jacob said that he was impressed, "Ok we should go as a group, each person takes a door on the same floor so if there's hostiles in the room others who don't have any can easily come to your aid." I wasn't for this plan but the voices said that if we split up then more then one would die, the voices said that darkness would swallow them. The voices are never wrong. The infected around the area were little to none due to being away from the city that held the majority of the infected, don't get me wrong but- I wanted to get this over with so we can stay here for a week, I needed my sleep- We moved towards the apartments that was in front of our cars.
The first row was clear so we made our way to the second floor busting down the door. This one had a family of two small kids and a mom, I shot them all in the head without a second thought, the others really didn't need to know about if they were zombies or not. I heard two other shots from Tiff's room and a growl from Ashley's. When we met on the walkway that connected to all the doors Jacob said that his was vacant and still intact. Agreeing we that his should be our camp for the week we went in to claim our sleeping area.
The apartment was a two bed two bath apartment with a small kitchen and living room. Once you step in the living room was to your right and the kitchen was to your left that connected to a small dinning area. When you look straight down there was a narrow hallway that had the master bed and bath at the very end, the other bed and bath was across from each other in the hall. The water and power didn't work like the mall so we needed to find some candles and a water system but that's later. Tiff ran straight to the master bedroom claiming it as hers as she slammed and locked the door. "Ugh what a bitch." Marcelo groaned as he moved toward the sliding glass doors that led to the porch, he sat down near the corner of the doors saying that he would sleep here cause he likes to look at the stars at night. I made my way to the other bed room and again Tyler tagged along. "This our sleeping corders? I like it, it's privite so we can be alone." I rolled my eyes irreated that he's pretending to be happy to sleep in the same room. The apartment was what Jake said, vacant, when he said that I thought vacant of zombies not that it was actally vacant as in no one had moved in.
"I'll sleep by the closet you can sleep over by the window." I made my way over to the spot where I was going to sleep. Tyler blinked, "Y-you don't want to sleep with me?" I turned back when I unzipped and placed it in my sleeping spot. "I know what your up too and I won't fall for it!" I poked his chest he faked looking hurt, oh he's trying to fool me again. I walked out not wanting him to try and convince me that he really did love me. The only reason I'm still with him is to watch him, like I said I don't trust him, the voices said not to. The voices are never worng.
"Who's never wrong?" I turned around to find him behind me in the hallway. I glared at him the voices told me that he was reading my mind. "Nothing! Why are you so curious, trying to kill me?! I know what you're up to!" I stomped out of hallway to go back into the living room to find Jake all pack and ready to head on back out, this got me confused since I thought we were going to rest for a few days before we head back on the road. "Where you going?" I asked him, he looked up at me cocking his headto the side as if I should already know the answer.
"You mean you me and Tyler with the help of Ash."
"...Where are we going?" I glanced over to Marcelo, Skittlez and Nathan to find them chatting it up completely ingoring the conversation.
"After the group that Skittlez smelled, I want to see if they want to tag alone, but if not I guess we can ask them for a trade in supplies." He called for Tyler as I just stood there. The voices were telling me it was a good idea to trust the group that we were tailing, so I decided to suck it up and abide my goodbyes to the ones who would stay back.
So I stopped editing the errors half way though because my back was hurting from being hunched over, that and I started to get board. Anyway Hope you enjoyed.
