Rattlepaw is just an apprentice training to become Cragclan's next medicine cat. She'll do whatever it takes to uphold her position with pride for the sake of the clan. So when she finds herself becoming close to a former loner she and her mentor found, it slowly conflicts against her goal and who she wants to be to the clan. (Rattlepaw's name in title will change in the future.)
