A/N Keep in mind I am not a parent and am the youngest child, which influences my writing regarding discipline. Thanks for the reviews, they gave me a lot to think about!

Gibbs sent Tony upstairs to get ready for his fishing trip, since Stan would be there in less than half an hour. He had considered not letting Tony go on the trip all together, but that would not have been fair to Stan, as the man had been planning the trip for well over two weeks. That and the fact that while Tony's actions had definitely been out of hand, cancelling his trip seemed a bit harsh.

Knowing that Tim would not see it that way, he was going to wait until Tony left to discuss what had happened earlier. Instead, when he went upstairs, he headed straight to his oldest son's room. The door was open, and he did not need to knock to let Tony know he was there. He entered the room and sat on the bed and watched as Tony dug through his closet looking for an outfit.

"What you did today was uncalled for Anthony." Gibbs said softly. Tony spared his dad a quick glance before turning back to face the closet. "I don't know why you are so intent on annoying your brother, but it stops now. "

Tony blushed at the reprimand but nodded his agreement.

"Look at me Tony." And with great reluctance, Tony did. The look that he was met with caused his stomach to clench. It was a look of disappointment.

"You might not have meant to ruin Tim's shirt, but the fact remains that you did." Tony looked up and meant to argue his point, but was quickly cut off when his dad stood up. Tony instinctively took a few steps back until he was pressed against the closet door. Gibbs walked to his sixteen year old and grabbed his chin, forcing eye contact. "I don't care that it was an accident. You shouldn't have been wearing it in the first place. And you never should have entered Tim's room without his permission. You are sixteen, Anthony, and know better than to violate someone's privacy like that."

Tony was starting to feel guilty with all his misdeeds laid out before him. He realized he would have to rein it in before things got out of hand.

"It's not like I was searching around in his room or anything! I just went in and out." Tony explained.

"Anthony Leroy, don't raise your voice at me." Gibbs scolded, letting go of his son's chin and instead placing his hands on his hips. "I don't care how long you were in there for, or your intent. You shouldn't have been in there in the first place." The father reprimanded.

"He makes it so easy though!" Tony cried out. "He leaves his clothes out every day." Tony muttered while glaring at the floor.

"Eyes up Tony." Gibbs ordered sternly. When he caught his gaze, Gibbs continued.

"This is not Tim's fault. You are the one in trouble here, kiddo. I thought that you would be better than making excuses. I know you are a better man than that." Gibbs admonished.

"I'm sorry." Tony whispered, emotion clear in his voice. He could deal with his dad yelling, or any punishment the man could dish out, but far worse than either of those was knowing that he disappointed his father. "I know I shouldn't have done it." He whispered softly, finally admitting he was in the wrong.

"Good boy." Gibbs said with a small smile and a gentle squeeze of his shoulder. "But you are going to be doing Tim's chores until you have earned the money to buy him a t-shirt." Gibbs told him.

"I have then money to buy him one already" Tony replied hopefully.

"And you are still going to do his chores." Gibbs said, giving him a knowing look. "And since I can't trust either of you to behave civilly, you can spend tomorrow and Monday in your room."

"What! I am already doing his chores!" Tony whined.

"That was for ruining his shirt. You're grounded for entering your brother's room without permission and intentionally antagonizing him. Unless you want to it to be a week, I suggest you zip it."

"Yes sir." Tony sighed, but with no real heat behind it.

"Good." Gibbs answered, once he got his acceptance. "Now I want you to put on an old sweater and come downstairs. I have your coat and boots ready for you." Gibbs said, effectively putting the conversation to bed.

"Thanks dad" Tony said before again digging through his closet.

Before heading downstairs, Gibbs stopped outside Tim's door. He stood there for a moment and heard nothing, so he descended the stairs. Not two minutes later, the doorbell rang. Why the man didn't just enter the house was beyond Gibbs, and it would have saved a lot of trouble in the long run.

None the less, Gibbs opened the door and greeted the man.

"Tony will be just a few minutes. Do you want some coffee while you wait?" Gibbs asked.

"Your sludge? No thanks" Stan answered jovially. "Wouldn't mind some OJ though."

Gibbs turned to lead the way to the kitchen, but stopped when he saw Tim at the top of the stairs.

"What are you doing here?" Tim asked Stan.

"I'm here to pick up Tony?" He replied with a confused look to Gibbs. Ignoring him, Gibbs spoke to Tim.

"Tim, go to your room please." Gibbs told his son, not wanting to embarrass his son in front of his surrogate uncle.

Ignoring his dad, Tim climbed down the stairs. "What does he mean he is here for Tony?" He asked angrily.

When he reached the bottom of the stairs, Gibbs grabbed him by the shoulders.

"I told you to go to your room Timothy" Gibbs said sternly. If Tim didn't mind getting scolded in front of Stan, then he didn't mind doing it.

It was then that Tony started coming downstairs.

"No!" Tim yelled at his brother. "He's shouldn't be allowed to go!" He practically screamed at his father. "If I don't get to go anywhere, neither does he!"

"Timothy, stop it!" Gibbs shouted back. "Check your behavior." Gibbs reminded, but Tim still continued to protest.

Still holding onto Tim, Gibbs encouraged Tony the rest of the way down the stairs.

"Your jacket and boots are by the door" He said calmly. "Stan said you are eating lunch on the boat and will be going out for supper." Gibbs reminded his eldest.

He couldn't ignore Tim's fervent attempts at pulling his arms away any longer. When Tim tried to lunge at his brother, Gibbs quickly pulled Tim into a restrictive hold where his arms were wrapped under his armpits and his small frame was pressed firmly with his back against his father.

"Timothy, I told you to knock it off!" Gibbs scolded. Seeing the struggles weren't stopping, he spoke to Stan.

"Tony has some money, but I will refund you when you get back for any expenses." Gibbs said.

Still slightly shaken from what he walked into, Stan could only nod. He had never seen Tim act like this before and wasn't sure if it was normal. A part of him was unashamedly fascinated with what was going on. It was not until Tony asked him for a second time if he was ready to go that he peeled himself away from the situation.

With Tony and Stan gone, he had hoped Tim would have calmed down but there was no such luck.

"Tim, stop it. You are acting like a toddler." His father admonished.

"I don't care!" Tim yelled. "It's not fair! You are being unfair and stupid!" Tim accused.

Sighing, Gibbs continued to hold his Tim until his struggles died down. The only indication anything was amiss was Tim's heavy breathing from the exertion of trying to break away. Once Gibbs thought he was calm enough, he released his youngest son, but led him to the bottom of the stairs by the arm.

"You need to go back to your room." Gibbs ordered sternly. "I will be up in a few minutes, once we've both had some time to calm down." By the looks of things, Tim was going to need more than a few minutes.

"It's not fair!" Ti.m repeated.

"Timothy. I told you we will talk about it when we are both calmed down and can think rationally." Gibbs replied sternly.

"Fine." Tim mutter. "I don't care. I don't want to go anywhere with you anyways." He said before running up the stairs. Gibbs stood at the bottom of the stairs for several minutes after Tim had entered his room and wondered how the morning had gone so far wrong.
