The gang was almost at their detestation.
"It will be so great to see my cousin Jed again." said Fred
"I can't wait to meet him!" said Daphne
"Like What does Jed do, Fred?" said Shaggy
"He makes Monsters." said Fred
"MONSTERS?!" screamed Shaggy and Scooby, looking at each other and crouching down in the back of the van.
"You know I think I left something on the stove. And Scooby and I have to go back!" said Shaggy
"Relax, You scaredy cats. Jed works at a special effects studio. They make fake monsters for movies." said Velma
Shaggy and Scooby breathed sighs of relief.
"And, like, why are we going to see him?" said Shaggy
"Reah!" Said Scooby
"He was drawn of blank of ideas for monster costumes so I told him about some of the monsters we unmasked." said Fred
"R-RHich rones?" Said Scooby
"The Black Knight Ghost, The Ghost Clown, The Beast of Bottomless Lake, The 10,000 Volt Ghost, The Ghost of Zen-Tuo and his zombie henchmen, The Scare Pair, The Caveman, The Disc Demon and Even The dreaded Pterodactyl Ghost." said Fred
"Zoinks!" said Shaggy
"Rall them?" said Scooby
So the gang had finally arrived at the place where Jed worked. It was a big building. There was a big sign that read MFM.
Fred, Daphne and Velma exited the van and walked towards the building.
"Here we are, Gang! I give you, Monstrous Fright and Magic! Monsters While you wait." said Fred
"Sure! And like do ya mind if we WAIT in the van?" said Shaggy, who was still in the Mystery Machine with Scooby.
Fred called them out. They exited the van. The gang opened the doors to the building And looked into the lobby.
"Jeepers! What happened here?" said Daphne. The room was a mess!
"Like I'll never understand creative types But I do groove on their style." said Shaggy
"Ree-Hee-Hee-Hee!" said Scooby
"So Where is this Jed dude?" said Shaggy
"Reah! Rhere?" said Scooby
"Jed! Ya here? It's me, Fred!" said Fred
"This place has been completely ransacked!" said Velma
"All right, Gang! Looks like we have another mystery on our hands!" said Fred "Let's split up and look for clues!"
"Like Let me guess. You, Daphne and Velma will go one way and me and Scooby will go another way!" said Shaggy "Come on, Scooby! Let's go!"
"HEY! I didn't say how we were going to split up!" said Fred
"Like do we ever do it any other way, Fred?" said Shaggy "Like, can we just look around?"
"Reah!" said Scooby
"All right, gang. Let's split up and search for clues." said Fred
The gang looked around for something that would help them find Jed.
Before Scooby knew it, all his friends were ahead of him.
"Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" called Shaggy
Scooby-ran to the sound of his owner's voice.
Scooby hopped on the steps and spotted Shaggy.
"Raggy!" said Scooby
"Hey, Scoob! Like all the Scooby Snacks in this room are making me hungry!" He said. There were Scooby Snacks all over the room. "I'll bet ya can't find all of 'em!"
"Rokay." said Scooby
Scooby soon found all the Scooby Snacks and he and Shaggy ate them.
"Raggy? Rhere rare the rothers?" said Scooby
"Velma and the others went that way." said Shaggy, pointing down a hallway
"Rokay. Rou Roming?" said Scooby
"Nah. You go on ahead. I'll catch up with ya later. Right now I think I'll just stand here and keep watch." said Shaggy
"Rall right." said Scooby
"Now why would anyone wanna make monsters, even fake ones?" said Shaggy
"Ronsters? Rhere?" said Scooby.
Scooby ran down the hall, jumped over a hole and saw Velma. She was in front of a closed door.
"Relma!" He said
Velma turned around and spotted Scooby with he glasses.
"Oh. Hi, Scooby." she said. "I was trying to figure how to open this door."
"Rhere rare Red and Raphne?" said Scooby
"They're already on the other side." said Velma "The door closed before I could follow them."
"Rand rou ran't rust rush rhem ropen?" said Scooby
"No. You can't." said Velma "That's the switch over there." she pointed at a big, red button "But I'm not sure how to reach it. There are these electric rays in the way" There were two blue electric rays in the way."
"Ro row ro re rurn rhem roff?" said Scooby
"Maybe there's a clue somewhere that will help us." said Velma "So first thing's first, Scooby-Doo! Let's find some clues!"
Scooby walked around and found a card. He walked back to Velma and handed her the card.
"Great! You found a clue." she said, taking the card. "It's some sort of key card. It must open up some restricted area. Hmm."
She slid it through a card slot near the electric rays. It turned them off.
"Bingo! Now Try and see if you can reach that switch, Scooby!" Velma instructed Scooby
"Rokay, Relma." Said Scooby. He ran over to the button, jumped on it and the doors opened.
"Great job, Scooby! I'll go show this clue with the others." said Velma. She walked away through the door. Scooby followed her.
Velma and Scooby walked the hall.
"Jinkies. Look at these costumes." said Velma. She saw a black hooded costume figure with a white mask. "Hey. This one looks like one of the Scare Pair Zombies."
"Reah." said Scooby, looking at where Velma was looking. He then turned and looked on his other side and saw a giant Green Pterodactyl!
"RIKES! RELMA! ROOK!" said Scooby
Velma looked at what the dog was showing her.
"JINKIES! A giant model of the Pterodactyl Ghost!" said Velma
Scooby backed up and he turned around and he slammed right into Velma! This sent her flying into a slide covered with a weird red, yellow and blue substance. She crashed into something.
"RELMA!" said Scooby. He over ran to see what happened.
"Hey, Velma! What's the big idea, knocking me off my feet?" said Fred
"Sorry, Fred." said Velma "Scooby got scared and knocked me over."
"Relma! Rare Rou Rokay?" said Scooby
"Yeah!" said Velma
"Rorry about rhat!" said Scooby
"Fred, Where's Daphne?" said Velma
"She went to investigate the workshop. Follow her down that zip line." said Fred
"Thanks." said Velma
By the time Scooby had slid down the slide, He saw Fred.
"Rey, Red!" he said, walking over to the boy
"Hey, Scooby! Velma and Daphne walked to see the workshop that way!" said Fred, pointing at a zip line
"Ruh?" said Scooby
"You'll have to slide that rope cable to follow them." said Fred
"Rall right, Red." said Scooby
"I don't see Jed anywhere. I don't like this! We need to find Jed and solve this mystery!" said Fred "You should follow Daphne and Velma, Scooby."
"Rokay!" said Scooby
He hopped up to the cable and slid down it. He found some food along the way. Then he slid down and found Daphne.
"Scooby. I'm so glad you're here. You've gotta help Velma." said Daphne
"Rey Raphne! Rhat's rong with Velma?" said Scooby
"Over there!" said Daphne, pointing at Velma in a corner on some crates trapped by some giant rats. "She's been corned by some huge hideous rats! See if you can scare them off!"
"Re Scare rhem? Ri'm Scared!" said Scooby
"Scooby! You've gotta help Velma." said Daphne "I'll give you some Scooby Snacks later."
"Rokay." said Scooby.
Scooby ran over and got rid of the rats. They were robots.
Velma hopped and said "Good job, Scooby! You defeated the rats! Or rather some robotic special effect rat like creatures."
"Ree-Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee!" said Scooby
"You did it, Scooby-Doo!" said Daphne "Jeepers! I though Fred's cousin Jed is all right."
Shaggy slid down the slide.
"Hey, gang!" said Shaggy
"Hey, Shaggy!" said Daphne and Velma
"Rey, Raggy!" said Scooby
The gang walked around.
Scooby found something strange. A weird device. He gave it to Velma.
"Hey! This looks like a radio beacon. Probably a homing device of some sort." said Velma.
Velma pressed a button. And two metal platforms moved out. Scooby hopped across them and hit a big red button. Two springy platforms appeared. Shaggy bounced them. Scooby ran over to them. He saw a giant monster costume. It was a big green sea monster.
"The Beast of Bottomless Rake!" said Scooby
The costume suddenly moved
"Rikes!" said Scooby. He saw Velma
"Hey, Scooby! Did you see that costume over there? It looks like the Beast of Bottomless Lake! Impressive!" said Velma
"Rit moved!" said Scooby
"Come on, Scooby! It didn't move! It's just a costume!" said Velma
"Rit did so!" said Scooby. He hopped the springy platforms after Shaggy.
"Hey, Scoob! Like have ya found any food? When ya do, Just look for me and my trust porta kitchen and I'll cook us up one of my delicious meals. Ha Ha Ha." said Shaggy
"Rokay!" said Scooby. He slid down another slide with the same weird red, yellow and blue substance. He walked across when suddenly some black suits of armour with hairs on their helmets appeared.
"Rikes! Rit's the Black Knight Ghost!" said Scooby
They were thousands of them. Poor Scooby was trapped! Then suddenly a voice shouted "Don't move!"
The Black Knights were melted away by strange UV lamps held by a man with brown hair and facial hair in a long-sleeved white and blue jacket, yellow shirt and red pants and a woman with blonde in a blue sleeveless shirt and green pants. Scooby was in a circle of the red, yellow and blue substance on the slides. Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy suddenly appeared.
"Like what mess did you get into, Scoob?" said Shaggy
"I call it Mubber." said the man "A remarkable soy based formula that can take any shape. And it only breaks down under UV light. Isn't that right, Marcy?"
"With Mubber, Mr. Stanton has perfected the most life like monsters ever!" said the woman
"And would you believe it even tastes good." said the man.
Scooby licked some mubber and said "Rummy!"
"My name is Winslow Stanton, The CEO and founder of Monstrous Fright and Magic. And creator of Mubber." said the man, This is my wife, Marcy." pointing at the woman
"Hello." said Marcy
"Now Who are you kids and dog?" said Winslow
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Stanton." said Fred "I'm Fred Jones and these are my friends Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo!"
"So Fred, What are you and your friends doing at MFM exactly? Specifically in this very room, which is for authorized MFM personal only?" said Winslow
"We're friends of Jed Jones! Well I am. He's my cousin. We're here to visit him but we can't-" said Fred
"JED?! How Dare You speak of that thief to me?" said Winslow
"Thief?" said Fred
"Look around, Fred! Your cousin caused all this so he could steal my creation!" said Winslow "He re-programed the animatioratic monsters and now they're attacking people!"
"The animatioratic made here at MFM normally couldn't hurt anyone even if the wanted to. But Someone has sabotaged them! And my husband thinks it's an inside job!" said Marcy
"Even it is a MFM employee, How can you be sure it's Jed?" said Velma
"Because He's missing, And so is my mubber, some UV lamps and animatioratics. That's all the proof I need." said Winslow
"Mr. Stanton, I don't believe Jed would EVER do such a thing. Someone must be framing him!" said Fred
"Does Jed have anyone who hates him?" said Velma
"Other than me? I don't know." said Winslow "And even if he does, They ain't telling it." said Winslow
"Don't worry! We'll get to the bottom of this mystery!" said Fred "Come on, Gang! Let's find my cousin and clear his name!"
"Winslow, Marcy, Do you have any idea where Jed could have gone?" said Daphne
"Now you mention it, He had a delivery to Chinatown for the new year's parade." said Marcy
"And an amusement park." said Winslow
"And a museum." said Marcy
"Come on, Gang!" said Fred "Let's go!"
"I guess you kids have done this stuff before." said Winslow
"Yep." said Shaggy "In fact, the whole reason We're here is, like, because Fred told Jed he could use some of the monsters we met on our past mysteries as animatioratic!"
Fred, Daphne, Velma and Scooby looked at Shaggy.
"Oh, really? So this armagodn is partly your faults. Well, then. Okay, Fred. If You and your friends can't prove Jed's in connect, than not only will I have him locked up in jail for the rest of his days, but I'll tell the police you were in league with him and make you join him as his partners in crime!" said Winslow
"WHAT?" said the gang
"Now hold on!" said Daphne
Winslow just looked at them blankly.
"Nevermind." said Daphne.
They walked away.
"Shaggy! Why would you tell him that?" said Daphne
"What? How was I supposed to know he'd say that?" said Shaggy
"We'd solve this mystery, gang!" said Velma "Or we're going down!"
"Reah! Downtown?" said Scooby
