It has been an exciting time at Mahora Acedemy. Ever since the 15 year old Negi Springfield has become the newest teacher, things have been crazy for Class 2A. After the latest adventure in the Mahora Library, 2A scored ther higest in the school, and Negi and Makie had shared their first kiss. After all this Negi hoped things would quiet down. He was wrong.
One night, Makie and Ako were walking back to Mahora after spending the day at the mall. They were carrying what they bought and talking to one another when they heard a twig snap. They looked back and Makie asked "Did you hear that?" "Yeah I did" Ako answered. They then countinued walkinh home when they heard what they thought were footsteps behind them. Scared they started picking up speed and so did the noise behind them. Soon they dropped their bags and were running as fast as they could, the noise growing even louder. Makie and Ako kept running until they tripped and fell, then the noise stopped. They looked around but saw nothing. Then the heard a loud thud behing them. They turned their heads and they saw a tall man in a dark cloak holding a knife. Makie and Ako let out a huge scream.
A few minuttes before this Negi was sitting in his room, reading a book, when a strange feeling hit him. Negi walked out of his room and saw Yuna in the hallway. He walked up to her, she saw him and said "Hey Negi how are you?". "I'm fine" he answered, he then asked "Yuna have you seen Makie and Ako?". "Not since they went to the mall this morning. Why is something wrong?" Yuna answered. "I just have a strange feeling about something. I have to go" Negi said before he left. Yuna, worried something was wrong went to go fing someone to tell.
Back with Makie and Ako, the man approached them holding up his knife. "What do you want?" Makie asked terrified. "Please don't hurt us" Ako said crying alittle. "Makie Sasaki and Ako Izumi, you two are very close to Negi Springfield, correct?" the man said. They both nodded yes. "Then you must die" the man said as he lifted his knife high. Makie and Ako closed their eyes and hugged each other, waiting for the end, until they head "STOP!". Makie and Ako opened they eyes and were overjoyed to see Negi. The man turned around and Negi was shocked to see who it was. "You!" Negi said enraged. The man smiled and evil grin, "Yes, it's me. One of the men who destroyed your village" he said. Makie and Ako were horrified to hear that he was one of the men who attacked Negi's home. "Why are you here?" Negi asked still enraged. "I was ordered to kill these two by my leader" the man answered. "You leader? The one who lead the massacre of my home? WHO IS HE?!" Negi asked more angry then ever. "I can't tell you" the man answered, then threw his knife at Negi. Negi then put his hands together and said "Spera defensiva" creating a sphere around him that deflected the knife. Negi then said "Sagittarius" and a ball of fire was shoot and the man. It hit him and sent the man flying. He got back up and jumped into the trees. "I'll be back" the man said then ran off. Negi then walked over to Makie and Ako. Ako had a look of amazment on her face at what she just saw. Negi took their hands and helped then back up. Negi was about to say something when he heard behind him, "What was that?'. He turned around and saw Yuna and Akira standing a few feet away and had saw everything. Negi knew he now had to explain everything to Ako, Yuna, and Akira.
Back at their dorm room, Negi was about to explain everyting to Ako, Yuna, and Akira. "You all probably wonder what happened back their don't you?' Negi asked them. They all nodded yes. Negi sighed softly, "You see, i'm a wizard" Negi said. The three girls were all suprised to hear this, except for Makie. Ako noticed and asked, "Makie why aren't you suprised?" sahe asked. "You see, I already knew" Makie answered. The three were even more shocked to hear this, "Why didn't you tell us?" Yuna asked. "Because it's suppose to be a secret. I found out when Negi saved me from falling and I promised to keep it a secret" Makie answered. The tree girls understood what she said, then turned back to Negi. "I need all three of you to promise that you'll keep this a secret too" Negi said. All three nodded, "We promise" they all said. Negi smiled hearing this. "Wow. I can't believe your a wizard Negi" Ako said..."THAT'S SO COOL!". "Yeah, you can do real magic and spells!" Yuna said. "I can't believe it! That thing with the fireball, that was amazing!" Akira added. Negi smiled at their reactions, they were just as excited as Makie. Then Chamo came back and started making noises to act normal. "It's fine Chamo, they know" Negi told him. Chamo then stood up, "Thank God! I hate acting like another ermine when i'm more awsome then anyother!" he said. The three girls were amazed to hear Chamo actually speak! Negi was relieved that Ako, Yuna, and Akira weren't scared by his magic but he knew he had to be more careful now. With his old enemies appearing and now four people knowing his secret, Negi knew things had just started to get crazy.
