The response to this is just plain AWESOME!
But still I hate it when people just fav and run...
All well, enjoy ^^
Kakashi looked at his young genin team with worry, "Hmm… Lately… your teamwork has been almost nonexistent."
Naruto was trying to pick a fight with the male Uchiha, Sakura was threatening the blond with death while the female Uchiha was pulling Sakura's cheeks for threatening her friend. Sasuke just turned away.
"You tell him," The orange ninja yelled out, "You're always messing up our teamwork Sasuke!"
Still walking, Sasuke retorted, "He was talking to you pinhead."
'Brother,' Ana thought, still pulling her teammates cheeks.
Sakura tried with all her mite to pry the girl's fingers off her face, she would have punched the girl to get her to let go but she could not. Sasuke made it known long ago that anyone who tries to hurt his sisters would forever be his enemies and Sakura did not want to take the risk. However, Ana was not aware of this and just assumed that her female teammate whom she was now giving premature wrinkles to was being a weak fighter. Which was not surprising. Sakura may have been top student at the academy but her grades on sparing matches were rather low.
Meanwhile the two boys were having a stare down.
The raven haired boy just stared at Naruto and spoke, "If you're tired of being behind me.
He turned his head, "why don't you get better than me?"
A feral growl hissed through Naruto's teeth.
The girls and their sensei watched the heavy tension build between the boys.
Sakura-who finally managed to get Ana's hands off her face- gulped and bit her nails, 'How do they manage it? They're in even worse terms than before.'
With that, Sasuke turned on his heels and walked off, Naruto flipped him off, Sakura bonked him on the head and Ana slapped the girl's very sore cheek-which hurt a lot.
'These four, 'Kakashi thought, ' if being shinobi doesn't work for them then maybe a comedy quartet gig might work.'
His inner thoughts were cut short when he looked up and saw an all too familiar falcon soar through the air. He sighed and closed his book.
"Okay, that's it. We'll call it a day right now," the Jonin announced, putting away his beloved book away, "Gotta hand in my report on today's mission."
Sasuke stopped his walk and turned his head once more, "Then sis and I are going home."
"Actually brother, I promised Naru that we eat ramen today," The other half stated-Naruto bowed his head in embarrassment when his nickname was said aloud, "Can you pick up Ayaka for me?"
'Sure thing.'
'Thanks.'
As he walked to the direction to the academy, Sakura used this as a chance to approach him. At first Naruto was upset but he did promise Ana a ramen 'date' so it was good.
"Hey! Sasuke-kun, wait up!" She called out, "I… was wondering if…"
The blonde and the raven-ette could both see the hearts in her voice. Sasuke just looked at her.
Sakura folded her hands and tilted her head in an attempt to act cute, "...If we, you know… you and i… just the two of us… could work on our, um… our... Teamwork?"
Having enough, Sasuke opened his blunt mouth, "you're as bad as Naruto."
The girl paled and looked as if she was holding up a boulder.
"Why waste your time flirting when you should be training? Heck, even his skills are better than yours!"
'Ouch!' Both Naruto and Ana thought, they watched as Sakura dropped her cute pose and droop down.
With a calm sigh, the Uchiha male turned and walked to the direction of the academy.
Meanwhile Sakura began to mope about what her crush had said, 'he's right… it doesn't matter what our mission is… they're all the same to me. I'm weakest one with no special skills. Ana's even stronger than me,' She thought, remembering that jaw breaking roundhouse kick the female Uchiha gave to one of the demon brothers during the land of waves incident.
She felt a hand on her shoulder, it was Ana.
"Hey if you want, you can join Naru and I on our 'date'," She said with a smile.
The pink-ette's melancholy mood quickly changed to that of resentment, "Why would I join you guys? Better yet, why are you dating that loser?"
Naruto spoke up, "We're not dating. We just call them 'dates'."
"An inside joke between us," She added, "Come on, what do you say?"
Sakura's answer came quick, "No!"
She then proceeded to walk off, fuming.
'What the hell does Sasuk-kun's sister see in that dead last?'
Both friends watched and sighed. No one could quite understand the friendship they shared.
"Forget her," Ana said, placing her hands on her hips, "Besides she'll just say that she's on another diet fad.
Naruto laughed, "Yeah you're right." He then gave it a thought, "But aren't diets bad for kids?"
"They are but you know her," Ana then began to pose like Sakura and began to talk in an annoying high pitched voice, "'Anything for Sasuke-kun!'"
That little act made them both laugh loudly. This was what made their friendship strong, laughter. Naruto and Ana always found ways to make each other laugh. Whether it was Naruto pulling pranks on the teachers at the academy or Ana impersonating Sasuke and making him flirt with the fan girls and watching from afar when it ended in a fiasco. Laughter always made the bad days lighten up knowing the childhoods they both had.
"Come one Ana let's go!" Naruto swung an arm around the girl's shoulder.
This made the girl smile, "Alright!"
The two friends began to venture to their favorite ramen stand when Ana made a sudden stop. She felt a cold chill run down her spine, her hair was parted so she felt it on her neck.
Naruto looked at her with confusion, "Ana what's up?"
The girl turned her head towards the direction of the chill she felt. Shaking it off, she replied.
"Nothing Naru," She replied with a smile.
"Big brother!" Ayaka ran to her older brother with pure delight. It was not every day for Sasuke to pick up his younger sister from the academy but during the times he did made the youngest smile.
Sasuke smiled when Ayaka gave him a hug, "Hey Aya-chan, how was your day?"
The child giggled and explained, "We learned some awesome ninjustu today and I was able to throw all my shuriken to the target during practice."
She was rewarded with a gentle pat on the head, "That's my girl."
For Sasuke, he wanted his little sister to be loved and encouraged during her days at the academy. Saying 'that's my girl' was part of it. Their father was not like that when he and Ana were children; always comparing them to their older brother.
That was going to be different for Ayaka, if she made excellent grades, she was going to be praised for it and she was encouraged to do her best. The encouragement seemed to work because the seven year old was only a couple of months closer to being eligible for early graduation.
"Where's big sister?" Ayaka looked over Sasuke's shoulders but did not see Ana.
"Out with Naruto," He answered, 'Shit! Wrong answer!'
"What?! Why is she with my future husband?!"
Before he could answer that childish question, he sensed something… off.
'Something's wrong. Got to take Ayaka home now.'
Please leave a review please!
Isn't Ayaka cute? She better be haha.
I'm trying to make Naruto smart but not too smart ^^
