Chapter 15

"I honestly can't believe you are actually leaving me" Penny cried into Jennifer's shoulder.

"You told me too!" Jennifer laughed, although it wasn't a real laugh. As excited as she was, to be starting her new life; in a new country, she couldn't bring herself to be happy about the fact that she was moving 30,000 kilometres away from her best friend of twenty something years, and even worse that she was pregnant.

As the two best friends stood at the airport, both with goose bumps and tears in their eyes. The final call blared over the pa; "First call for flight 1067 American Airlines to Brisbane, Australia at departing 0950. Please make your way to Gate 77, final call will be announced in thirty minutes. Thank you."

Penny immediately wrapped her arms around Jennifer's arms, as she attached her hand to her one carry on suitcase.

"I am totally not going to cope without you, Jen. But in saying that, I hope you have the best time ever. I am totally jealous."

"I better go, but you look after yourself and bub. Don't let Leonard hurt you in anyway, physical or emotional. I know he wont, he's not like the other guys, and he's good for you Penny. Just tell me that you will always be happy."

"I love you so much, Jen."

Tears flowed down Penny's face as her best friend grabbed her suitcase, and grabbed her hand. As she slowly took steps away, their hands parted. Penny turned away.

Penny watched as Jennifer boarded the plane from the window, and then watched the plane take off. She sat in the visitor seats at the edge, as Jennifer's plane went into the air.

"Penny, I'm so sorry"

A familiar voice was heard from behind her. Moments later, arms were wrapped around her hips. She immediately knew who it was, and turned to enjoy the comfort.

"Leonard, why are you here? Shouldn't you be at work?" Penny asked, pulling him closer to her. The comfort from her amazing boyfriend instantly made her feel better.

"I took the rest of the day off work and caught a cab down here, I had a feeling that you wouldn't want to be alone, and I couldn't let you be sad. So, I'll drive you home, we will get a tub of ice cream; and spend the arvo and night on the couch watching Sex in the city. Yeah?"

"You are amazing… Let's go"

Leonard escorted Penny to her car, and opened the passenger door for her. The two enjoyed a quiet fifteen minute drive back to North Los Robles road, until they pulled up at the front of Leonard's apartment.

"Did you want me to drive you to your apartment? I can catch a bus back?"

"No, no definitely not; could I possible stay the night? I really don't want to spend the night alone."

"Of course, Sheldon's has a conference thing at the train store tonight, so we will have the apartment to ourselves for a while."

"All I want to do is snuggle, I can't believe she is gone Leonard. We have never been apart in twenty-two years, and all of a sudden, she is 30,000 kilometres away from me. I know it's for the best, but I'm just going to miss her like crazy."

"That's understandable. Let's go upstairs."

Penny and Leonard entered the lobby of his apartment block and made their way up the four flights of stairs.

"You know, if I move in next door, and when I am forty weeks pregnant, this is going to be the biggest and hardest exercise I've ever done."

"It's okay, you're about 15 weeks right? So I have about 25 weeks to go to the gym so I can carry you down the stairs…" Leonard joked, as he puffed his chest out and pulled Penny into a hug.

"You're perfect, just the way you are."

When they reached the fourth floor, Leonard unlocked the door to his apartment as Penny just walked straight in and plonked down on their brown leather couch.

"Do you think Sheldon will be able to sense if I sit in his spot?" Penny asked, trying to put as much percentage of her body in to one spot on the couch.

"I did see him once sit on a bunch of change and count it, so probably!" Leonard laughed, as he sat down next to Penny on the couch, wrapping his arms around her, and turning on the television and having Season 2 of Sex In The City pop up on the screen.

"I've seen this season already" Penny whinged.

"This is the only one that I have, it came in this huge box of sci-fi movies we bought. Sheldon and Howard wanted to burn it, but I just put it in my room. I knew all girls liked this, and lets face it, you love it." Leonard laughed, as he turned to Penny and kissed her lightly on the cheek.

"Is that all you've got?" Penny laughed, reattaching herself to Leonard's lips and pulling his body onto of hers.

The two hummed in synchronicity, as they kissed. Penny broke the kiss for a moment, to focus on the TV.

"Is there something you would rather be doing?" Leonard joked, noticing her immediate focus on the television screen.

"Oh sorry" she laughed, once again connecting her lips to her beautiful partners.

"I thought we were going to watch tv?" Penny mumbled, mid kiss; not separating her lips.

"This can be counted, I guess."

"Not if we went to the bedroom" Penny immediately shot back, indicating Leonard to grab her hand and lead her to the bedroom.

"Why are you so eager?" Leonard asked, as they walked down the hallway.

"My answer should be, 'because you turn me on', but it's actually hormones. As much as they suck, they do have their benefits."

"So you've just started your second trimester right?"

Penny nodded in agreement.

"About 14 weeks, so its about the size of a lemon, and has a fully functioning brain, let's hope he's smart like me, but beautiful like you."

"Someone's been doing their research" Penny laughed, as they sat down on his bed. "Why do you think it's going to be a 'he'?"

"I just have a feeling." Leonard replied, as he pulled off his shirt, and put his glasses down on his bedside table.

"Eager?" Penny joked.

"Definitely!"

And with that, the pregnancy talk was gone. It wasn't long before the two were kissing, and the heat of the moment surrounded both of their bodies.

Penny pulled off her shirt, as Leonard unlatched her maternity bra, learning from last time that the clip was in the front, and dodged the risk of being embarrassed again. The fabric fell away rather quickly, to reveal Penny's hard nipples, in which Leonard took no time at all to take them into his mouth, eliciting many moans from Penny's lips. A noticeable bulge formed in Leonard's pants, as Penny undid his belt whilst he was preoccupied.

Penny unleashed his manhood from his plain black boxers.

"Where's the superman ones?" she chuckled, stroking his length in her hand.

"What? I think they are cute."

"Yeah fine" Leonard said, cutely annoyed by the conversation. He paused for a moment, from what he was doing, and just enjoyed Penny's menstruations with her hands. As Penny enjoyed her current task, Leonard rubbed his hands over Penny's pants, and flicked his fingers at the top of her underwear, wriggling his hands underneath the tight material.

Moans escaped Penny's lips, as Leonard undid the single button and wormed the tight material off her beautiful legs, revealing a plain pair of bonds underpants.

"Fyi, the further into this pregnancy, the uglier and bigger these underpants are going to get, enjoy the plain ones why they last!" She laughed, watching Leonard's every move.

Once the fabric was gone, it wasn't long before Leonard found his fingers grazing across the top of her folds, instantly causing gasps to escape, as he stuck a finger into her. The wetness that seeped from her covered his fingers and he bent his neck over to have his lips meet.

Penny took his length into her mouth, surprising Leonard immensely, as a small dribble of precum seeped from the top.

"Penny…" Leonard winced.

Leonard fell on the bed next to his girlfriend, wiping the sweat beads from his forehead.

"Wow" was all Penny could manage to say. Leonard, who had rolled over and taken six breaths of his puffer, was still managing to regain one hundred percent consciousness after blacking out for a split second.

"What brought that on?" Penny whimpered, her heart almost beating out of her chest.

There was no answer, as Leonard got up to pee.

Five minutes later he returned.

"Do you know how hard it is to be with a hard on? It's like a full pelt fire hose."

"I can imagine!" Penny laughed, as she also used the bathroom after Leonard.

As she returned to bed, it was only 8pm. They both enjoyed each other's company, sharing stories from before they met. And talked about their future together.

"How much longer to you have with your degree?" Penny asked.

"I'll be a fully qualified experimental physicist in three more weeks, which is pretty scary!" Leonard said, running his fingers over Penny's belly. "I've applied for a few jobs, one as a full time at Caltech, which is like my dream job, which would be truly amazing, but they only had one position available, with like 57 applicants, so the chances of that are slim. How's your degree, in Medical?"

"It was great, but I just put it on pause once I found out, I'll go back once I feel up too it."

"Thanks for an amazing night, you are the best!" Penny said, rotating her body to face Leonard. "Goodnight"
