Hey everyone! Sorry about how late the update is! I've been dealing with some problems lately, I recently moved and I've been trying to get a job where I live now to pay off my medical bills heh. But don't worry my lovely readers Kate will return to herself soon, her aging is starting to slow down as she gets closer to her age :) Anyways I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!
"Again!" Ash commanded from the training room, everyone on the immediate crew came to watch her train Kate. Tali was murmuring incoherent words under her breath, Garrus was watching nervously his mandibles twitching and he was wringing his hands. Joker was, well, he was making bets on who would win. Javik had rolled his eyes earlier but watched with interest on how the situation would go and what the outcome would be. Chakwas stood at the ready with a first aid kit just in case the young Shepard would get hurt. Edi had surmised based on the facts and a scan she had taken of the now 18 year old Kate that even though Ash had the toned body from experience when it would come down to it, Kate would win. So far Kate had been punching a sand bag while Ash spotted her.
"Just shut up and spar with me already!" She punched the bag hard enough to let the seam rip and a trail of sand started trickling out. She was slightly out of breath and her long hair that was braided now was frayed and had loose ends sticking out. Garrus was amazed at how determined she was, she was wobbling slightly trying to catch her breath. She looked worn out but still stood her ground and was determined to spar with Ash.
"You sure Kate?" Ash moved away from the sandbag to make space.
"Yes!" She moved from the bag and took a fighting stance, her eyes could've been ablaze with the look she gave her opponent. They all could feel the intensity from the sidelines. She hurled herself at Ash and was immediately flipped over and onto the ground. Ash smirked but it was short lived as Kate shifted herself and swept her leg behind the others knocking the triumphant woman down onto her back. Then she pounced like a varren on its prey, her hands became a flurry of hits on Williams.
"Heh, put them in bikinis and throw in some mud and we could sell a video of this for a lot!" Joker chuckled then stopped immediately seeing the glare and slight possessive growl he earned from the turian beside him. He hid behind Edi and Tali. "Looks like the sticks back up his ass." He muttered under his breath.
"TIME!" Kate jumped off Ash, her breathing was labored now and she was even more shaken than before. Garrus rushed to her side and lent her support.
"Thanks Vakarian, you always have my six." She managed a smirk and he couldn't help but grin. She was slowly returning to herself, he nuzzled her hair and breathed in her scent.
"You punch like a krogan. Wrex would be proud." A half chuckle came from Ashley as Liara helped her up, they could already see slight bruises started to form around her face and arms. Her lip had been split from one of the punches and a slight trickle of blood had dried on her chin.
"So we agree I should be let back into the field?" Kate looked over all her crewmates and lastly her eyes landed on Garrus.
"I think we're all in agreement here that you can still kick Williams ass captain." Joker grinned playfully as her crew nodded.
Whew! Sorry this chapter is another short one, partly I think i'm just making suspense for you guys about when she's going to return to her original age, I may change the rating and make it higher for the future chapters since as Kate ages so will her hormones so there may be some suggestive themes later :D I am so happy with the way this fic is going, thank you everyone who has followed this fic and added it to their favorite list.
