Chapter 9: No more rumors

A/N: Hey all my lovelys! I'm so so so sorry! An annoying thing called life has been running me in circles lately and I haven't had hardly a chance at all to snag the laptop from my mom. Anyway I think I've kept you guys waiting long enough. Apologies oocness and enjoy! \(^u^)

Four hours. I'd been tied to that bed and the drug, whatever the hell he had given me had finally worn off. "God damnit...wake up already would you?" I muttered as I looked down at him. Sleeping like a curled up cat with his head in my lap.

Course if I could have reached my knife in my boot I would have but I'm not a contortionist. Once again I sighed and simply leaned my head back.

"Might as well get some sleep." I murmured as I closed my eyes.

Of course not even five minutes later, after I fell asleep, I felt someone shaking my shoulders a little.

"Rise and shine poppet!" Said a certain cheery british voice.

"Por merde quoi?" I mumbled with my eyes still closed.

"Please Fran?" He said, and adorable little whine in his voice.

I sighed and opened my eyes tiredly. "You know I've only been asleep for like three minutes right?"

He laughed a little. "I know dear."

"You…" I shook my head a little and sighed. Twisting my wrists in the a little. "Can you please undo these fucking ropes?"

He crossed his arms and fixed me with a scolding look. "Oi! Watch you language or I'll give you much worse."

I sighed a little. "Oui oui I will. Untie me and I'll give another piece of gold."

He looked at me unexpectedly and tapped one of his fingers.

"Ahh~ mon dieu...fine...can you untie me please?"

He smiled and leaned forward, kissing my nose as he reached up and cut the ropes. "There you go."

Rubbing my wrists and blushing a little. 'God damn how can this pink and blue eyed creature be so fucking adorable?'

"Anyway come on." He said as he got up.

I gave him a confuzzled look as I sat up. "Where are we going? And what for?"

He pulled me up and tossed me my boots and socks. "Out."

"Seriously?" I mumbled as I tugged boots on.

Once more I followed tiredly as he started dragging me along down the street. 'Well if anything he would be a good fighter, with how much energy he has.' I thought. As I tuned out of my thoughts I realized that he was talking.

"-wondering if you would?"

"Quoi?"

He frowned a little and looked up at me. (He had stopped pulling me and started walking beside me, clinging to my arm.) "Were you not listening?"

My cheeks got a little warm and I looked away a little. Not saying anything.

"I wanted to know a little about you. I mean I want to know what your story is. You know about and my background but I know almost nothing about you. So I was wondering if you would."

I thought about it for a minute and realized that he was right. Then I debated whether or not I should because he had already went to gone haywire once and that was just because. So I shook my head a little. "Non….I'm….uh not looking forward to spending another four hours tied to the headboards…."

"You're still mad about that?"

'Mon dieu….he's giving puppy eye...' "Please?" 'Don't give in….don't...' I sighed a little in defeat and facepalmed. "Merde...fine..."

He smiled widely and hugged my a little as we took a turn into the park. "Thank you Francois!"

"Oui oui whatever. Don't think I'll fall for it again though." I grumbled.

He giggled and smiled innocently. Tilting his head a little to look at me again. "Okay dear if you say so."

I blushed again and couldn't help but give a faint chuckle because we both knew it was a lie.

"Anyway, my childhood isn't really all that interesting. I grew up like any normal kid. Happy family, little house blah blah blah." I said with a wave of my hand. "Around Ten years old though I fell madly in love with a pretty little lass who'd been my best friend throughout our childhood, Jeanne. However, not long after I'd confessed to her she was taken, along with myself. We'd been sitting in a tree overlooking the vast lands below and I'd just gave her her first kiss. Next thing I knew she was gone. Someone had yanked her out of the tree and when I jumped down after her and saw some pirate bastard, scottish, holding her."

I closed my eyes as I talked. Seeing it like it was just yesterday. "I tried to stop the pink haired bastard but he knocked me out. The last thing I saw was him carrying her off to his cabin off to his cabin."

"When I woke up I was tied to the mast in the middle of the ship. Then I saw her tied to a different pole, she was so scared….."

Oliver whimpered a little and hugged his arm a little tighter. "Wh-what...happened then?"

I swallowed a little to keep my anger down and then continued quietly. "Set fire to the pole and they made me watch as she was burned alive. Tossing it into the ocean before it got out of control. That day was the day I swore vengeance against him as he dumped me in the ocean along with her. For three days I to a random piece of driftwood, searching for a way onto land. Skip ahead a couple years and suddenly fifteen years and already the most the second most feared captain. I made sure everyone knew my name, because I had finally caught the trail of that bastard. Apparently he had retired and decided to settle in with his parents and brothers. Well I wasn't about to let him just do that." I said with a laugh. "I showed up and wreaked havoc on his village with my crew. Any boy was he surprised! Ah the look on his face was priceless!"

Oliver hadn't said anything for the last couple of minutes so I looked down at him a little. "Allo? You okay lad?" I asked.

He glared up at me with tears welling in his eyes as he pulled away from me. "You know? I was really actually feeling a bad about doing this."

He clenched his fists. "But now I'm glad! You heard the man!"

Suddenly I had ten officers pinning me down as they bound me securely I struggled out and squirmed and tried to fight but they had caught me off guard, looking at the Oliver with hate, hurt, betrayal and confusion. "Ollie por merde quoi is the meaning of this?!"

"Shut up!" He snapped. "My village being destroyed? I can forgive that. But killing my brother right in front of me and everyone else who was innocent?! That does not fly with me love. And you know the struggles of owning a shop. You had a pretty price on your head." He said as he accepted three fat stacks of money. "Business is business dear."

I was still struggling against the people holding me down as I tried to get away when I felt something against the back of my head. Easily knocking me out.
