CHAPTER 19

The gate activated and radio signals were sent through, however, no one responded. They sent a M.A.L.P through to see what was going on, only for Walter to say the M.A.L.P. was on its side. And the camera was unable to move since it was in the dirt, but enough light from the active gate above proved the gate was on its side, other than from the readings they got as well. Figuring it was more than likely another weather and tectonic problem, they tossed a ladder through to one side and SG-1 and SG-8 went through, with Doctor Lee since Major Carter was on another planet. A portable generator to activate the gate was brought along with some tools to also get the gate standing again.

"I see no evidence of them around Colonel O'Neill." Teal'c said as he peered over the lip of the dirt hole they were in.

"Well, there is the remains of a campfire." Daniel said. "Can't see any signs of other weather problems that might have made them leave."

"You guys start getting the gate up." Jack said as he waved at SG-8. "Lee, get the generator going so we can call home."

"O'Neill." Teal'c said as he knelt by the camp fire.

"What did you find Teal'c?" Jack asked as he and Daniel walked up.

"I believe they were taken by the Goa'uld." Teal'c said as he stood and showed a stun grenade.

"Great." Jack grumbled. "And diplomatic relations between people on other planets weren't bad enough. Now it will be with someone associated with the Queen of England. Any idea who it was Teal'c?"

"No O'Neill." Teal'c said.

"Maybe this is a good thing." Daniel said making basically everyone look at him. "Think about it, what happened last time when they got caught."

"I'd like to say, go vampire girl and immortal boy, but even if and more than likely when they get themselves free, if they haven't already, how are they going to get home?" Jack asked.

"Oh." Daniel said as he realized that particular problem. "That is going to be a problem."

"Ya think?" Jack asked sarcastically, which Daniel and the rest of SG-1 was more than used to. "Teal'c, think they were captured and still on this planet or were taken to another one?"

"I am unsure. However, since this planet was checked by your flying device before and by SG-7, which showed no signs of anyone been around for quite some time, I would surmise they were taken through the gate, if not by ship." Teal'c said.

"Okay, let's see if the Tok'ra know anything, if they will help at all." Jack said. "I am so not looking forward to reporting back on this."

"This is terrible news." General Hammond said as he sat at the head of the table with SG-1, shaking his head. "While I agree with you Colonel that they more than likely have gotten free, I can't see how they can get home. They know their codes would instantly be locked out and considered compromised. Despite who they are, we can't make any exceptions."

"What are we going to tell Sir Integra?" Daniel asked.

"More like who's going to tell her." Jack said.

"I will." Daniel said. "She knows me more…"

"I hopefully will not regret this, but bring her here Doctor Jackson. I would like to speak to her in person and explain the situation." Hammond said.

"It that really wise sir?" Jack asked. "I know she has clearance and all…"

"Colonel, the woman has been fighting monsters since she was a child, and lives with Dracula, as unbelievable as it still sounds when I think about it. If not for Officer Victoria showing us such creatures exist, I'd think it was crazy talk. And with all that happened with that attack on England, which was centered around her and her organization, I don't think her seeing this place and learning more is going to faze her much." Hammond said. "If anything, her ire towards what has transpired is what I am worried about."

"Good point." Jack said.

"While I make a call to the President about this, you go down and see if you can get a hold of the Tok'ra Colonel. Let them know what is going on, but keep the vampire info to yourself, unless they bring it up or is absolutely necessary to divulge." Hammond said. "Dismissed."

An hour later, Sir Integra, in a dark green suit, was being drove up to the mountain in a Rolls Royce from the British embassy nearby. She had been driven there by one of the helping hands, who went back home seeing as Integra intended on being brought back by the General in his own car. The guards were surprised at seeing her, despite knowing who she was, or was at least told. Walter, (not SGC), stayed behind to take care of Lance while she was gone, even though part of her wanted to bring him, she knew it wouldn't help her maintain her image as it were. When dealing with politics and the military, even though it was a foreign countries military, she needed to be able to express herself as she wanted and not have to hold back like usual when Lance was around.

He'd understand much later in life, but right now wasn't a good time. Besides the fact he was young and didn't need to be talking about being in a place with aliens. As it were, he was used to talking about his sister being a vampire and his father an undying man. Rarely being told to not say anything about that aspect of his life, he would have talked to anyone about the alien thing.

Certain members of the Round Table that came to the Hellsing Mansion were not privy to the details of Stargate Command and only knew the General worked for the U.S. military in some fashion but were not allowed to know the full details, despite their objections. Which is where the Queen came in making them back off. So, Lance was left with Walter, who was playing with the General's vast Lego collection, or the blocks in particular and not what he had created and on display, which was totally off limits to everyone but him. Seras understood the infatuation he had, more as feeling and was not offended by him wanting them left alone only to him.

Getting onto the second elevator taking them down, she suddenly felt the urge to have a cigar despite not having had any for awhile. Chalking it up to stress and frustration, she maintained her commanding composure and posture, so much so, the guard escorting her down keep his eyes straight ahead but was easy to see he was nervous about the job. She refrained from suddenly turning and saying boo to the poor man, even though it crossed her mind. Chalking it up again to having seen the General and Seras play peek a boo with Lance when he was much younger, and she did it as well when no one was around, must be why it was a sudden impulse she quickly pushed down. Could have also been the fact Alucard liked sneaking up on the General and saying it, just to make the man jump. Did it in front of her a few times, well before her marriage issue came up, and has since stopped with Lance around.

Daniel was waiting by the elevator when it opened on the 28th floor, which he saw the guard sigh in relief when she stepped out. She sharply turned to look at him, which he snapped to attention quickly and saluted quick enough he must have hurt himself.

"Ma'am, Doctor Jackson." he said quickly before pushing a button to another floor.

"Hmm. Even in another country and dealing with aliens, I still radiated that commanding fearful presence." Integra said with a mild smirk that she rarely let herself have. "As the General once said, but alas I cannot recall the situation of which, I still have it."

"Yeah, I'd say you do. He really wanted to take off. Quite a few men on the base here have trouble being in the elevator with Seras if the General isn't in their too." Daniel said. "Hello Sir Integra."

"Doctor Jackson." Integra said as she followed him. "There will be no need to give me a tour. I am not here nor interested in that."

"I understand perfectly. I'm quite sure that you have seen better bases and other places with better views." Daniel said as they walked the way that made them walk pass General Hammonds office instead of the stairs that came from the control room. "General Hammond, this is Sir Integra Wingates Fairbrook Hellsing."

"Sir Integra. I wish we were meeting under different circumstances." Hammond said as he gestured to one of the chairs after shaking her hand. He already knew from Daniel, Seras the General and from her during phone conversations, that she did not like being addressed as Miss Hellsing.

"I agree." Sir Integra said as she sat down and Daniel sat on the opposite side after giving her a cup of tea he knew she would want, while he got a cup of coffee. "Doctor Jackson only gave me a brief description of what has happened."

"As you already know, they were sent on what was suppose to be a routine mission of exploration on a planet we did not think had any hostiles. When they last reported in, we were getting ready to send people in to help after the quake and weather problems they encountered but survived. Unfortunately, when our people got there, they were gone. Evidence shows they were taken by the Goa'uld. Sadly, we don't know which one but are asking allies in hopes they know something." Hammond stated.

"I almost pity the people who have taken them." Integra said as she took a drink. "Now, how are they going to be able to get back home is what I need to know."

"That is, difficult for us at the moment as well. Even if they still have their G.D.O.'s, they know that their codes have been cancelled. It's standard in the event our people are captured." Hammond said.

"I do understand the policy, even though we at Hellsing never have used it. However, you forget who Seras is General Hammond. There is no way to brainwash her. Nor the General since she and him are connected. And even if one of the two teammates with them was taken over, Seras would know it right away." Integra said.

"She has a point General." Daniel said. "And being Immortal, short of hypnotizing, which would be difficult to being with, I can't see any form of brainwashing happening. Even if something happened that made him loose his memory, with Seras's abilities, she'd be able to delve into his mind far enough to get them back. And our bodies just kill the Goa'uld if they get in us. At least the more strong willed and or long lived."

"Hmm. I didn't think of that. Sir Integra, I am sorry to ask this, but if something happened to him, as to he was truly killed, what would happen? I mean as to right now with this situation of their capture." Hammond asked.

"You have heard the saying, Hell have no fury like a woman scorned." Integra said as Hammond nodded. "Those enemies would be wishing they had done that instead. Sadly, she would loose total control I believe. Their connection to each other is so great, I have yet to ever seen them argue about something. Could be their connection that keeps them from having arguments or because the General tends to back down from arguments, at least when women are involved. I say that from personal experience as well, which I sometimes hate because I actually feel like I lost what would have been a great argument. Continuing on, there would be no one left alive on that planet, there would only be enemies and prey before her. Even I would have difficulty if she was before me. Only Alucard would be able to stop her, seeing as I doubt these people who have her even understand how to fight true Nosferatu."

"I sincerely hope and pray that that doesn't happen." Hammond said.

"And I as well. I will understand if you wish to end her employment here, considering that being a vampire could be considered a liability. The General would also leave, that I am certain." Integra said as she finished her tea.

"I will discuss it with them when they return and see what they want to do. Even though part of me agrees with you on that, it would be unfair to them both to make that decision since the same situation can be said for your organization." Hammond said.

"That I am well aware of all too well. Her Majesty has asked the same question. I only look at it as being able to be dealt with seeing as I have Alucard to deal with that issue if it arises." Integra said. "General Hammond, there is something you and your people may not be aware of, unless Seras has told you already. As you know, being a vampire, she needs to drink in order to survive."

"I've seen her eat real food as well." Hammond said.

"Why she is able to eat, certain foods I add, we are still unsure, but that is not important. What is, is that she has only taken blood from one person, and that is him. Drinking blood from blood bags is not the same, as to the power gained from taking it directly from the victim. Alucard has said more than once that Seras is immensely powerful, enough so he would find her a challenge, one he wishes for but is denied. Her drawback is she does not know how to use all her abilities, so she isn't a threat to him, but that is neither here nor there. My point here is, if the unfortunate happens as you just asked, and she lost control, her power would increase much more greatly with each victim she took." Integra stated.

"Enough so that if she ever managed to get off that planet…" Daniel said in realization.

"While I do not know everything about what is out there, nor really caring to unless you come across any of the creatures my organization fights, I can not think of anything that would stop her, other than Alucard, if she somehow returned here. And even then, it might be a problem for him." Integra said and just as suddenly raised a hand to her chin in thought. "Hmm, maybe I should see about getting her sealed, in case that situation arises."

"While I agree that would be best just in case, doesn't that limit her really heavily?" Daniel asked.

"It can, but only as much as I enforce." Integra said. "General Hammond, I have thought about this on and off and I must thank you for helping me figure this out, despite the seriousness of things right now. When they return, I will explain this situation to them. Knowing Seras, she will understand and agree to being sealed, to prevent herself from becoming what she despises."

"No offense to either of them, but I know it would be best, if not only for the people of Earth, but for everyone out there." Hammond said. "Now, can you explain this sealing thing you spoke of in better detail? We're not looking to try and use it, not that I can think of any way we could to begin with, and I promise we will not tell anyone, I would just like to know what it is. In case anything arises with her or we encounter anything off world that is similar."

"I would be glad to General Hammond. Short of myself, the General and a few people I will keep to myself, even if you had plans to use the seals, you would not be able to undo the seals I have put in place on Alucard, if that was your or anyone else's intention. Doctor Jackson, could I trouble for another cup please?" Sir Integra asked.

"I've got one of the Tok'ra sir." Walter said as the meeting was still going on upstairs.

"Who is it?" Jack asked.

"Anise." Walter said as Jack grimaced and said put her on.

"Colonel O'Neill." the lady, Anise, said on the screen. "It is a pleasure to see you."

"Yeah, same here." Jack said with a fake smile as he saw her smirk. "I'm calling to ask for help in a serious matter. About some of our people who have been taken."

"I see." Anise said with a frown. "What is it you are hoping the Tok'ra can help with? As much as we would like to help in a rescue, having our spies make such an attempt may be impossible as you are aware."

"Yeah, we already took that into consideration. These particular people are three females and one male. The guy and one of the ladies are more than capable of getting themselves free. So much so, they may take out the Goa'uld and who only knows what else. My point here is, can you find out any information about hearing of any of our people by those descriptions and where? When they get free, which I am sure will take place, if not already, them getting back home will be difficult because this is their first time out and more than likely, they may not know where to go for help or to try and get back here." Jack said.

"Hmm, you are very sure of them being able to escape so easily and kill the Goa'uld at the same time?" Anise said with intrigue. "Assuming this to be true, if one of our own people was there, that would mean they would be in danger as well. I need to know more in order to be able to fully understand what makes you so sure of their abilities."

"Yeah, well, that's the hard part of all of this." Jack said uneasily as he rubbed the back of his head.

"As I have heard from Selmak about a human phase he has used. Try me." Anise said.

"Oh boy. Um, how much as Selmak told you about some new people named Seras and a guy whose name is, General?" Jack asked as he rubbed the back of his head more.

"While we have heard the names, we know very little else." Anise said while apparently thinking about something. "Why? Is one of them like Doctor Jackson?"

"Well, the General guy is. He's apparently the oldest of them, some 6,000 plus years." Jack said.

"Hmm, that name seems to be very familiar. I have heard it before somewhere, but it has been quite some time. Another Tok'ra may know more, in which case this man would be very important to the Goa'uld." Anise said with worry.

"Yeah, one Goa'uld tried to take him over once and it failed. But it worked in his favor because he can now have children." Jack said.

"If the Goa'uld were to learn of this, he would…." Anise began when Jack cut her off.

"Yeah, bad news for everyone, especially if the Goa'uld managed to figure out how to take over Immortals without being killed by their ability." Jack said waving his hand. "He's not our major worry though."

"One of the females is?" Anise asked with a raised eyebrow. "What makes her so important over his abilities?"

"I'm not at liberty to say why, and even then, I'm not sure you would believe me anyway. Not even sure if you have ever heard of such a…person, since they seem to be exclusive to this planet. Strange sounding I know, but she only looks human." Jack said. "Look, I'll talk to General Hammond and, another person who can give me permission, and hopefully by the time you call back with what I hope to be good news, we may be able to tell you more."

"Colonel O'Neill. If we do know something and if what you say about this female being so, powerful and them being able to defeat the Goa'uld so easily is true, and if that has happened, or has yet to happen, I need to know, if one of our spies is there, what to look out for to be able to inform them." Anise stated.

"Um, remember those neat armbands…" Jack said after a moment of thought.

"Yes...?" Anise said unsure of where he was going.

"Think that, but a hell of a lot more powerful, more dangerous and a lot more deadly. But that being their natural ability with practically no time limit. I'll hopefully be able to explain better, since there is more to her than that, but I can't go into it." Jack said.

"If that is even true, the Goa'uld who has them…" Anise said with some worry, as she was beginning to think he was making it up, but wasn't sure since the Tauri did call.

"Yeah, even if this Goa'uld or any of them knew what she was, there is no way possible for them to take her over. Just trust me on this, even if she was willing to allow even a Tok'ra to let her be a host, it would be totally impossible." Jack said. "If it helps any, the General has control over her. Sounds strange, but it is not slavery or something like that."

"As Jacob has said before, I will take your word for it." Anise said with worry and great confusion. "I hope to learn something, if only to find out more of whom this female is and if what you say is true."

Daniel and Sir Integra were down in the commissary, waiting to hear from the Tok'ra that Jack spoke to an hour ago. Daniel offered to take her back to the General's house later, even if they heard anything. He'd stay the night there to bring her back tomorrow, in hopes they would be home the next day if not tonight.

When they awoke, Seras being the last, they found themselves in a room that was very dark. There was a light shining down from above and two dark couches of sort that were cut from some stone. They were like a large circle that had been cut and separated by a couple of feet. Lara had been the first to awaken and when she got close to the dark area and reached out, she hit a force field that zapped her. Her hand hurt for awhile and had awoken Teygan, who in turn woke up the General moments later. Seras awoken after the General had talked to her in his mind for a few moments, because she was pretty deeply asleep. She had been shot in the chest with a staff weapon and changed into a simple drab green shirt of basic woven design. The General gave his shirt to her which she was glad for since the thing they put her in was itchy, strangely enough. Teygan and Lara apparently had been put into a sarcophagus since their injuries were gone. As expected, everything they had on them was taken, jewelry included.

"Damn, they took my glasses." Lara muttered.

"Hmm, nice force field. Wish BG had this." the General said as he brushed his hand against it and ignored the feeling it gave him.

"Stop that please. I feel that too." Seras grumbled as she rubbed her head tiredly.

"Sorry." the General said as he sat down beside her. "Strange prison cell."

"Not really seeing as you can't get past the shield around us." Teygan said.

"Wonder why the darkness around us though?" Lara said. "Seras, what do you see?"

"A door on either side of the room. There is small things I guess that might be lenses in the corners of the room at the ceiling, but I can't be sure." Seras said glancing around.

"They must have done something else to you aside from taking off your shirt." the General said.

"Please, don't remind me." Seras grumbled as she yawned.

"Are you alright?" Teygan asked.

"Rather tired, and weak." Seras said with droopy eyes. "Damn, last time I felt like this was before I met you."

"Hmm." the General said as he thought. "The way this feels, is almost like when we were in the sun, back when I was turned."

"Yeah, it does." Seras said suddenly.

"You mean that light above…" Teygan asked.

"No, not the light." Seras said. "Don't feel like I could even burn, more like having the sun on me and draining my energy along with being over a lot of water at the same time, but without the nausea, thank god."

"The only thing that comes to mind is that we could possible be on a planet that has two suns." Lara said.

"Two suns?" Seras said with droopy eyes. "That might be the cause if that is the case. Oh man, I haven't felt this wiped out in some time."

"You're not hungry…" Teygan asked.

"No. I get the feeling even if I drank him dry, I'd still feel like crap." Seras said as she leaned against him and closed her eyes.

(No, not trying to be sexist here or anything like that for the following paragraph and any to follow on the subject. It is leading to something, which probably most of you will figure out.)

"Seras, what the hell was that back there?" the General asked as a thought occurred to him.

The look on her face was utter confusion as she turned to him and she was thinking to figure out what he meant despite how weak she felt.

"Sorry, I'm having trouble thinking straight…" Seras said as she shook her head.

"The whole, should be pregnant, mother and stamina thing…" the General said.

Seras started turning red as she was extremely embarrassed as the girls started laughing, despite their current predicament. Her feelings about it hit the General rather hard and he was suddenly wondering why in the hell he just brought that up.

"I don't know. After bringing up the whole honeymoon thing, and I guess in this case, the moon pun is intended in more ways that one, and we've been at it like rabbits sometimes…" Seras said as she just shrugged like it was nothing, only to slap her hand over her mouth so hard it was very audible.

"Are you alright?" the General asked concerned and then pointed at his head. "Up here?"

"With the telepathy thing you two have, maybe she can feel how tight your pants are…" Teygan said with a straight face that lasted a few scant seconds.

Both of them looked ready to run, which set them two off even more than before. Teygan was having trouble breathing and Lara kept saying for them to stop because she was afraid her ribs would break.

"What the hell is wrong with me?" Seras muttered as she leaned against him again and rubbed her forehead, ignoring the girls. "We never talk about this subject in front of anyone, even the doctors."

"Sure, a lot of newly married people go through this stage in the beginning. Well, not the talking part, but…." the General muttered as he trailed off and rubbed his eyes. "Usually I'm more focused than this…"

The two finally got their breaths back and weren't laughing anymore, and also realized that there was something wrong apparently, just by the tone, their expressions and the added fact they obviously forgot they weren't alone.

"Last few weeks, unless we were really focused on something important, all I could think about is getting you out of your pants…" Seras said.

"Just now realizing I've been doing the same." the General muttered. "Wait a minute. You've been redecorating our room and making plans of changes back in England…"

"Damn, I have been. Why am I realizing that now?" Seras said as she looked at her hands.

"Maybe it is a nesting instinct." Lara said.

They both looked up and remembered they weren't alone.

"While yeah, part of this is kinda funny, why aren't you laughing now?" the General asked sarcastically.

"Well, it was funny, and I'm hurting too much to want to again, but obviously, something is happening. I'm not even a novice on that sort of thing, but I agree with Lara." Teygan said.

"Even human mothers begin making plans that in most cases, they do knowing what is to come soon. Well, usually in nine months, but whatever the case, it just kicks in normally. Being what you are, maybe it is a slow progression. I have nothing to base it on…" Lara said trailing off.

"I have been thinking about baby stuff a lot. But being what I am, Alucard said if I was pregnant, I'd know it. And so would he." Seras said as she pointed a thumb at the General. "As would Alucard."

"I know this is going to be a very personal question, but you don't have your period anymore do you?" Lara asked.

"No thank god." Seras said with a sigh of relief. "I unfortunately was one of the heavy women."

"What the hell does that mean?" the General asked.

"What, six thousand plus years and you don't know how a woman's body works?" Seras asked in surprise making the other two snort as they kept from laughing.

"I know what the period thing is, but even with the wives I had over my long years, that particular aspect was something they didn't talk about. Other than saying go to the store or get me a towel, hanky or whatever." the General said.

(Did no research here and DO NOT plan on it. Just making it up, but suspect the number I give is lower. If it is higher, I really feel sorry for those women.)

"Some women are rather light when that time comes. I have always been, and thankfully not anymore, a heavy bleeder. Had to use up to four pads in one week most of the time. I guess the only thing I had going for me was none of the seriously bad symptoms other than being crabby because of how much I bled." Seras said. "Learned early on exercise helps alleviate it. Since I have always been rather active, I've been okay. Except for…well…"

(For this next part as to the Goa'uld, I'm basically making his appearance and some other stuff up. Except for his history I found somewhere online.)

They stopped talking when they heard a door open. Several Jaffa walked into the room and stood around the field, weapons ready but not pointed. One Jaffa that was the guy in charge, stood at the opening on one side, put his fist to his chest, then finger tips to the emblem on his forehead before bowing as someone other than a Jaffa came in. He was some tall male adorned in old Greek style armor and jewelry. His hair was rather curly and reddish like fire. He had a fire red cape that hanged from his right shoulder and some strange jeweled gauntlet on his hand.

"My Lord." the head Jaffa said as he bowed yet again. "These are the prisoners we have captured. They are the Tauri, but not SG-1."

"You have done well Tan'iku." the Goa'uld said. "Now, I will speak with the prisoners. Do nothing unless I command it."

"Yes My Lord." Tan'iku said as he bowed again, then stepped back several feet as did the rest of the Jaffa.

The Goa'uld put his hands behind his back as he walked around the open cell they were in, a couple of times before stopping where he started. Waving a hand, the field was dropped. Whether the Jaffa had expected anything to happen or not, they did not move. The Goa'uld did raise his eyebrows and then nodded slightly as he smiled before chuckling.

"I must admit, I am rather disappointed. I was expecting someone to try something." he said as he began walking around the open cell again. "I admit, I am a not one of the higher gods, but I am content with that. I may not have vast armies or territory, so I am not considered a threat to the other gods. That will one day be their downfall, which I look forward to seeing with much anticipation."

The group looked at each other, though Seras was still leaning against the General and trying to stay awake.

"I have watched your world for many hundreds of years. The fall of the place you call Rome was a devastating defeat. I only had some influence there at the time, and it made me realize what I needed to do in order to survive and one day rule this galaxy. As you humans say, I am biding my time. Being a god, I can continue to survive and prepare, but make myself seem lowly without also seeming worthless at the same time." the Goa'uld said, as he continued to keep walking around. "You may speak at any point, and if you are looking for some, opening as you humans say, to attack, it will not surprise me. As I said, I have watched your world for many years, studied your race exceedingly and understand why the rest of the Goa'uld are having so much trouble."

"Since you say it is okay, then I have some questions. Obviously." the General said. "First, who are you?"

"I am the god Hephaestus." Hephaestus said proudly.

"Who's he?" Teygan asked.

"Hephaestus, he's from Greek mythology, the god of fire and metalwork. Son of the god Zeus and the goddess Hera. Sometimes the son of Hera alone depending on what history you read. In contrast to the other gods, Hephaestus was lame and awkward." Lara said, only to cringe in fear suddenly as she realized what she said.

Hephaestus only laughed.

"A bold statement, but as an indulgence, I will admit it was once true. Only because I had taken a host with much intelligence but he had serious deforming scars, which was well worth the trade off, as you humans say. Please, continue. I wish to hear the rest." Hephaestus said.

"Um, shortly after his birth, he was cast out of Olympus, either by Hera, who was repelled by his deformity, or by Zeus, because Hephaestus had sided with Hera against him." Lara said.

"Also true. A mistake I shall never make again." Hephaestus said. "Continue."

"In most legends, however, he was soon honored again on Olympus and was married to Aphrodite, goddess of love, or to Aglaia, one of the three Graces. As the artisan among the gods, Hephaestus made their armor, weapons, and jewelry. His workshop was believed to lie under Mount Etna, a volcano in Sicily." Lara said. "Hephaestus is often identified with the Roman god of fire, Vulcan."

"I did at one time have a, workshop as you call it, in that place. I am still honored and known for making armor for the Goa'uld, weapons and jewelry as well. Sadly, another Goa'uld has taken credit for my works, but in time they shall fall, before me or another Goa'uld. It is how I am able to continue as the god I am, keeping my status and my survival as I continue to create what other gods ask for. One day, I shall rise above them all." Hephaestus said with a raised hand.

"Second question, are you trying to ask us for help?" the General asked, mostly to keep from hearing the guy continue to brag.

The Goa'uld laughed before glaring at them.

"A god does not ask for help, he gives orders. Orders that you will obey given time, or I shall endeavor to make your life very miserable, so much so you will beg for death or serve me." the Goa'uld said.

"Should have figured as much." Teygan said. "Might as well shoot me now, because I'd rather die than serve a pathetic bastard like you."

She never saw it coming when she was thrown out of the seat by a wave shot from his hand. Teygan flew through the air and hit the ground hard enough they heard bones break. Seras cringed mostly from the smell of the blood than from the fact she could feel that Teygan died on impact. Lara had gotten up, but only sank to her knees and stayed there, crying softly. Seras never moved other than jerking and the General only tensed up.

"Anyone else? Hmm. And I heard that the Tauri were better warriors." Hephaestus said, before continuing to walk around them again.

"I am a much better warrior than anyone you know." the General stated.

"You boast yourself well for someone who has yet to act on such a claim." Hephaestus said.

"A wise warrior knows when to fight and when to wait. I could easily take you on, but not even on your word would you fight fairly." the General said. "So trying it would be pointless."

"I can see you are a very well seasoned warrior. Perhaps later I will challenge you in such a deal." Hephaestus said.

"One I refuse to act on. Even if you threaten, torture or kill these ladies, I won't fight for your sick pleasure." the General stated.

He brought his hand up and then back down as the General didn't even flinched, nor did the girl leaning on him tiredly.

"I believe you would do nothing, leaving them to a horrifying death." Hephaestus said as he kept walking. "You seem like a very intelligent man as well. Tell me, what is the code for lowering the shield over the Chap'pai?"

"The what? Oh, right, the Stargate. Sorry, all the torture in the universe won't matter even if I gave you the sequence. Once captured, the codes change." the General said. "Which I now realize is going to be an even bigger problem since we have been captured."

"I already knew this information, and had expected a different answer." Hephaestus said as he waved a hand at a couple Jaffa.

Two of them went over and picked up her body and took it out of the room. Less than five minutes later, she was brought back in and set down on the floor, rather roughly and rudely. Lara went over and picked her up, setting her on the seat more comfortably.

"I can kill each of you over and over. While torturing can sometimes bring out information, there is a better and quicker way. Much less messy as well." Hephaestus said, still pacing. "Our sarcophagi have the miraculous power to bring back the dead. As I have had done to your lovely teammate. Going through it over and over, makes the person become wanting of such a miracle more. Which in turn makes them more loyal to my wishes. But it can be a long drawn out process on some people. Some though, the mind just goes and then, even when another Goa'uld takes them for a host, the person once there is totally gone already."

"Right, it's called addition issues. Not miraculous crap like you say." the General said.

"My Lord." a Jaffa that came into the room recently before the General spoke, said as he walked up.

"What is it?" Hephaestus said, only to nod when he was told whatever it was. "Fortune has smiled upon you, as another Earth saying goes. I am needed elsewhere currently. You should dwell on what your choices should be when I return, serve or die."

He let with the other Jaffa all following. Teygan suddenly sat up, grabbing her chest as she cried out for a moment and doubled over.

"Teygan! What it is?!" Lara asked as she knelt in front of her.

"Fuck that hurt! This is what phantom pain is apparently. Last thing I recall was being tossed and hitting the floor. I wish I could say I died instantly, but I felt several broken ribs in my chest, some sticking out and others in." Teygan said with a shudder, before sitting up and breathing deeply a few times. "Okay, I'm better now. Or will be, hopefully."

"Welcome to the strange experience of dying and coming back." the General said without thinking. "Phantom pain is a bitch and you never get used to it. You just deal with it."

Even Seras gave him a strange look as the other two sort of glared at him.

"What?" the General asked and then shook his head as he apologized. "Oh, right. Sorry, I wasn't thinking. It sounded better in my head, and I have told other…people of my persuasion, the same thing. Point was, I do understand what it feels like."

"How about we get out of here before he puts me and the rest of us through that shit again." Teygan said.

Whatever that had dragged Hephaestus away before seemed to be of extreme importance, enough so he didn't return that night. Other than being taken away three times, one of them each for bathroom needs, they were given bread and water, and told even less. Seras was unable to eat and just holding the water made her feel sick, so it was kept away.

The next day, SG-1, minus Carter, was in the gate room, along with Sir Integra, as they had recently been told by General Hammond that Anise had called back, by literally coming to the SGC. After some pleasantries and introductions, she spoke.

"We have found your people. They are prisoners of Hephaestus." Anise said as Daniel explained shortly after about the guy. "One of the girls was killed and then revived. His intention was to make them addicted to the sarcophagi in order to make them subservient and eventually, puppets, as the human saying goes. No doubt, given time, he may send them back here, but as assassins or something equally deadly."

"While I am sure it would work on the two unfortunate ladies, considering what I have been told by Doctor Jackson, I can say for certain it would not work on Seras or the General. I also can't deny I wish we had such a device, despite the side effects." Integra said, not at all surprised at the flashing eyes or voice change when the lady first arrived.

"I can sympathize with you in that regard Sir Integra." Hammond said as he leaned with his elbows on the briefing table. "Loosing people is never easy, but having such a device would be dangerous in the long run."

"Yes. Though I do wonder what it would do to a ghoul or vampire though." Integra muttered.

"I do not understand. I was told of this Seras being very special and you say that a sarcophagus would have no effect on her, if she died. How is that possible?" Anise asked.

"I have been told various things about the life outside of this planet and the various people, allies and enemies. While part of me is worried considering some of what I have been told, I am quite confident that if these Goa'uld and or other enemies came to our planet with the intent to do something with the information I am about to tell you, they would not succeed." Sir Integra said before taking a drink of her tea. "What I am about to tell you may or may not sound utterly impossible, but I can assure you, I do not lie."

"Anise, as you know, on this planet, the thought of alien life by many people is thought to be fiction, not real, a myth and that sort of thing. For you and the Tok'ra, and everyone that has encountered the Goa'uld, the fact they know there is life other than their own, is totally natural." Daniel said. "Seeing as us Tauri have never seen what she deals with daily on other planets much less heard of it, try to keep an open mind about what is going to sound rather unbelievable, unless you have heard of it."

"While I have told you my name, I did not say my full name, which carries a great deal of importance and weight to many leaders of this planet. I am Sir Integra Wingates Fairbrook Hellsing. A direct descendent of Abraham Van Hellsing himself. Doctor Jackson will give you some basic books on his history along with a copy of Bramstrokers Dracula. Most of it is real and what parts needed to be added in, Doctor Jackson can tell you later. What I have been dealing with my entire life, is fighting vampires. They are inhuman undead creatures of the night, literally. They feed on humans, and can for animals, but primarily on the blood of the living. Their greatest weaknesses is silver, blessed silver is best. Garlic, holy water and wooden stakes shoved into their dead hearts is another method. Vampires also do not appear on cameras, videos or in reflective surfaces." Integra said as the lady listened and didn't do much other than raise an eyebrow. "Are you with me so far?"

"I do admit, the thought of such a creature existing is hard to believe, but I do not sense that you would lie about something like this, since your people are in danger. You are saying this, Seras, is one of these dangerous creatures?" Anise asked.

"Yes. Many hundreds of years ago, vampires were around much more and caused many more deaths and problems. My family, as well as other blundering organizations have been tracking them down and killing them. Some are still alive, others are hiding and a few are employed by the Hellsing Organization. If you ever meet Seras Victoria, she can tell you about her experience if she wishes. There is a big reason why she is one of these vile creatures and yet, not evil at the same time. The General put it in perspective very easily, which makes total sense. Long ago, there was no technology and many of the things this planet has now days. Back then, life was much more, simple, and had little in the way of happy distractions. I speak of TV, games, and many of the other things and help keep wrong and evil temptations at bay, or sorts."

"Though I have seen a short amount of what you speak of, according to Jacob Carter, I do understand what you mean." Anise stated.

"Good. Presently, those vampires who want to do something in life instead of their nature, do so, but under strict supervision. Seras works for me, and General Hammond here when needed. Despite what she is, which she abhors, she keeps her humanity and refuses to give into her darker nature, despite the former master she had changing her, wishing she would be as evil and ruthless as him." Integra stated, with a small eye roll.

"I do understand her a lot more than you might think Sir Integra. The Tok'ra are unfortunately the same as the Goa'uld. However, we do not force ourselves on people or do the many evil things that the Goa'uld do. But, in order to survive, we must take a host and only do so with someone willing." Anise said. "Where we could easily turn and do many evil things, we do not do so."

"You do understand quite well in that regard, as I have also been told of your circumstances. The only major difference is the abilities and powers. A vampire literally takes their victims life and soul, once they drain them. If they are a virgin, they become a vampire themselves and almost instantly become the same creature they were bitten by. If they are not virgins, they turn to ghouls, under command of the vampire that took their lives. Literally living dead that cannot be changed back and will attack anything and anyone." Integra stated. "Anyone who is turned into a vampire, cannot be changed back. No science on this planet or anything out there in the universe has that ability, as far as I have been told. You will be given detailed reports of what we have seen, heard and studied, but I would find it a miracle if you managed to find a way to reverse the process. Which I highly doubt."

Anise began to open her mouth when Daniel spoke.

"Once you see the evidence we'll give you, you'll understand why even we doubt it is possible to change anyone back." Daniel said. "This is not something I believe a sarcophagus could change."

"I will reserve judgment then until I have seen these reports. I do have a question. If this Seras was changed by a evil vampire, how is it she is as she is?" Anise asked.

"I literally have complete command of the vampire that changed her. As I said, you can ask her why and such. Because he is under my total control, he was only able to save her, not give her orders of things to do, kill, and so forth. While she was still under his command, she continued to keep her humanity despite what he tried to instill into her. Eventually, she got her freedom, and is basically who she was before. Except for being a vampire. Once you read the material being given to you later, you may still not understand when I say, despite what she is, I would trust her to save me if even I was gravely injured, instead of attacking me despite the instincts that would no doubt be felt."

"I look forward to reading that material. If you say she is so powerful, why have they not already gotten free?" Anise asked.

"We are unsure. We have not heard much else from you yet to think about it further." Hammond said.

"They are on a planet deep in Goa'uld territory. Deep for Earth considering this location in the galaxy, but at the outer edges in a more unimportant area of space that is not watched as much as the others." Anise said. "This Goa'uld has been around for a very long time and rarely leaves his planet. We find it odd that he is even in possession of your people, much less the fact of him still having them. Why one of the System Lords themselves do not have them, we do not understand. It is possible he is keeping them secret, but his position in the Goa'uld hierarchy is extremely low."

"What would be our chances of sending a team?" Hammond asked.

"Even if you were able to send them, they would be taken or dead before they could try anything. The Stargate is in his fortress, where it is guarded constantly. He is always told when it activates, no matter WHAT he is doing at the time." Anise said, getting the point across rather quickly.

"What about the planet?" Daniel asked. "The climate, moons and such."

"It is more than capable of supporting life, though there is more of the planet that is arid and dry. There is no moons, though there is two suns, where the planet has very short nights…" Anise began.

"What?" Integra asked. "Did you just say two suns?"

"Yes." Anise said confused.

"Damn, this does present a big problem, and would explain why they have not escaped." Integra said as she rubbed her chin. "Another weakness of vampires is sunlight, which is why they are mostly nocturnal creatures. Seras has been used to the sun here, for quite a while. Having two suns, may be harder than she is able to take. She doesn't sleep like normal vampires very much, which I know for a fact does eventually get to her."

"Are you saying that the sun is draining her of her energy, something that even the General can not help her recover from?" Hammond asked.

"While I am sure that he can continue to keep her alive by giving her his blood, I do not think she will be able to even use half her power. I may not be smart in the worldly ways of science, but I do know about ultra violet rays being dangerous to vampires. There is areas of the world, such as death valley, were it would effect them more than being, say the rain forest." Integra said. "I know enough to also say that with what Anise described of the planet having desert like conditions across most of it, that would mean the suns rays beam down on the planet much more than on this one."

"In which case, even indoors, Seras is going to feel it." Daniel said. "Would having her sleep in the ground help?"

"It would. While I am unsure if that planets soil would do any good or not, it should help out some. Having dirt from England itself would be better." Integra said. "However, I sincerely doubt she will have the chance to even try sleeping in the ground."

"This is very confusing, but I will see about getting the message passed along. I cannot say if they will be able to get out and, have her sleep in the ground, as strange as it sounds." Anise said. "If they are able to escape, I shall have our operative at least identify themselves to ensure they are not injured in any fight to come."

The next morning, all of them were tired, mostly because of bad sleeping conditions. No blankets, no pillows and hard stone to sleep on, plus being a little cold, made it very difficult. Having the light on above them constantly added to it. They had no idea, at first, what time of the day it was and such, but figured it out because of Seras. She began feeling better, that continued to a peak of sorts and then a couple of hours later began feeling herself getting weaker, which basically had to mean night came at her good hours.

More bread, not fresh but not stale either, cold and apparently fresh water, seemed to continue to be their staple. They spent most of their time resting and little chatting, seeing as they were being watched constantly. The Goa'uld had yet to come back and another night went by. Seras spent a good amount of time just lying on the floor and drifting off, mostly to conserve energy and avoid having to drink. The General and two ladies had considered trying to exercise in some form, but didn't think it would go over well with their every moment watched.

Teygan was coming back from another bathroom run, and had been gone a lot longer than before. She came looking no different at first, but years of experience at watching people showed through for the General. Seras actually sat up as she felt the General get mad.

"Teygan, did you…?" the General began.

Teygan sat down on the floor, next to Lara, as she put her knees close to her face and closed her arms around her legs. He knelt down next to her, putting a hand on her hands, and stopped as he heard her say something very quietly, before saying out loud she didn't want to talk. Sitting back beside Seras, he maintained a very angry look.

When he had neared her, Teygan said quietly, "Have Seras listen carefully."

Seras listened, and Lara being so close, holding arm around her like she was comforting her, heard what little was spoke.

"I'm fine. I was approached in the bathroom, by a Tok'ra. Thankfully a female, whose face I never saw, for her own protection. She was told of our situation and who you two really are. Hephaestus may come back soon or not till tomorrow. He's in a meeting with another Goa'uld that showed up. What it is, is not important. Our escape is the most important thing right now. Tonight, the Tok'ra lady, will do something to help us get out of here, depending on what Hephaestus does." Teygan said so low only Seras did get it.

Though it was sort of straining to do, Seras was able to project her thoughts to Teygan as she more or less relayed what the General asked.

"So, we just wait then?" Seras asked.

Teygan nodded while making it look like she was just moving her head.

"Great." the General muttered as he rubbed his face. "Okay, the silence is driving me crazy. Let's play a game."

Even Seras turned her head to look at him.

"I think the game was called pyramid or maybe I am thinking of another game of that age. Basically, it's a word game. I say one word, you associate it with another." the General said, being a bit quiet about it.

Seras got the idea and projected to the two what his idea for the game was, because it would take more energy for her to use if he had her send the message to them. They nodded as he looked up and thought a moment.

"Female." the General said.

"She." the two girls said, after seeing his eyes shift to look at Seras.

"You die, a living…"

"Will." the girls said.

"More than want, a…."

"Need." they said.

"Not bleed…" the General said as they looked at him confused. Rolling his eyes, he rubbed the side of his neck, away from the guards watching, as he tried again. "Suck..."

"Blood." they said understanding.

"Not after…"

"Before." they said getting the idea better.

"Us…."

"We." they said.

"Build a sandwich…"

"Make." they said.

"Pirates say it…" he said with a small smile.

"Our." they said chuckling as they made it sound drawn out, but getting the message across of further understanding.

"Going from one house to another…"

"Move." they said.

"Good. Um, what next? Okay, not me…" the General said pointing at himself carefully.

"I?" they said in a asking tone, despite knowing what was going on.

"Living…" the General said with a rolling motion.

"Will." they said.

"Kids like to do this with video games."

"Play." they said.

"You die, you are…"

"Dead." they said.

"Not before…"

"After." they said.

"Her."

"She." they said as they kept from looking with him as the guards moved a bit closer.

"You take what's out of an apple?"

"Bites." they said.

"I?"

"Me." they said.

"Excellent. Hey you two want to play? Oh wait, you don't know Earth slang." the General said waving a hand. "Your ladies turn."

They game, as it was now, went on for another hour before the guards got tired, or at least the two that came in during the change over. They feigned ignorance at not understanding the head guard when he spoke in Goa'uld. Having a staff weapon pointed at them, they got the message and shut up. The General sat crossed legged with his hands in his lap as he more or less meditated. After a moment, the girls did the same, as Seras only moved to put her head in his lap and rested as best she could. It didn't seem like much time had past, when Seras spoke to them with her mind, saying she was starting to feel better. The guards had changed out at some point again, and surprisingly they weren't bothered. After Seras spoke, the girls woke up as the General only opened his eyes and cracked his neck.

"Damn, my legs fell asleep." Teygan grumbled. "My neck is sore too."

"Same here." Lara said as they two had tried to get up and was unable to move.

After helping them up to being able to sit on the seat area, he sat down across from them and helped Seras to sit beside him.

"Aren't your legs asleep?" Lara asked through gritted teeth.

"No. I learned long ago how to keep that from happening. The objective is to clear your mind and not actually fall asleep." the General said as Seras continued to look very tired.

(I know this from experience. Usually it was a foot that went to sleep, but I have had both legs fall asleep. The pain is horrible, for me anyway, and I find myself lucky I didn't piss myself. As gross or whatever as it sounds, you sit long enough cross legged and don't move at all, eventually your waist begins to fall asleep.)

The girls were hissing as they moved their legs, getting feeling back slowly. The door opened and they were hoping it was their Tok'ra friend, but it was Hephaestus. He walked up, hands behind his back and paced back and forth.

"I must admit, I am unsure of what to do with you. Getting information out of you would be an excellent idea, but even under great torture, I would not be able to truly know if you are telling the truth or not. And while I am very much a God like the others, I, give more leeway, as you humans say, to my servants. Compliance and servitude done with respect are causes for being rewarded. Disrespect, disruption and defiance all lead to punishment. Personally, I will use torture if I need to. But I usually try to avoid that, mostly because I do not like such messes to take place. My loyal subjects do not need to be doing such mundane task." Hephaestus stated, still pacing.

"Because it is beneath them?" Teygan said sarcastically.

"Very much so. I have several hundred thousand loyal subjects on this planet. Each knows their place and I rarely have to punish anyone. By the standards of your planet, things could be seen as everyone being near equals." Hephaestus said as they raised their eyebrows. "But they all know I am their God. I even over look failure, but only once. After that, it will depend on the circumstances."

"Why the hell are you telling us this?" the General asked. "So when we get free, we can tell our superiors there is a good Goa'uld out there?"

"I would say yes, but freedom as you know it, is long since gone. No one, not any other Goa'uld knows you are here. Not even the vaunted Tok'ra. Who I have learned a great deal about, even where there base might be. And while I could gain much from attacking them myself, or telling the other Goa'uld about it, it works better in my favor to not do so. As for why I explain myself, is because you cannot get away from here. The gate is constantly guarded, and my various ships are constantly watched as well." Hephaestus said as he stopped just outside the field and made a motion with his hand.

The four guards moved to be just around the cell they were still in and then the field came down.

"Here is what your options are. You can take my hospitality, and live the rest of your life on this planet. For quite some time you will be watched constantly, and allowed to go to and fro in this place or in town. The guards I will place with you will let you know when you are going beyond what I state is the limit, which only they will know. Each of you will be given one chance, because I am quite sure one if not all four of you will try to leave, whether that be by fighting or whatever you try. After that, you loose your privileges of freedom. A guard or guards will be with you at all time, eating, sleeping, dressing and bathroom needs." Hephaestus said seeing the girls cringe.

"After that is death?" Lara asked.

"No. Your deaths would do me no good. Even if you kill yourself, I will have you brought back. A third defiance will be more worse for you ladies, as I will allow your dignity to be taken. I might even be the one to take it. You will then wear very revealing clothes, and depending on how much trouble you caused to get to that point will depend on how much dignity you will have left. The male, will be tortured on his third try. Fourth time will be torture for all of you and you'll be left wearing nothing, to be paraded around to show everyone what still will happen to those who refuse the generosity of their God. It hasn't happened in some time, but I am sure there is still subjects out there that would take pleasure in your bodies during and after being paraded around." Hephaestus stated with a smile that made the women really cringe, Seras was playing along though.

"And even after all that, we keep trying?" the General asked.

"More torture, for a unknown amount of time, followed by letting whoever wants your bodies for their amusement to continue, whatever that may be, minus you sir. It has been well over a hundred years, but one woman, who had a very defiant spirit, essentially killed herself. It took over a year, but her mind just gave up. Constant torture, fighting back physically, despite the pain, used by many people over and over. It was the torture sadly that took her in the end. No amount of times in the sarcophagus was bringing her back. A sad moment, but also an interesting experience. She was the longest that ever held out." Hephaestus said with a chuckle as he shook his head.

"And any guy?" the General asked.

"Men are much easier to make subservient. All it takes is cutting off something important and then the anger is gone." Hephaestus said, seeing the General actually cringe. "I see you understand."

Seras actually growled at that, making everyone look at her. Only the General knew she hadn't been able to hold that back, as certain instincts were starting to rise.

"Ah, I see that what I thought is true. I had wondered if you had one of these women as your own. It is no surprise to see she is the one, seeing as you have stayed by her side all this time." Hephaestus said as he nodded. "Ah. I know what I will do, to ensure you understand how serious I am, and how generous a God I can be. The same rules apply. You can eventually, after proving your loyalty, have homes and servants of your own. Though your skills in war would be greatly appreciated, I would not be able to trust any of you. Helping in working in or on ships, would be allowed eventually, however never off this planet. Having families will be allowed, once you have proven yourselves. For the moment, you will all live in the same room. It has all the needs to live a lavish life, but you will be constantly guarded. I will not interfere if you choose to keep all three women to yourself…"

Seras coughed, as it somewhat crossed the General mind of that happening, assuming they never were able to leave. Teygan and Lara gave her a look, but said nothing and the General didn't appear to have moved or changed his appearance at the statement. Hephaestus kept speaking after a moment of smiling and letting the idea sink in as it were.

"I will have you escorted to your room very shortly. There, you will be given a day to talk, eat better food and change clothes. I will have outfits for you ready when you get there. You will change into them, or I will have my Jaffa do it for you. And it will count against you as your first chance. I will be by shortly after to see if you have followed my orders. From there, we shall see how things go as the days go by." Hephaestus said with a bright smile and then walked out.

"What do we do?" Teygan asked quietly, as there was only one Jaffa in the room, and over by the door.

"We go to the room and then figure things out." the General muttered.

"What about…." Lara said carefully.

"Maybe on the way to the room, or in it." the General grumbled.

The Tok'ra, having heard every word, had little choice but to carry out other orders at the moment, after dropping off the outfits, leaving a note in the pocket of the pants, then headed out to the other job that would keep her away for awhile.

The room had two beds, both large enough for all of them, and were extravagant. There was a closet or what must be one seeing at it had the clothes they were to wear on the shelves. A doorway leading into what was the bathroom. Privacy was basically staying away from the doorway, though it looked like a drape of sorts could be hung and pulled across the doorway, but was currently taken down. There was a marble block to be used as a table, on either side of the bed. In the top of it, dug out about half a foot down, was a hole that had incenses sticks, burning in them. The General had smelled them before, but he couldn't recall where. He recalled enough to know that this was something you didn't put out in public for everyone to smell. Try as he might, he was having trouble concentrating since Seras was having problems.

Having little choice, since there was nothing that could even be used as a weapon, seeing as there was only covers, and the clothes, the girls went first, then the General. He had on a pair of white silk like pants, no belt and thankfully not very tight, and that was it. The sandals that came with were too small.

The girls, had very tight skimpy bikini like pieces on. They also had robes, which were kinda see thru if you looked hard enough. The two pieces were made of gold, that had tiny leaves hanging off them, which clinked as they moved. Seras was getting angry real fast. Part from the embarrassment of skimpy clothes, which other people would soon see here in if the ass Hephaestus decided to have them go on a tour. While the other two were covered just enough, and still showed their undergarments they left on, Seras had nothing for her top, just underwear.

Her other problem, besides being hungry, was the mood it was putting her in, making him feel it, making her feel it more and just increasing it every time he looked her way, even though they had changed and had only been sitting there for a couple of minutes. Being as dusk was there or just past it, she was feeling a lot of her strength coming back. She was keeping herself as calm as possible, but the urge to kill, drink and then take him even with the other two ladies in the room was getting stronger every minute. She knew he didn't need protection per say, but her every instinct was practically shouting that her, mate, was in danger. The girls obviously had no intentions for him, but part of her was feeling like they did. No aura was around her yet, but the atmosphere was feeling, well, evil.

A Jaffa, that had been waiting in the room, and stood outside the bathroom, taking the girls clothes, and then the General's next, left shortly after leaving them with what they had on. And either the guy didn't care, had great control, was married, all the above or something else was in play that made the Jaffa not even give the girls a glance at any time.

"Seras, you're eyes…" Teygan began gently.

"I know." Seras said with a growl she barely contained as she crossed her legs again and crossed her arms.

"You two might want to go stand over by the bathroom doorway…" the General said suddenly.

The two ran over, glad to see he was watching the door to the room instead of them, which wasn't surprising really. More the fact he wasn't looking at Seras, who was right beside him was surprising. Even they were beginning to feel a lusty nature in the air, that was slowly affecting them.

The door opened and Hephaestus came in, with a couple Jaffa leaving plates on the bed that the two girls just got off of. Different meats, cheeses, fruits, and what had to be a bottle of wine, was set down on a small wooden table that was brought in.

"Ah, I see you have obeyed. Now, you will be left in here for one night. If you need more food, you knock on the door and the guards outside will bring something. How do you like the incense?" Hephaestus asked with a sly smile. "It is a favorite of mine."

"Why?" the General asked.

"It helps limit inhibitions of course!" Hephaestus said with a laugh.

The memory of what he was smelling came back rather quickly, making him sit up straighter, especially after it began taking effect quicker.

"Uh oh." the General muttered.

Seras's head snapped up so fast they heard a crack. Her eyes turned bright red, her fangs came out, and a black ripple came out from her body. Hephaestus was shocked at the sight, but recovered quickly as he blasted her with his hand device. The General had rolled out of the way as he yelled at the girls to hide in the bathroom. Seras, took the blast while she was standing up, and it only swayed her, pissing her off further. Staring at him, her smile became wicked looking as she lifted a hand, still ignoring the two blast that came at her, that blasted her outfit off and ripped the sheets from the bed. The two Jaffa fired their staff blast again, which did hit her, going through her hitting the wall. She healed instantly as her hand turned into a black spike that slammed the two Jaffa, through the head.

The Goa'uld, tried to use some energy beam that lashed out hitting her in the head, making her madder. He was quickly enveloped in blackness and his screams were muffled, as were the crunching noises. Less than half a minute had went by, by the time this all happened and she ripped the door off with a black wave, tossing him and the Jaffa out the door. Blood, body parts and bones littered the doorway outside, as well as the walls, she not drinking any of it, seeing as the Jaffa and Goa'uld tasted bad anyway.

Hearing nothing, the two girls came out, seeing the black aura around her slip away. With a flick of her wrist, the doorway had a large blackness envelop it, holding the damaged door back in place. Then, she turned up the fear factor, making the girls drop to the floor cringing despite her telling them she would not harm them at all, and was just putting them to sleep, to which they slumped against each other and was out rather quickly before the fear did damage to them and also made them so terrified they would mess themselves.

The General had since stood up and saw her knock them out, and was going to walk over, when he was pulled over by telekinetic powers, putting him right in front of her.

"Seras, I am more than willing, but we are in enemy territory…" the General began warily.

"Shh. There is so much of my angry aura being spread out, that no one will come near here for quite so time." Seras said in a very seductive voice, making him drop to his knees without question, despite the evil sinister look still in her eyes.

She was there, but a lot of her vampiric nature, the possession part, was heavily influencing her judgment. It was certainly the most intense experience, embarrassing as well, and a first for getting it on in enemy territory, especially since it was the dead guys headquarters. He figured she'd take more than the three long drinks, but they were enough, and he figured, before he passed out less than a half a hour later, even if she hadn't drank anything, he still wouldn't have made it an hour.

The girls awoke feeling lethargic but not wasted tired. The atmosphere was rather calm and eerily quiet. Helping each other to their feet, they rubbed their legs to get feeling back and looking around. They were alone in the room and had a couple sheets covering them apparently. Both beds were ripped apart, there was scratches in the walls and the marble table was fractured. Slowly going out into the hallway, they saw the dead bodies and body parts of what had to be the Goa'uld. It took them time to walk through the splattered blood to get to the cleaner parts of the hallway. A few corridors later, they found more dead Jaffa and finally what appeared to be the kitchen after following the noise they heard. There was a few more dead Jaffa in the room, killed by Seras apparently because of the holes in their chest. The General was eating, though he looked asleep at the same time, considering the white sheet around him had some food and drink spilled on it, as it was on his face. Seras was no where to be seen at the moment and even after calling his name softly, and tapping him on the shoulder, he didn't acknowledge them.

"I'd swear he is in a trance of some sort." Lara muttered.

Teygan grabbed a pitcher of water and dumped it on his head, getting the result she was looking for. The man jumped up, catching his foot on one of the wooden chair legs and fell back, breaking the chair as the two went down. Obviously ignoring the pain, he jumped to his feet, pulling the broken leg out of his side and held it like a weapon. After a few seconds, seeing no danger, the injury caught up with him as he sank to his knees.

"General…." Lara began as the two knelt down by him.

"Give me a moment. Tell me what is going on, so I can focus…" the General said through gritted teeth as he held his injured side.

"We were hoping you could tell us." Teygan stated. "Last we recall, was Seras scaring the hell out of us and putting us to sleep. We woke up, looked around, finding quite a few dead Jaffa everywhere."

"You were sitting at that table, eating sloppily I must add. And I have seen some babies eat with better coordination." Lara said.

"Well, I won't go into details…." the General said with a cough as he stood, rubbing the blood away and cleaning his face off with the clean parts of the sheet. "But I can only recall…ahem…Seras tackling me, I think. Don't know how I got here, much less why I am eating so much. Ate too damn much anyway."

The table was covered with different foods, most of which he had either ate entirely, or picked at. Some of it wasn't recognizable.

"Where is Seras?" Teygan asked.

"Um…" the General said while thinking and feeling. "She is asleep, in the sarcophagus she buried in what I guess would be called a basement of sorts here. Not a bunker, but some place out of the way like a cellar."

They could see he was completely unsure and left the room, them following on the search.

"What do we do if more Jaffa show up?" Teygan asked as she grabbed his arm. "If you haven't noticed, none of us are dressed to fight."

He looked down finding the silk pants were ripped in shreds and covered just enough. The girls didn't have their robes, leaving little too the imagination, but did nothing for him. Despite what he could vaguely remember of what he and Seras did, and his healing ability, he was rather sore. Could be he was feeling it from her being sore as well, considering she was extremely tired again, despite being asleep for what he guessed was three hours now.

"We'll need to find something then. No offense, I know I can handle wearing Jaffa armor, but speaking Goa'uld is not happening." the General stated. "And I am more speaking of you not having anything to wear under the armor to keep from getting pinched and such…"

"Aside from the weight I know I could not handle." Lara said dryly.

"I probably could handle the weight, but the pinching would be practically impossible to keep from bearing." Teygan said.

Hearing metal moving, which they realized were footsteps, they stepped into a room nearby, closing the door as several Jaffa troops ran by. They stopped at some point around the corner and began speaking with another group, at least a dozen or so by the different voices. Lara couldn't make out enough to say anything, other than say they were begin searched for.

They did hear a Goa'uld voice, which Teygan instantly said she was the Tok'ra. Listening further, the Tok'ra lady told the guards double the troops at the gate and begin looking outside more thoroughly. There was a few large holes from explosions earlier that could easily been used to escape. There was a noise of shifting armor, obviously they were standing at attention for something before the groups ran different directions.

Sticking his head out slowly, a minute after it was quiet, he saw nothing and heard even less. He waved them out slowly and they began down the hallway again, taking a few turns here and there, finding more dead Jaffa that hadn't been recently, before hiding behind a few pillars in the hallways, saying he heard movement. Reaching out as a woman slowly walked by, he just stopped himself from nearly breaking her neck after the eyes flashed, as Teygan stopped him.

"Sorry…" the General began as he let go of her neck.

"Come, we must go, quickly." the Tok'ra lady said, rubbing her neck and waving them from talking.

Some more corridors later, they ended up on a lower level where there was no power and a lot of damage done to the walls.

"Seras obviously did this." Teygan said.

"Yes, she did. Your friend encountered me after she left you to eat. I was sure she was going to kill me when a black tendril that was her arm wrapped around my neck. She spoke into my mind, which I hope to hear more of how she did all this, and told me to get you three down to her so you can all escape later when night falls. She took information from my mind, took one of the sarcophagi, brought it down here, broke parts of it, then buried it in the ground, sealing herself in it under the dirt." the Tok'ra lady said in her voice. "Makes no sense to me, but at this point, I don't care since I am still alive and hope to keep it that way."

After several turns and stepping over large chunks of walls and such, they came to a place that was a room at one point, but she had turned into a large circle of sorts. It had to be at least twenty feet in diameter. In the middle of it all, was a large mound of semi-fresh dirt.

"How…" Lara began.

"She had to expanded her…um, well, not self personally." the General said, kinda unsure since her mind was blank. She knew he was there and the girls, but saw nothing as a threat. "Let's just say she lifted her arm and enveloped herself in a black ball that grew outward until it made the room this big. Somehow managed to make it all stay this way too."

"Then buried herself." Teygan muttered. "How is she?"

"Satiate, I guess is the best word I can come up with. Um, feeling a lot more rested, which is because of the dirt nap as it were, mind you." the General said. "She does carry a ziplock bag of dirt from England with her, in case she suddenly needs it."

"You two did…" Lara began gently.

"Let's leave it at yes. And while I know women like to talk and all, I know she's just as embarrassed as I feel about it." the General said as he kept from looking at the three women.

"Before and during the time she took out that Goa'uld, I got the feeling she saw us as a threat from some reason." Teygan said.

"Um, yeah. Part of her vampire instinct kicked in big time and made her very possessive. She knocked you out on purpose, other than for what you already know, but to also keep from listening further to her instincts." the General said as he rubbed his head and yawned. "Thank God she is straight otherwise I know she would have forced your mind to join in."

"Ok, that is a creepy image that I didn't need. And we never bring up again." Teygan said as the other two nodded.

"How long until night comes?" Lara asked.

"It will be some time." the Tok'ra lady said as she set down the device that lit the way for them. "I must go to keep the Jaffa from finding you. I will also return with your belongings as I am able."

"I wonder how much time is some time?" Lara muttered as she rubbed her arms. "Damn, it's rather cold."

"I know." Teygan muttered as she rubbed her arms.

"This, is going to be really hard to describe in the reports when we get back, all while keeping a lot of details out and such." the General muttered as he sat down on the dirt, facing the doorway they came in.

The girls, while being cold and one of them, more than the other, feeling embarrassed about their attire, had little choice but to sit with their backs against his. They had the light between the two of them, basically leaving the General in the dark, which he didn't care. It provided some warmth, but not a lot. Since the gold metal on them was cold and uncomfortable, they tossed them off, hoping the lady would return soon.

At some point, even with the cold, they had all nodded off at some point. The girls were on alert when the Tok'ra woke them, mostly because the General was asleep. The Tok'ra lady said she felt it would be easier to wake them and have them wake him next. She left shortly after, saying it was better if she wasn't near them when they began running or whatever their escape plan was, and to do it quickly since it turned night an hour ago. Getting dressed first, they woke him up and handed over his clothes and Seras's before heading up the corridor to keep watch.

He had barely gotten his pants on when her fist came out from the ground. Even with feeling her waking up and knowing what she was going to do, it still startled him. She came jumping out, shaking the dirt off and feeling a lot better, but not one hundred percent. Seeing him trying to get up out of the dirt, his legs tangled in his pants he never fully got on, she laughed as he scowled. The girls came back down as the General was finished and Seras was buttoning her shirt.

The plan was short, and while Seras could go out and fight everything for them, getting them to the Stargate quickly, it wouldn't be a good idea. Other than because she would use a lot of energy, the enemy might blow up the gate or disable it, making it very difficult to leave. And while the General was good at driving and piloting, he wasn't really sure he could even turn on the lights in any of the Goa'uld/Jaffa vessels.

"Why are you thinking about cars?" the General muttered as they were slowing walking out.

"Had a dream I was driving around like you like to. Which I think I was getting from you." Seras said.

"I was dreaming of driving, like I did back in the 70's and such. Haven't had a good race that got me riled up in a long time." the General said.

"Why am I not surprised." Teygan muttered. "I did watch the Dukes of Hazzard at one time. Did you drive moonshine and such?"

"For awhile there. That stuff had a serious kick to it." the General muttered. "Any idea of what you want?"

"Not yet. Never really thought about cars in that sort of way before." Seras said. "Wait, there is a patrol a few meters ahead."

They waited a couple of minutes until the patrol had went another direction.

"I got a catalogue you can look through when we get back." the General muttered. "I'm behind the creation of the vehicle encyclopedia of the world."

"I've seen that book, or books per say. Since the damn thing is so long, it was put into sections." Lara said.

"SUV, four wheel, trucks, small cars…" Teygan rambled off. "I have the SUV guide. I like my Land Rover."

"The first book was made in 1940." the General muttered. "And then it expanded as I learned about vehicles in other countries. Did start at one point, collecting all of them. Had to stop, sort of at one point."

More patrols made them keep more quiet. Half an hour later, they finally made it to the level the gate was on. The Tok'ra lady was ordering a large patrol as they hid around a corner. As soon as they headed off, the Tok'ra lady beckoned them over.

"I have procured two stun grenades. It should be more than enough to knock out the group near the Chap'pai. Once you enter, I shall come in and take us to a safe place." she said.

Things did go well thankfully, she came in as they took the weapons that the Jaffa had, and followed her to a desert planet. She then dialed out to another planet, and on that planet they dialed another ending up in a large forest. They didn't know the addresses, as they were told ahead of time to not look, and respected her wishes. The planet they were on now, was one of the Tok'ra worlds. After a short rest as her people got hold of Earth, they went to the Alpha site, and after being checked over, were sent back to Earth.
