A/N A lot of back lash with the last chapter, but I love the feedback! Thanks for reading and sticking with it even if you didn't like how Tim was treated! This one is a chapter where I think people wanted to see it go. I hope you enjoy it!

Gibbs waited ten minutes before he went upstairs, hoping that Tim had time to calm down. When he got to his son's room, the door was open and Gibbs could see Tim was sitting at his desk writing.

With a quiet hello, Gibbs sat on Tim's bed before asking Tim to come to him.

The only response he got was for Tim to shake his head and him continuing to write.

"Please, Tim" Gibbs said softly while extending his arms welcomingly. "Come here, Tiger"

With the use of that nickname, he knew his dad was not mad anymore. While he was not happy with his dad, now that he was calm he was able to recognize his overreaction. And he was ready to talk without resorting to yelling.

Once Tim was within grabbing distance, his dad pulled him between his legs.

"I'm sorry, Tim." Gibbs whispered softly.

"Why" Tim questioned, not used to his dad apologizing so much.

Gibbs gave Tim a small smile.

"I meant it when I said we both needed time to cool off Tim." Tim blushed slightly. "While your behavior leaves room to be desired, it wasn't fair to cancel your trip but not Tony's"

"So we're going?" Tim asked hopefully.

"Yes, we're going, but-"

"Awesome!" Tim yelled and tried to squirm out of his father's hold. "We need to leave now-"

"BUT" Gibbs said over his son's rant. "We still need to talk about this morning."

"Why?" Tim whined. "I'm sorry, okay?"

"I am glad to hear that Tim, but you know better than to act the way you did this morning. "

Tim tried to push his father's hands away, to no avail. Tim sighed and stopped his efforts.

"Tony makes me so mad." Tim muttered.

Now it was Gibbs turn to sigh.

"Provoked or not Tim, you know better than to resort to hitting someone and swearing at them."

"He was wearing my shirt!" Tim declared angrily.

"I should have seen how that made you feel, but honestly I wanted to get breakfast done with. That was my mistake and I am sorry about it. But we're not talking about Tony's actions, we're talking about yours." His father reminded.

Tim huffed. Gibbs ignored it and moved on.

"Just like Tony, you are grounded tomorrow and Monday." The father explained.

Tim was not happy with the declaration, but did not protest.

"And Tony will be doing your chores until he pays you back for the shirt." He said. Tim grinned at that. "You are not going to give him trouble, or you can just easily resume doing them. Understood?"

"Yes sir" Tim agreed easily. He was not about to muck up the situation where his brother doing his chores for the foreseeable future.

"Good. Now why don't you get your backpack ready? It is an hour drive, do pack some games." The father instructed.

"And we'll leave when I am ready?" Tim clarified.

"Yes" Gibbs confirmed before walking downstairs.
