Dean eyes Seth as Seth mixes the batter. Dean mumbles softly, "Seth.. are you sure you can do this?"

Seth glares at Dean, "Mom gave me the recipe it'll be fine." It was Roman's birthday and Seth wanted to do something special for him. He thought that getting the recipe for Roman's favorite cake would be a great surprise.

Dean sighs softly, "Sethie..."

Seth glares, "Don't call me that.."

Dean coughs and smirks, "Ok .. but bro.. mom's cake never ever looked like that."

Seth looks at the batter and bites his lip, "I.. I..I don't know.."

Dean frowns and rubs Seth's back, "Lets just.. cook it and see?"

Seth nods and pours the lumpy and weird looking mess into the cake pan. He then sets the timer like how his mom told him and then puts the cake in the preheated oven. Seth and Dean then go and sit down in the living room.

Half an hour later, Seth checks the oven. He frowns in confusion since the batter is still watery. Dean looks over Seth's shoulder and then turns up the oven.

"Lets see if this helps," Dean states and then pulls his brother away from the oven.

Roman comes home and blinks when he sees black smoke coming out of the kitchen. He runs into the kitchen to find Dean fanning the oven. Seth is holding something that looks like ash in a pan. Seth looks at Roman and his eyes go wide, "Hi Ro."

Dean coughs and then grins at Roman, "Hungry?"

Roman eyes them both, "Um.. "

Seth holds out the pan and Roman looks down at his cake pan. His best cake pan at that. There's a black mess in it and looks like something out of a horror movie.

Seth whispers, "mom gave me the recipe... and... I suck at baking."

Roman sighs and takes the pan putting it to the side. He hugs Seth tightly, "I'm thrilled you tried to bake Seth it means a lot."

Seth smiles brightly and Dean huffs, "what about me."

Roman lets go of Seth and hugs Dean.

Both brother smile brightly, "Happy birthday Ro."

Roman chuckles softly, "Want to go out to dinner now?"

Seth nods brightly, "and I'll buy the cake."

Dean nods, "Deal."

Roman takes the pan and just throws it out since there's on way they're getting that clean. "And you're buying me a new cake pan."
