Hey guys! How ya doin'? I'm planning to post two chapters on a single day because I want to end this story before New Year starts. This story has been created since last year so I don't want it to be finished for quite a long time.

I can't believe we made it this far and I want to thank all of my fellow reviewers, favoriters and followers for the support and sticking to me til' the end.

On to the story!

Rainboom345: What can I say? I'm the master of horror writing! Funny thing is, that I hate watching horror movies ToT You'll find that out soon enough ;)

The entire gang stared at the giant dragon, their mouths wide open. The colossus looked at them with its cobalt blue eyes before turning into raging red as anger surged throughout the beast. A terrifying roar escaped from the dragon's unmoving clenched teeth.

"OH MY SWEET-LOVING CHOCOLATE FUDGE!" Mabel screamed in terror. "What the heck is that thing?! What is it going to do to us?! Where did Bill leave us?! WHY AM I ASKING MYSELF THESE QUESTIONS KNOWING I WON'T GET THE ANSWERS?!"

Wendy grabbed ahold of the panicked brunette's shoulders. "Mabel! Calm down! If you freak out, this monster will know we're still alive! Play dead!"

However, the dragon roared ferociously, its roar echoed and shaking across the plains. It arched its wings, lifting itself in the air as it sat on its back legs, preparing to crush the gang with its large front paws.

"Apparently not." Wendy continued. Dipper searched the whole area and saw a large fallen pillar, large enough to hide them. "Quick! Behind that pillar!" He urged. The others and him sprinted toward the pillars for their lives. The dragon, thus, landed its paws on the ground with such impact and force, creating a humongous shockwave that sent the gang off their feet. They crashed near the fallen pillars.

Soos weakly sat up. "Aw, doods. I think my back is broken."

The gang crawled behind the pillar and hid. The dragon moved its head around, searching for its prey everywhere. While the colossus kept searching, the gang huffed out their breaths.

"How... are we gonna defeat that thing?!" Mabel blurted out between heaving breaths. Dipper rolled his eyes. "Well, we won't be stuck here if it weren't for a certain someone to do something so stupid!"

Rosie stiffened, feeling his anger and words sending directly at her. Her heart pounding, she shot him an innocent look. "So do you think it's my fault? I don't know it will caused this!"

"You have to be glad that it isn't the worst! Rosie, how could you?! You know better than to make a deal with a demon that so happens to be Bill!"

"Hey now, I don't even know him at all! He seems really nice when I met him."

"I can't believe that you could be so stupid! If you turned down the favor, Heather could still be alive! I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't. Because she DIDN'T!"

"Dipper, I -"

"I should have known not to trust you."

Rosie's eyes widened, feeling her heart sank by the weight of broken trust that has dropped onto it. She felt herself in the dark again, with no light to guide her through the cruel empty dark tunnel. Her lips started trembling as her eyes began forming with tears.

Mabel looked at her twin. "Guys, don't fight."

"Yeah," Wendy agreed. "Rather than you two fighting, why don't you try to find a way to defeat this dragon?"

Dipper shook his head. "Face it, guys. We lost. Bill won this round."

Soos gave out a huge gasp, putting his hand where his heart were. Wendy was incredulous. "Dude, you've beaten Bill twice before. What's up with this round?"

Mabel nodded swiftly and gravely. "Yeah! There must be a way! We just need to keep digging! Everything has a weakness or a way to be defeated."

"Mabel's right, dude. Don't give up now." Soos agreed, smiling at Dipper. Mabel glanced at the man-child. "Soos, come with me to the war."

Soos dramatically nodded, holding the brim of his cap. "Let's die on our feet, than die on our knees." And with that, the duo ran towards the 'battlefield' and was now out of sight.

Dipper sighed, kicking a random stone near him. Wendy twitched his lip. "Dipper, even if it seems that hope are lost, there's one thing we shouldn't forget: Never give up."

The younger twin groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Urgh, Wendy, we're not talking about the brightly-colored poster boy."

"Hey, at least take his motto as a lesson. We shouldn't give up even in times when you think that there's nothing you can do. There's always a solution for everything. Well, except for death," Wendy chuckled, memories knocking into her head. She fell silent for a moment before she shook away the thoughts. "Anyways, that's all what we need to do. Never give up. Rosie, you're with me on this?"

The young girl quickly wiped the tears away from her eyes before anyone could see, but Dipper noticed it. Rosie looked up at Wendy who has an encouraging smile, and slightly nodded.

"I'm with you."

Wendy's smile grew wider. He faced the twelve year old. "What about you, Dipper?"

The younger twin arched his eyebrow, his gaze averted to Rosie who tried herself to smile. She was surprised when Dipper flashed a small gentle smile at her. The boy faced Wendy. "Way ahead of you."

Wendy smirked before taking out her axe that she's been keeping on her belt the whole time. "Now, let's kick some dragon butt! And then, kick some triangle butt. If he has one."

The trio rushed to the battle arena where they spotted Soos and Mabel screaming and running around in circles, avoiding the claws and the large wings from the dragon. Dipper could hear his sister yelling, "I swear this is a bad idea!"

"I agree, hambone!" Came Soos's terrified reply.

"Now where do we start?" Dipper inquired, glancing at Wendy. The teen twitched her lip, determination never leaving her face. "There must be a reason why the beast wears armor. We must try to find a way to break it."

Rosie shook her head in disbelief. "How is that possible for us to break it?"

"The armor is made up of stone. Stone can break, right? So we have to break its armor," Wendy turned to Dipper and Rosie. "You two tried break its armor on the left while I break its armor on the right. Soos and Mabel could distract it."

Dipper and Rosie nodded, running to the left side of the dragon while Wendy told Soos and Mabel the strategy before she tried breaking the armor on the right side. Dipper and Rosie stood a feet away from the dragon, the latter tapping his chin, lost in thought.

"Okay, stone was hard to break with bare hands. I've tried once, which injured my palms in the process. So we need a weapon to do so." Dipper murmured to himself. Rosie curled her lip, looking around for a weapon. Until her eyes fell upon a certain object laying near a broken column.

Rosie pointed the object. "With that?"

Dipper's eyes moved at where she pointed, only to grin when he laid his eyes on the said object. "This is great!" He ran to it before crouching down and grabbed the object which turned out to be a two-handed sword.

The handle of the sword is rendered in the form of a horse head with flared nostrils and teeth. It is also enriched with rubies, emeralds and gold. The slightly curved blade has a bulbous tip and chiseled central ridge. The long shiny blade gave a streak of light when positioned in the direction of the Sun.

"Maybe this could work!" Dipper said with exhilaration. He held the sword with two hands and began racing towards the armor on the creature's elbow. After giving out a battle cry, he swung the sword in an arc. The sword hit the armor, but there's no damaged at all. The young boy frowned. "What? Why isn't it working?" He began smacking the armor with the sword repeatedly, creating metallic noises which draw the attention of the creature.

The dragon gazed below, its glowing eyes turning red with anger. It gave a thunderous roar and Dipper had to cover both of his ears to avoid his eardrums being exploded. After the roar died down, Dipper looked up and his gaze met with the creature's horrifying ones. The dragon lifted a paw and began to swing it across Dipper.

The boy ducked, which fueled the monster's anger because of its defeat. Suddenly, the dragon felt stones hitting at the back of its neck and turned to see Soos and Mabel throwing rocks at it. Angered, the dragon lifted itself on its back legs and tried to crush its prey again. Mabel and Soos hugged each other and screamed. Their scream was so loud that it sent flocks of birds to fly into the air.

Oddly, the colossus cringed by the ear-piercing scream. It missed hitting its paws on the ground, therefore losing its balance and crashed onto the ground. Soos and Mabel paused for a moment, trying to process what just happened. Wendy noticed something and bellowed into the air so the others could hear. "Guys, I think this monster hates piercing noises. Maybe that's its weakness! We should exploit it!"

"Hates piercing noises, eh?" Mabel grinned, narrowing her eyes. "Soos, ya thinking what I'm thinking?"

"I got what ya thinking hambone." Soos replied. The duo rushed to elsewhere and Wendy wondered what they're doing. The dragon struggled to get up but with the weight of its wings and itself, it made it harder to do so. The colossus huffed, folding its wings to reduce the weight and tried to get up. This time, it's much easier. The dragon finally stood up on four until it heard a voice from behind it.

"Hey, you ugly beast!"

The monster turned and glimpsed Mabel and Soos on the platform down below. There's a karaoke machine near Soos and Mabel with a mic in hand that attaches to the karaoke machine. Dipper smiled after realizing what she's doing and praised her for being a genuis.

"You hate piercing noises, eh?" Mabel taunted, smirking from ear to ear. "Now why don't you take a piece of this!? Soos, gave me the loudest, most ironic techno music you got!"

Soos switched on the karaoke machine, checked the list of songs and pressed one that will definitely make the monster regretted for messing with The Mystery Band.

Mabel nodded at his choice. She grinned at the dragon before she sang with the loudest tone she could ever muster (while still making it sound good, of course).

Friday night,

And we're gonna party til' dawn

Don't worry, daddy,

I got my favorite dress on!

The dragon cringed and thus, beginning to lose its balance. It tried to block out the sounds but failed.

We're rollin' to the party,

The boys are lookin' our way

We just keep dancin',

We don't care what they say

And all the boys are eatin' up on my face

The monster roared, feeling pain surging throughout it. Wendy gazed at the colossus carefully, and excitement began bubbling inside her after seeing cracks forming on its chest armor. She gasped. "Mabel, it's working! It's working!"

"Keep going, Mabel!" Dipper and Rosie encouraged simultaneously.

The brunette nodded proudly before continuing:

We're takin' over the dance floor!

Ooooh oh! Girls do what we like

Ooooh oh! We're takin' over tonight

Ooooh oh! Girls do what we like

Ooooh oh! We're takin' over tonight!

Takin' over tooonight!

All of a sudden, the armor on the dragon's chest burst like a bomb was detonate, revealing white fur with a symbol glowing on it, hinting the vital spot. The colossus was stunned as it collapsed on the ground, feeling ultimately weak to stand up.

"This is our chance!" Wendy hollered and from the corner of her eye, she saw Dipper dashing towards the dragon's weak spot. He let out a battle cry and stabbed the dragon's vital spot with the sword. Black blood spurted out of its wound, its blood pooling around like muck near Dipper's feet.

Black blood speckled on Dipper's face and attire but he kept deepening the sword into the wound. More blood sprayed everywhere. Dipper felt fatigue slowly consuming him. Minute by minute, his eyes drooped, his sight enveloped into utter darkness. And all he hears was the dying yowl of the dragon before everything went silent.

Was that crickets churring in the cold night? Was that cold breeze caressing his cheeks?

Consciousness began to overtake him, Dipper felt his brain and mind hurting and suffocating. He could hear his heart pounding on his temple and blood pulsing through his veins. It was already night-time. He wearily opened his eyes only to see the first thing he ever wanted to see: The Mystery Shack.

He rubbed his eyes, unsure if it's true. When he found out it is, he sat up, feeling overjoyed before realization started to hit him like a brick wall. Was the battle with the colossus a dream? Was it real? Was they really dreaming all this time?

He told himself to save that for later. The young boy looked down and saw Mabel and the others lying unconscious around him. He kneeled down beside his twin sister and shook her. "Mabel! Mabel! Wake up!"

Dipper could hear his sister wittering quietly about candy and gummy koalas. He shook her more hard this time and raised his voice. "Mabel, WAKE UP!"

"Argh! I'm up! I'm up!" Mabel woke up, her hands up in surrender. As she slowly blinked open her eyes, the first thing she saw was her brother's face. "Dipper? Wait, where are we? I thought we're battling with a dragon of some sort."

Dipper nodded. "We were, but I guess we've woken up after I killed the colossus. What's good is that we're back to Gravity Falls!"

Mabel didn't say anything after that. She immediately stood up and set her eyed on the shack in front of her. She held her cheeks. "You're right. We're back," She gasped. "Grunkle Stan!" She rushed toward the shack and went inside.

Dipper began waking up the others and soon, they followed Mabel into the shack. They approached to the gift shop and everything was quiet and dim. There's no light on anywhere and a living soul in it. There's also no sign of Grunkle Stan any where.

Soos anxiously looked at Dipper. "Dude, this shack is all deserted. Don't you think Bill might have..." the man-child trailed off, unable to force the word out. Dipper shook his head in disbelief. "No, it can't be. He might not!"

Wendy and Rosie exchanged glances. The young boy placed a hand on his head as a headache was beginning to form. "No, he c-can't."

Rosie looked down guiltily. Her whole body started to tremble with her inevitable mistake. They heard footsteps from upstairs as Mabel got down the stairs, her apprehension clearly shown on her sweaty features. "Where's Stan...?"

The gang fell quiet, not sure whether they should respond. Mabel got the messsage, though she tried hard not to believe it. "Don't tell me..." She broke off when Dipper spoken. "I'm sorry, Mabel."

The brunette's eyes widened as her heart missed a beat. "No! That's highly unlikely! You can't just make false allegations when you have no evidence to prove it! Stan's still here. I just know it. He's probably shoplifting in the middle of the night or sleeping or he may doing the bathroom outdoors. The way nature intended! He is not -"

Soos scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, dawg."

Tears eventually pricked her eyes, streaking down her cheeks. "No. No. NO! Grunkle Stan's not -" She broke off, terrified to voice the word "- how can you be so sure? He might still be alive! You never know! He -"

"Mabel!" Wendy cut her off, clutching the brunette's shoulders. The teen stared at the girl's teary gaze. The tears overflowed like a bathtub constantly filled with water. Wendy could feel herself crying as well, her chest aching at every sob that choked her trembling throat. "Oh, Mabel..." She cradled the brunette's head, the two silently crying with each other. Mabel buried her face in the teen's shoulder, soaking the sleeve of Wendy's shirt.

Soos's heart ached as well, realizing the man he see as a father figure was now gone. He didn't even get the chance to say goodbye. The man-child wiped the tears away and slowly walked off into the nearest room he can find.

Dipper sighed deeply, feeling his own tears brimming in his eyes. He looked away and spotted Rosie sitting down on the porch, feeling utterly downtrodden. He decided to walk up to her. "Hey, Rosie."

"Hey, Dipper." Rosie mumbled, her words came out barely inaudible but Dipper was able to make it out. He sat beside her, studying her counterance. "What's with the look?" He asked.

The girl wiped her tears with her palm. She sniffed. "You're right, Dipper. It's my fault the entire time. I caused this. I caused all of this! I bring worst misfortunes to everyone. Including my very own parents."

Dipper looked at her with a sad gleam in his brown eyes. Rosie went on, "No wonder everyone treats me horribly. I'm a bad person. What else do I expect? Murder? Yes. Death? Yes. It happened all because of me. I shouldn't just live in this world if that's what I'm supposed to do: Ruining people's lives. It seems that Bill is only what I have now."

"Rosie, I pity you," Dipper cut in. "Ever since we offered you to join the band. When you really become a part of it, Mabel and I know you're helpless, judging by the way you hide things from us and acted completely insecure. But there's only one thing I'm just curious about: What's up with your parents?"

This made the poor girl hesitant. Should she tell him? Should she? Rosie sighed. It's now or never. Dipper understands her and helped her from the very beginning. Without him and his sister, who knows where she would be sitting currently. She heaved a deep breath and began telling her life before the band.

"My family and I were a really happy family. We did a lot of activities together. I didn't live in Gravity Falls back then. I lived in Portland. I had so many friends in my old school. They were all nice. Heather was actually one of them. And I'm technically the smartest kid in school. Everything was peaceful until my parents fell sick under a very rare disease. Doctors couldn't find any explanation. They told me that my parents won't live long enough. I was depressed and took my parents away from our home to avoid any questions from my uncles, aunties and cousins.

"We moved to Gravity Falls and began to live in an abandoned house in the Old Town. I even changed schools. The illness of my parents started to worsen, and gave enough impact to my psyche, turning me into the most insecure, quiet freak in my new school. What surprises me is that Heather was there as well. Instead of treating like a friend she used to be, she bullied me out of shame. Heather always like talented people, not the people in the bottom of the list. I was so depressed with everything in my life. I tried to kill myself until one certain demon came and stopped me. He told me that he would like to help and offer me a deal with a large price to pay. I didn't actually care about anyone during that time but I was unsure. Bill allowed me to take my time. As the weeks progressed and I met you guys, that's when I realized that I can make the deal while telling him not to hurt you. And that's how it started."

Dipper was seemingly captivated. Who knew that she could have a very tragic backstory? Mabel was right again: The acts of a person has a reason. He didn't notice that he is so quick to judge. He rubbed Rosie's shoulder comfortingly, reassuring her. "It's alright, Rosie. It's alright."

After a few minutes of comfort, Dipper decided to stand up and left. He was about to walk into the door when he heard Rosie whispered. "You're the only person I can count on now."

Dipper flashed a small smile before going back inside the shack. He saw Wendy in her usual spot behind the counter. He sat down on a barrel nearby, resting his chin on his palm. Wendy told him that Mabel went upstairs to cool herself up after her emotional breakdown, in case Dipper was wondering where she was. Soos however was in Stan's room. He gazed at himself in the mirror, sadness overwhelming him as he put Stan's fez on his head.

On the roof lies a broken Mabel who sat in a fetal position. The moon was so bright and round like a tennis ball, creating shadows by the trees from its moonlight. The stars were not shy to show their light in the night sky. Mabel was surrounded with peaceful silence but her heart was swallowed by the mouths of negativity and sadness. She couldn't shake the feeling away.

Your concrete heart isn't beating

And I tried to

Make it come alive

No shadows

Just red lights

And I'm here to rescue you, whoa oh

Mabel sang with such melancholy in her voice. Her heart pounded rhythmically with the beats of the lyrics.

I'm still alive

I'm still alive

But cannot apologize, no

A tear fell from her eye, splashing the palm on her hand. Mabel sniffed, her eyes burning from too much tears. Her chest hurt again like an arrow pierced into it with poison. As she tried to cool herself a little, a sudden chilly wind stung her eyes.

"Nice singin' you got there, Shooting Star." A cold voice echoed through the misty wind. Mabel shuddered, feeling the total numbness of her feet as the whole landscape turns gray. She spun around and fell on her backside when she made eye-contact with Bill Cipher.

The dream demon chuckled wryly. "Don't be afraid, Shooting Star! I'm not gonna hurt you. Besides, you have a nice voice there. It tears me up!"

"Is it because it saddens you or it saddens you because it's horrible?" Mabel inquired, perplexed. Bill narrowed his gaze, thinking that it's definitely the former. "That doesn't matter. What really matters is that a desperate little girl needs my help."

Mabel was incredulous. She knew that he was referring to her. "I do not! Why would I need your help?! You killed Grunkle Stan!"

Bill's eye widened as he raised his hands in a 'calm down' manner. "Whoa, whoa! Who says anything about killing? I haven't killed anyone! Yet."

"Yes, you did killed Stan! And don't get me started with Heather and Miss Evan!" Mabel hollered angrily to the demon. Bill tapped his 'chin', his eye squinted. "It seems Rosie told you the details already. But hold your horses! Stan is alright, trust me. He's busy with his work. As usual."

Mabel pointed at Bill with an accusing finger, her expression boils with anger. "That answer does not satisfy me!"

Bill rolled his eye. "Then what do you want, kid? A deal? Now that's what I'm talking about!"

The brunette flinched at this sudden demeanor, her eyes blinking with curiosity. Bill put an arm around Mabel's shoulder. "How about this? I'll give you a simple (well, I don't call that simple anyway) task and if you manage to get through it, you and your pesky allies are safe."

"What's the catch?"

"The catch is that if you loses, you need to help me get the code for the vending machine."

"Code for the vending machine? What's -"

"I'll tell you if you lose anyway. So, deal?" He gave her his hand which had now enveloped with blue flames. Mabel stared at it, biting her lip. Deal or no? She knew better not to trust him. There's so many tricks up his sleeve that she won't see it coming. She glared at the demon and crossed her arms. "How can I trust you with this? What if you betrayed me near the end of the deal? I would not make a deal with you unless you keep your word."

She could see the frustration in his eye as he started trembling with pure anger. He immediately cool down, massaging his eyelid. "You got me, kid." He sighed. "Alright, I'll make it real this time!"

Mabel stared at him, her eyes widened. The triangle snapped his fingers and a contract appears followed by a pot of ink and feather pen. "This is a contract," he explained. "This contract is very crucial in the world of mine. Any demons who signed this contract and made a bargain, thus they can't go back on their word. When it's done, it's done and that's that."

The brunette could detect the dejected tone residing in the end of his voice. He seems regretful for doing this, Mabel thought. "You cannot fight back the words of the contract in your demise." He finished. Mabel smirked and taunted him. "Then what are you waiting for?"

Bill sneered at her. He dipped the feather pen on the pot of ink before writing it to the given place for the signature. "I... promised." He murmured. He shifted the contract towards Mabel, who looks at him with confusion. He sighed. "You have to sign as well. Sign it below mine."

Mabel nodded and began signing it. Once she's done, the feather pen and pot of ink disappeared into thin air but the contract remained and soon ignited with blue flames. Bill extended his hand. "Seal the deal?"

"Seal the deal."

They finally shook hands. Their handshake ignited with blue fire, creating heat around their hands. Bill pulled back his hand and winked which looked like an overdramatic blink.

"I'll see you in midnight then!" There was a bright flash and soon the demon disappeared, leaving Mabel staring him off in the distance.

I don't own the songs in this chapter. All goes to the singer and writers and the companies. For those who are wondering, the first song is called Takin' Over Midnight and is sung by Mabel in Scary-Oke. The second is called Still Alive by Lisa Miskovsky from the game Mirror's Edge. It's a really emotional and amazing song.

Also, the battle with the dragon colossus is a reference from the game Shadow of the Colossus. I really love that game and I thought I want to make the gang fight one.

Onwards to the next chapter!
