They left me here, alone, with a betch. I came out of the room because it suddenly got quiet, only to find that they left me all alone. I'm not too worried about zombies breaking in, but staying in the same house with Tiff? Yeah, no thank you. If Tiff finds that everyone left, she's just gonna try to boss me around. Maybe if I locked her inside the room she's in then- nah I'm going to do it anyway.
Getting up from the living room floor, I grabbed a chair that was in the kitchen then headed towards the betch's room. Knowing Tiff, she was probably sleeping her life away like she should because no one cares about her. After I put the chair against the door knob, so should couldn't escape, I went back into the kitchen to rummage through the shelves, hoping that the people before us left some food.
Beans? Nah. Oranges- nope, they have worms, gross. Don't they have, like, twinkies? I headed toward the pantry to finding only empty boxes. "Stupid boxes," I grumbled as I kicked them. One of the boxes I kicked knocked over a stack, revealing a blue container, just as I was about to close the door. Is that Twinkie goodness?! Bending down I threw the garbage that was on top of it to find that it wasn't actually twinkies, but...cake?
The cake was in a plastic container, from the looks of it it seemed good, but not taking a chance I got out of the pantry and put the cake on the table. Taking a sniff I noticed that it didn't smell bad, if you could call it that.
"Time to open you...but not with my hands cause you got nasty shet on you," I said to the cake. I went to Tyler's stuff, looking for some sort of gloves. I'm hoping that the cakes good, having something sweet right now would be the best thing ever, and if it isn't good then I will be one unhappy person. Curse people and curse the cake.
I found some crumbled up paper towels at the bottom of Tyler's stuff, thinking that it was better than nothing, I grabbed them and headed back into the kitchen. Looking at the container I scrunched up my nose finally smelling the dried blood on it. "How hungry am I?" I am hungry, but am I hungry enough to eat this cake that's been sitting there for god knows how long? Wrapping the paper towels around my hands making sure that my skin wasn't showing, I took off the lid from container. The instant I took off the top, I bent over the side of the table to empty my stomach, whatever was left in it.
"Oh my God! That's a horrible smell! Ugh, no way I'm eating that." I quickly put the top back on the cake, walked over to the back porch, and just threw the whole thing as far as I could. The horrid smell burning inside my nostrils, I took a deep breath of fresh air, only to begin coughing by the chilled air tickling the back of my throat.
Outside it was nice, the leaves were all on the ground, the air was cold, causing me to shiver slightly. I was grateful that I had an outfit that was resistant to the cold. If I was like David and his group, I would be too cold to move an inch. The air would give an occasional breeze, making the trees rustle, that being the only sound I heard. Yet if I listened closely, I could hear the shuffling of feet from the infected, or the noises in the distance made by the special infected. But this didn't bother me as much as it did before, I mean, I have gotten use to it since I was around Wifey and her friends.
I blissfully closed my eyes enjoying the peacefulness of the world right now. I sighed, wishing that this moment would last just a bit longer, but it was shortened by banging from inside the house. "UGHHHHHHHH!" I knew who it was, it was the betch, Tiff, who's probably trying to get out of her room. Heh sucks for her.
Closing and locking the porch doors, I strolled over to the visibly shaking doors, and jumped when a loud bang came at the door, nearly throwing it off it's hinges. Surprised, I stayed put, not daring to go near the scary door.
"Get me out of here now!" Another bang came from the room causing me to jump. She's going to break down the door! She's crazy! She's going to break down the door and some zombies might hear it, they'll come running...
"Tiff, stop! You're making too much noise!"
"I wouldn't be making any noise, if you didn't lock me in here!"
"I locked you in cause I don't trust you!"
"David trusts me!"
"I'm not David, nor his team. I take orders from my team only, and sadly, and my team doesn't trust you!"
"Fuck you you damn wannabe elite!"
"Stupid whore!"
"Bitch breath!"
"You...ah...you...BAKA!" I stormed to the kitchen, leaving behind a confused sack of meat. Stupid Tiff, dumb bitch, I hate her! Why did they have to leave me here all alone with HER?! Might as well take a nap or something to pass the time, but what happens if zombies break in? Ugh, so hard. Do I sleep or do I keep watch?
"Ahhh whatever I die then I die, at least I'll die in my sleep." I stalked over to the front door making sure it's locked before I headed over to my sleeping spot near the sliding glass doors to the back porch. If they want in, then they'll have to lockpick the door. That was the last thought that went through my mind as I drifted to sleep.
I woke up to the group talking amongst themselves, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, I saw that Wifey and Nate are back, and someone let Tiff out of her room. I scooted over to the circle on the ground listening to what they were saying, trying to make out what I missed so I can join the conversation. I glanced out the glass doors to see the moon high in the sky. So it's midnight, I slept that long?!
Wifey turned her head to David asking who else did the people wanted to know. This got me to understand that they caught up with the group. Tyler answered for David which earned him a hateful glare from him.
"You." Wifey titled her said to the side, "What'd you say?"
"I said that you're mean." Wifey did this scary growl towards Tyler. I'm glad I'm not him. I saw that Tyler flinched back slightly from the growl but he tried to cover it up with the smirk. "He asked what you guys like to do and stuff, so I said you like to jump on people, hurt people, mock people and kill people."
Nathan leaned over at Wifey, a mocking smile on his face, " He's right you k-" I cringed and looked away when Wifey bit deep into Nathan's shoulder, giving that scary growl again. I heard the sound of fleshing ripping and the squishy skin being munched on, the scent of blood filling the air, making me want to puke. I closed my eyes trying to keep the bile down as I still listened to the conversation.
"What did I do?! He's the one who said it!"
"Yes, but if I bit him, he'll get infected. You on the other hand, is already dead." Tiff asked what happened when they say Ashley with them. Since Ashley was an special infected, an enemy to humans according to Z and survivors that don't know the truth, they would try to kill her the minute they saw her coming. I turned my head to the side a little so I could see the rest of the group while the two Hunters stayed out of my line of vision. "How did they not shoot you?" I asked.
Ash turned my way giving a soft smile in my direction, "Ah, they did but after we explained to them our situation they came to an understanding quit fast." I'm glad that they could understand us, just the thought of them being friendly with Ash calmed my nerves about them. It seems that we can trust this group, though we just met them I can tell that this is going to be the started of a beautiful friendship.
The next hour was them telling us what had happened when they met up with the group. Apparently, they would be coming over for information and some trading, but only until they speak with their boss about it. From what I heard the boss was out hunting for food when they showed up at their camp. Everyone seemed really happy about the new people, but when I looked to Nathan and Wifey ... they didn't see to thrilled about the whole idea of new people coming over to where we are.
"Did they say when they would be coming?" Wifey asked. Oh that's right, I totally forgot that they would be coming over, wait did they say they would cause I wasn't listening.
"Sometime today or tomorrow," Jacy said as he stood up, also telling us that we should get some rest since we'll be having company. I watched as the group got up to get some sleep, I noticed that Ash, Nate and Wifey stayed put.
"I have a bone to pick with you fucker." Oh ewh she's still here. I looked at Tiff, giving her my grossed out my face.
"Go back to your cage freak," I said. Tiff reached for me, pulling me to my feet, getting the attention of the infected part of the group.
"Apologize," she commanded. I rolled my eyes at her as I forced myself from her grip.
"Nuh uh, not unless you bow down and say 'Marcelo is the best' ten times."
"I'm not bending down to you!"
"Why? Cause you're a fat ass? I already knew that."
"KILL YOURSELF!"
"Would if I could, but I am the shining star of this team." I put the back of my hand on my forehead as I tilted my head away from her. I heard snickers from the corner of the room, probably Wifey laughing at me.
"Ok enough you two go get some sleep." Jacey came back into the room, yanking the bitch away from me so he could drag her back into her room.
Ashley grabbed her book she was reading and headed to the back porch to read some more. Eyeing the book, I scrunched up my nose at the evil thing. Books were evil, 'nuff said. You would never get me to read a book, nothing in the world would make me read one or even a sentence from one. I would rather eat that gross cake then read a book, and maybe, if the cake tasted good.
I was going to head down the hallway to go peepee when Wifey stopped me. "Whats up?" I looked behind her to see Nate not too happy. I don't like this, I'm scared. "Let's go out."
"I know I'm sexy but, damn, thirsty much." I choked when she put me into a headlock squeezing the air out of me.
"Who's thirsty?" I shivered on how dangerous her voice sounds,
"You you whore! Ugh let go!" I pushed out of her grip and immediately fixed my, hair sending her a glare.
"I meant let's go outside," she says. My brows pushed together, outside? Why can't she do that with her boyfriend? Outside is like, ten feet away. Ten feet too far.
"Go outside with Nathan-"
"UGHHHH, let's just go." She stood up, her hunched form marched over to me, grabbed my arm, and hauled me to the front door. "I told Nathan to stay back here." She finished as she shoved me outside.
"Follow me," Wifey said as she started down the steps. I was confused, but I followed anyway, wondering where she was going to take me. It's late, so walking outside in the dark was dangerous for me, not that I didn't think she would protect me if I needed it, but I couldn't see where I was heading. I could walk right into a zombie without even knowing.
Not liking the distance, I sped up so I was close to Wifey, asking, "where are we going?"
"A house. We have an appointment."
"Wait, what? I'm confused." I replied. We crossed the street, onto the sidewalk where the path was mostly clear of zombies. Wifey crawled closer to me as she spoke, "I need to show you something, something Nathan can't know about, so keep this between us."
I looked down at Wifey, confused as to why she would keep something a secret from Nathan. From what I know, they tell each other everything. This made me wonder if they had a fight or something.
"You okay, Wifey?"
"Yeah, just promise me you won't tell anyone about this. If anyone asked, tell them you needed supplies or some shit." We stopped momentarily when a Jockey came running up to Skittlez to hand her a sheet of paper before growling something and running off again. She just slipped the paper in her hoodie pocket without a second thought. I wanted to ask about it, but decided against it, since it wasn't my business.
"Um, why can't you tell Nathan about it?" I asked. It still made me uneasy to think that she's going to show me something that no one can no about. We turned the corner and started walking up to a house that seemed to be in pretty good shape. If you took a normal house and just blew off the roof, and made the how look scary, that's what this house looked like. A dim light was shining on the inside, but it was too dim to see. Maybe the light source was coming from the back of the house?
"If he knew...let's just say if you value your life, and mine, you wouldn't say anything." Wifey responded. Swallowing hard, I meekly nodded, not liking this at all. I wanna go home.
She opened the door and lead me toward the back of the house, walking into one of the bedrooms. Upon opening, it Wifey greeted whoever was in there. Pushing the door wider, I stepped inside to find something that I couldn't believe. I dropped my gun, my hands too shaky to hold it properly.
"It's about damn time. What took you so long-" The person stood up, their hair even longer than before, reaching the back of their knees, the color of their skin and hair paled so much that, at first, I couldn't recognize them. Their clothes took a turn for the worst, ripped short shorts and bandages wrapped around their chest. The person was careful as they turned around trying not to cut anything with their long sharp claws, claws that were now covered in dirt and blood. As they turned, I saw their glowing yellow eyes widen.
"Marcelo?"
"C-Cristina?"
