Me-Hello! I'm back with Broken (after so long)!
Usui-I thought you were gonna abandon this story.
Me-No, I wasn't! I'm just very busy.
Aoi-Of course you were. :p
Me-Aoi...! XC
Misaki-So! What's gonna happen today?
Me-That's a secret.
Misaki-Dang it!
Aoi-NightcoreAddictXx does not own Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama.
Me-And read on!
Normal POV
Misaki yawned out loud just as her cell phone rang.
Misaki was in her normal attire, which was a baggy red sweatshirt along with navy blue pajama pants that had white sheep on them. Her hair was a complete mess and there were dark bas under her eyes.
She pouted as she rested her mug of amaretto coffee on the island in the kitchen.
"What the...?" she thought to herself before reaching her cell phone, which was next to her coffee mug, and she answered it.
Right off the bat, she knew that it was Aoi.
"Hyoudou, what the hell?" she snapped angrily.
"Hag, you need to get here now." he said.
"Get where?" she asked.
"To Hyoudou Fashino Incorporation." he said.
She arched up an eyebrow in confusion as she walked into her room to find something to wear for today.
"And why is that?" she asked, putting the phone on speaker and resting it on her bed.
"Someone called for you today. They said that they wanted you and me to help out with their wedding." he said.
Misaki stopped looking for a shirt to go along with her white capris and she glanced over at her phone.
"Aoi, repeat that for me again." she said, wondering if she heard him right.
"You heard me. Someone wants our help with their wedding again." he said.
"Tell me what number we're on." she said as she found a bright blue tank top along with a chocolate-brown button up shirt in her dresser.
"Um...I believe it's two hundred..." he trailed off, trying to remember the number.
A vein popped in her head as she wriggled out of her pajamas.
"Two hundred?! How come you didn't tell me this sooner?!" she nearly exclaimed as she put on her clothes.
"You know that I called you around seven this morning, right?" he pointed out.
Misaki arched up an eyebrow in confusion as she rolled up the sleeves on her button up shirt. She put on a pair of bright blue flip-flops and she picked up her phone from the bed.
"You did?" she asked.
He nodded on the other end.
"Yes, I did. She called at six-thirty in the morning and I tried calling you, but you wouldn't pick up your damn phone." he explained.
"Well, look! I was sleeping!" she complained.
"Due to how much whiskey you drank." he stated bluntly.
She glared at her phone as she took out a traveling mug that looks like a coffee cup, but it was cream and red.
"Whatever, Aoi." she poured her amaretto coffee into the mug and closed it. "I'm heading out now. I'll see you in a bit." she said.
"Alright. See you." he said before hanging up.
She quickly shoved her phone in her white tote bag and she rushed out of the door, hoping that she could catch a taxi.
"Taxi!" she hollered at the top of her lungs, waving her hand in the air so that she could flag down the taxi.
The taxi pulled up and she got in just as another guy got in on the other side.
They both got in and they collided, causing Misaki to let out a small gasp.
"Sorry..." she trailed off as she quickly glanced at him before digging through her tote bag to find a compact mirror.
"Where you two going?" the taxi driver asked.
"I'm heading to Le Francais." the guy said.
"And you, Miss?" the taxi driver asked, looking at me through the rearview mirror.
"I'm going to Hyoudou Fashion Incorporation. But, please hurry up. I need to meet my wedding client." Misaki said.
The taxi driver nodded.
"Alright." he said before driving off.
Misaki looked at herself in the little compact mirror and she gasped, realizing that she forgot to comb her hair before she left. Well, no duh! Aoi told her to get there ASAP, so it's technically his fault.
She dug through her bag and luckily, she found her lucky hot pink comb in there. She pulled it out and she began to comb her hair with it.
Why did she call it lucky? Well, this comb helped her get a coffee date with Usui a year and a half before he left for England. She combed her hair before she left for school and when he touched it, he said that it was soft and very silky. After school, she was about to head to Maid Latte when he came up to her and asked if she wanted to hang out with him. She said sure and they went for coffee. She remembered the day like it was yesterday.
"U-Usui!" she exclaimed once she saw him at the end of the hall.
A big smirk was plastered on his face as he walked over to her.
"Hello, Ayuzawa." he began to sniff the air. "What's that sweet, fruity smell in the air?" he asked.
"Oh, that? It's my strawberry perfume." she told him.
Usui arched up an eyebrow in confusion.
"Perfume...? Since when does Kaichou wear perfume?" he asked as he sniffed her hair.
"Hey...! Since when did I say that you could- - -" he began to play with her hair.
"Your hair's soft and silky. Why is that?" he asked.
"My comb." she said, pulling out her hot pink comb from her bag and she showed it to him.
He took the comb out of her hand and looked at her, handing the comb back to her.
"Nice. It suits a pretty girl like you." he complimented, which made her blush furiously.
"You...You baka Usui!" she complained just as the bell rang.
Misaki walked out of the school building and she began to head to Maid Latte, where she works to get money to support her, her mom, and her sister Suzuna.
"Kaichou."
She mentally groaned as she turned around and saw Usui walking over to her.
"What do you want?" she asked, preparing herself to shoot back at him when he begins to insult her.
"Um...can we possibly hang out today? I'll take you out for coffee, perhaps?" he asked.
Misaki eyed him weirdly.
"Huh...? Since when do you ask me this kind of stuff?" she asked.
"Will you go with me or not?" he asked.
She simply shrugged.
"Sure, why not?" she said as the two walked off in search of a coffee shop.
Misaki smiled to herself as she put away her comb and she began to put lip balm on her lips.
"Ah, the memories..." she thought to herself.
"What kind of coffee do you have there?"
She glanced at the guy out of the corner of her eye.
"Um...Amaretto, why?" she questioned.
"Ah...I knew someone who loved amaretto coffee." he told her just as the guy pulled up at Hyoudou Fashion Incorporation.
"Here's your stop, Miss." the taxi driver told her.
"Oh, thanks." she said as she got out of the taxi with her coffee cup in her left hand.
She dug through her tote bag, pulled out 315.84 ¥, and handed the taxi driver that.
"Thanks, Miss." he said as he drove off.
Misaki stormed into the building and she got into the elevator. She pushed the button that had the number 24 on it.
As the elevator began to go up to Floor 24, which is the top floor, she began to think.
"How come Aoi is just now calling me to tell me about this? Seriously, Hyoudou?! When I get in there, I'm gonna...!" she shook her head as she pulled out her tube of light pink lipstick and she applied it while looking at herself in her compact mirror. "Anywho, I wonder what my new client is like...Normally, I work twice as hard and I go all out when these types of numbers come up. Where am I headed to next? London? Brazil? Vegas? Ontario? Oh, I can't wait...!" she thought to herself as the elevator arrived at Floor 24.
She got out and she walked into Aoi's office.
Aoi was sitting in a chair behind his desk and he was conversing with a woman that had black hair across from him.
"Okay, so here are our terms and this is our info. Sigh where the boxes that I made are and you'll be ready to go! So, my wedding planner should be here any minute- - -" he looked over the woman's shoulder and he smiled. "Hey, Ayu!" he greeted.
"Aoi-chan! Why the hell did you ahve to wait untl last minute to- - -" she was cut off by the woman.
"So," she turned around to face Misaki. "You must be Ayu." she said.
The woman had on a white blouse with a black miniskirt and white go-go boots. Her hair was put up in two ponytails.
Misaki's jaw almost dropped and her eyes were as wide as saucers once she saw what the woman looked like.
"Is...Is that me?!" she asked herself, shocked by the resemblance.
The woman smiled.
"You must be Ayu Mizawa! I'm Marlene Osbourne." Marlene introduced as she got up her seat and walked over to her.
Misaki smiled as she shook Marlene's hand.
"I am. How about we sit down?" she asked.
Marlene nodded as the two of them sat down in the seat across from Aoi.
"Where's your fiancé?" Misaki asked.
"Oh, him? He's reminiscing. He hasn't been here for eight years." Marlene explained.
"Huh...Well, that is quite interesting..." she noted as she grabbed a small neon green notepad and a black gel pen from Aoi's desk. "So! Where would you like to have your wedding?" Misaki asked.
"Well," Marlene twirled a piece of her hair around her finger. "Me and my fiancé have been talking about it last night and we decided on Santa Monica, if that's alright with you." she told her.
"May I ask where Santa Monica is?" Misaki asked.
"California. It's in the US." she told her.
"Wow...so, you're a long way from home..." Miksai trailed off.
Marlene nodded her head.
"Yes, it is. I'm from England, so I guess you could consider it a long way from home." Marlene pointed out.
What Marlene said struck a cord in her as she began to think of a certain green-eyed alien.
"England?! That's where Usui is now..." she trailed off in her thoughts.
"Mr. Hyoudou, I've signed the papers." Marlene said as she handed him the papers.
"Okay, thanks." Aoi put the stacks in a random pile. "So, basically what I do is help out Ayu. I do the dress designing while she works on catering, decorations, etc. Trust me, you have made a good decision. Ayu is a really god wedding planner and she will make your wedding the best memory in your life." Aoi explained.
"Man...say, how much do you earn?" Marlene asked, looking over at me.
"Usually, I get $150,000 a month. So, if you times that by twelve, then that basically means that I earn 1.8 million dollars a year." Misaki told Marlene.
"Wow~! You really are the best wedding planner in Tokyo!" Marlene exclaimed in awe just as her cell phone rang.
She answered her phone and stood up.
"Hello? Hey, honey. Wait...you're out front?! How did you find the building?! Oh, well that's obvious...Oh, I was just talking to Miss Ayu. Our wedding planner, silly! Okay...Okay, I'll be there in a sec. Bye." Marlene hung up.
"Would you like me to escort you?" Misaki asked.
Marlene nodded while smiling.
"Sure! I would really like that, Ayu." she said politely.
Misaki smiled as the two of them walked out of Aoi's office.
"She is so polite...I wouldn't mind working with her at all! At least she not like the one hundred and ninety-two girls that I was with..." Misaki trailed off as they got into the elevator and the elevator went down to the lobby.
"Thank you so much, Ayu! You're such a nice girl!" Marlene thanked her as they neared the lobby.
"Same goes for you, Marlene. I think this is probably going to be one of the best weddings that I have planned." Misaki pointed out.
"Aw, thanks." Marlene blushed bashfully. "So, I heard that you were asking about my fiancé. Is it alright if we come on Thursday?" she asked.
Misaki nodded.
"Sure! Today's Tuesday, so Thursday would be great. We still need to talk with your fiancé about a couple of things and then everything's set! I'm guessing that Aoi talked to you about everything else while I was running late?" Misaki guessed.
Marlene nodded.
"Yeah." she said just as the elevator dinged, signaling that they were at the lobby.
"Alrighty! We'll be seeing you two on Thursday." she said.
"Okay!" Marlene said as she raced over to her fiancé.
Misaki smiled as the elevator door closed.
But not before catching a glimpse of blonde hair and green eyes.
Me-And that's it!
Usui-Seriously? I wasn't even in this one!
Me-Or so you think. *winks*
Usui-Huh?
Erika-Oh...! Now I figured out what you did at the beginning of the chapter!
Me-Shhhhh! We need to keep it a secret!
Erika-Okay...
Me-Anyway, you guys must probably be confused about how this random Ayu Mizawa suddenly came into the picture and why I keep saying Misaki when I should be saying Ayu. Well, Ayu Mizawa is Misaki's name at work. How did I come up with it? Well, look here: Ayu comes from the first three letters in her last name. Mi comes from the first two letters in her first name and zawa comes from the last four letters in her last name when you chop the ayu part off. So, that's how I came up with it! Also, I say Misaki instead of Ayu because her actual name is Misaki and not Ayu. So, I hope I cleared things up!
Usui-If you would like to see another chapter, then you need to- - -
Misaki-R&R please! If you do, you get a virtual pie along with a mug of amaretto coffee! :)
