I hope you enjoy, this is just this first part and I need help figuring out what to do for all the cats!
Prologue, Cypressstar's Loss
Cypressstar looked down at the Shadowclan camp, taking in the slim bodies of cats. Leaf-Bare was hard on all of the clans, but Shadowclan was affected most of all. They had the smallest territory and right now, the least amount of warriors. She padded towards the center of the camp just as Crowtalon came out of the warriors den.
"Greeting Cypressstar," Crowtalon meowed as he padded up, "I was just about to send out some hunting patrols."
Cypressstar nodded, "Can I lead one?" she asked, wanting to get out of camp and hunt for her already starving clan.
"Sure" Crowtalon rearranged the patrols and watched as they padded away.
Cypressstar flicked her tail and led her patrol towards sharp pines, "Cherrywhisker, take Russetpaw over to the pond and see if you can catch some frogs," she ordered turning and sniffing the air for prey.
Redstorm looked around just as Russetpaw's thick ginger tail disappeared into the undergrowth, "Look," he whispered softly, pointing his tail at thrush who was nibbling at some seeds calmly.
Cypressstar nodded and circled around the thrush. She flicked her tail at Redstorm to make sure he was ready and yowled, bursting out of the bushes. The thrush was startled by her and started flying up, right into the paws of Redstorm who was sitting on the lowest branch of a pine tree.
"Great catch!" Cypressstar meowed happily as Redstorm jumped down from the tree. The rest of the hunting patrol went well and they were congratulated when they got back to camp carrying a thrush, a rabbit, and two frogs.
Cypressstar looked around excitedly as cats padded up to the freshkill pile to eat, this was the first time in days that they had enough food for every cat.
Her happy thoughts vanished as Sparrowheart burst into the clearing panting, "Thunderclan has changed the borders!" he yowled and every cat in the clearing stood up bristling.
Okay, so I've got some ideas, but I still need recommendations! Please R&R, I need the help.

Questions:
1) Would you prefer if I did this in first person or should I keep on doing 3rd person?
2) I've got two cats in mind for main characters, Cypressstar and Icebreeze. Who should be the main characters in Thunderclan and Windclan?
3) Should I keep going with Cypressstar, or switch out between a few different characters?
