"Jennifer, oh my god. Just pick up your phone!" Penny screamed into her phone as she fell down onto her couch, with tears streaming down her face.

She snuggled into her pillow, with Sex in the city playing on her TV, as she waiting; very impatiently for her best friend to reply. Almost an hour later, their was rapid knocking on her door. She slowly dragged her feet, in her bunny rabbit slippers to the door, and opened it. It was Jennifer standing on the other side, in a panic, puffed from hurrying to see Penny.

"Oh my god, what's up?" she said, pulling Penny into a very deep hug.

Penny's only reply was "what took you so long?"

"Sorry, I was packing and I was out of phone credit. I received like 10 different messages and missed calls from you, so I thought I better come over. It was quite ironic, I ran into Leonard and Sheldon as I was running over here, and almost made them fall down the stairs."

Penny's unamused face proved to Jennifer that something very serious.

"Seriously, what's up?" Jennifer said, as the two sat back down on her couch.

"Jennifer" Penny said, as Jennifer could of cut the tension with a knife at that very point.

"Yes, what, tell me." Jennifer said, almost jumping out of her skin, as tears began flowing down Penny cheeks once again.

"I am 6 days late for my period."

There was silence in the room, until this was broken by the snuffling of Penny's nose.

"Okay, so sometimes that's normal?" Jennifer said, trying to make the best of this. "But in worst of worst situations, who was the last guy you were with?"

Penny starred at her, with a blank look on her face.

"Okay, but we don't even remember if that happened. Who was before that?"

"Kurt. But that was like 7 months ago."

"Well just because it hasn't come yet, doesn't mean that your pregnant, has it ever been this long before?"

Penny shook her head indicating 'no'.

"Well, look just to be sure, Penny; take a pregnancy test."

Penny once again broke down in tears.

"Look, I'll run to the store and get one, you stay here."

A puffed Jennifer burst through her apartment door, as Penny stood up, snatched what she was holding in her hand off her and went into the bathroom.

"God, what took you so long, I've had to pee for so long."

Jennifer just ignored her, and sat on the couch with her head in her hands. About 5 minutes later, Penny emerged from the bathroom.

"We have to wait 30 minutes"

Penny went to her bedroom to sleep, while Jennifer waited anxiously in the lounge room.

It was just seconds until Penny had drifted off to sleep…

"Guys, do you really want to do this?" Leonard said, as he was being pinned against the bed by the two girls.

"Yeah, come on, don't be a party pooper, have some more drinks"

The two girls whispered to each other, "are you ready", they laughed.

"Hold on, I have protection in my wallet"

"Pfft, we don't need that. We have…"

Jennifer shook Penny awake.

"It's ready, I haven't looked." Jennifer said, whispering into Penny's ear.

"I can't look Jenny, please tell me."

"Okay, but before I look, lets just talk about it, you and Leonard. We have two options, you're not pregnant. Which would be good, also sad, but mainly good. Or, that you are pregnant with someone's baby. We presume Leonard, cause you know. But we never know. So, I will know check the test."

Jennifer walked into the bathroom, grabbed the test, without looking and returned to the bedroom.

She turned it over, "Its, its umm.."

Penny woke up alone, but she knew today was the day she has to talk to Leonard. She had to.

'Hey Leonard, can you come over today? Or do you have a lecture? You know what, you are probably busy. Did you want me to come over? Oh right, you're busy. Okay, just never mind then, I'll see you tomorrow then? Oh, I work. It's really okay. Its not important."

For the first time, Penny was awkward when talking to Leonard. Normally that was his thing.

'Penny, chill. I can come over now. I'll see you soon.'

As Penny's phone buzzed, and she read what she had said, immediate tears started to for in her eyes. How could she tell him, he probably wouldn't even care, its not like they are together, and that he had to know everything that went on in her life.

In just under 15 minutes, Leonard was at the door. Tears still continued to fill her eyes, as she filled her mouth with loads of Cadbury chocolate.

A few knocks were heard repeatedly on her wooden door, causing her to drag herself out of her bed, opening the door to see Leonard standing there. Like always, in his hoodie and green recycling t-shirt. Man, did he ever wash that thing.

"What's up?" he said, concerned as his smile was wiped clean of his face at the sight of tears in Penny's eyes. "Seriously Penny" Leonard said, walking forward and pulling her into a hug. "Is everything okay?"

Penny's sniffles became louder and more frequent, as she still could not manage to bring words together into a sentence to express her feelings.

"I have something to tell you…" was the first thing she could manage.

"Anything" Leonard said, kissing Penny on the forehead, as he guided her towards the couch.

"Okay, I know it's been very awkward since the other night, and I don't want it to be."

"Okay.."

"In saying that," Penny tried to say, without breaking down. She couldn't help it, and fell into Leonard's shoulder.

"Look, just close your eyes and tell me what's up. You are really starting to freak me out. Don't tell me you are moving away with Jennifer." Leonard managed to get a small chuckle and smile out of Penny.

"Oh yeah, and why would it matter if I moved away with Jennifer?" Penny joked, snuggling back into Leonard's shoulder.

"I'd miss you."

"You would?" Penny said, lifting her head.

"Leonard, I'm.."

Penny was stopped by the forceful kiss from Leonard. Their lips locked, fuelled with lust and passion. Once they broke, Penny face broke into a huge smile.

"Sorry" Leonard said, as he realised that Penny was in the middle of saying something when he had that outburst.

"It's nothing"

"Well it obviously is, otherwise you wouldn't of tried to tell me in the first place." Leonard said, cupping Penny's face in his hands, and kissing his forehead.

"Leonard.."

"Yes"

"Leonard, I'm pregnant."

Leonard's face went blank. "Okay"

"Look, just let me explain" Penny exclaimed, once again in tears.

"You don't have too, I am here for you, and I am not going anywhere. Penny, it's going to be okay, and I will always be by your side, through thick and thin. No matter what."
