Smiles; Why am I not surprised?
Jester: You shouldn't be so surprised I told you we were doing an update today. Hello once again everyone we're here once again to provide an update. Ok lets jumped right into the only review we got. Sport21 yes ok we'll admit we were rushed at the end. We wanted to reach the deadline and also I had to leave for work that day. But still we hope to hear from more of you our kind readers. So here's another chapter in hopes.
Smiles; Hoping is not always fun.
It was strange Ava didn't know where she was all she could feel was warmth. Opening her eyes Ava found that she was inside a wooden home. Lifting the fur lined blanket she found that she was naked as the day she was born. Looking around all she found was her amulet of the Tiger and a long robe. Putting both on Ava began to look around the room. It had no windows but one door. Triggering her tiger amulet Ava was able to smell through most of the walls. She found that there were several women walking the halls armed as best she could tell. And several others through out the large building. Pushing the door to her room she slipped down the hall. Ava kept her claws at the ready for anyone who spotted her. Walking the halls more Ava smelt something odd turning she saw a six legged dog sized creature. Its head was pressed in and had a jagged under bit.
The creature growled and charged at Ava. But instead of running something primal came out of the teen she growled warning the creature. However it still charged so Ava release a loud tiger roar. The Creature stopped in its tracks and began to whimper showing it now knew better then to challenge her. Walking over Ava petted the creature showing she was not mad. But smells and hearing the sound of bare feet running from various points Ava had to hide. Running down a side hallway with the creature close behind Ava stopped to look around the corner. To her surprise she was several of the ash skinned colored women from the dimensional window. They had all the same features but their heights were much different. The women towered at nearly seven or eight feet tall. Ava was wondering how she was going to pass them when another kind of woman walked up the stairs. She had long brown fur like hair going along her back, arms, and legs, Her skin color was a very murky green.
The women began to speck to each other in a language Ava could not understand. As the women followed the other woman Ava went down the stairs. Trying her best to keep to the shadows. Finding an open window Ava looked through to see a seaside city. The whole city didn't have buildings taller then seven stories. But the design of the city reminded Ava of the renaissance. Jumping down to the ground Ava snuck around the foliage of the place. But she didn't expect a large group of female to run from the main gates she was trying to get through. Two guards spotted her specking once again in the strange language. Ava growled and bared her claws ready to fight if need. But the females did not advance. They seemed like they were in awe at whom they saw. The same word began to leave their lips and slowly each female took a knee bowing as if respecting her. Ava was confused until the woman with fur along most of her bodyguards came outside. She was holding a cup of smoking liquid in her hands and held a warm smile across her face.
Extending the cup to Ava she took it but before she drank it the woman stopped her. She began to motion for Ava to inhale the fumes and that's what she did. Unlike Peter senses Ava's were much higher. Ava dropped the cup cursing at how foal it smelt. Voice, "I terrible sorry Divine one I should have said something at how foal the contains of the all speck sap is". Ava, "Wait I can understand you? And what's this about Divine one"? Woman, "Where are my manor's I am Luif Chieftess of the Sea clan. We are the daughters of the Goddess of ZLK. And you are the Divine spirit of the animals of ZLK". Ava was lost for words but Luif told her to come back inside for a better explanation. Luif, "For many years the five daughter clans have waited for the day when the Goddess would send us the Divine spirit. And now after Twenty thousand years here you are. It truly is and honor my Divine".
Ava, "I'm sorry but I'm not a Goddess you see I was brought here because of an accident from my world… Wait was there anyone else with me when you found me"? Luif, "No my Divine only you where inside the woods when the flash hit the forest". Ava, "Look someone else came with me he must be looking for me by now". Luif, "Does this male threaten you my Divine"? Ava felt the woman become more alert as she spoke. Ava, "No he's close to me he's protected me a number of times and I've been doing the same recently". Luif, "Is this male your mate"? Ava blushed saying, "Well kind of in a way…" Luif, "Do not worry my Divine we will help you find your male. But first we must call the other Clans. For we must celebrate on your arrival to us". Ava, "But I told you I'm not a spirit of these Goddesses of yours. I just a normal human". Luif, "But my Divine you wear the amulet of the spirits. And you made a Seef beast submit to you. Please understand that even though you may not see yourself as a spirit.
"To us you are and you are our hope… please won't you be the hope for my people in this dark times"? Ava, "What do you mean by dark times"? Luif, "There are many factions in our world of ZLK. We of the Clans stand outside of the world's problems. But they continued to try and bring their problems to our borders. Men have tried to fight back against the oppression of the League. But they are so afraid of what will happen to them they just choose to liberate anyone they can. And hope too that the League won't come after them. Word is that a new member has been showing great skills in each of their assaults to free other men. But even now it is not enough. More Empties are walking through our world and they care not for whose side you are on. But we ask you Divine please give our Clan's hope for a new joyous year".
Ava, 'I know Peter would be looking for me by now. But if I just left these people what will that say for me as a hero. We help people but I have to make them see me as a person not a god like spirit'. Ava, "Ok I'll help but please call me Ava. I'm not a spirit but as a hero I won't back down when people ask for my help". Luif nodded saying, "My lady Ava I understand that you're a kind heart but the clans wish to see strength behind that kind of compassion. So please be ready for what the Clan chieftesses ask of you. Also it is a pleasure to meet you my lady Ava". Ava, 'Well it's a start'. Ava looked down at herself just remembering that she was naked underneath the long robe she was wearing. Seeing Ava's distress Luif called a servant to bring her clothes to wear. Ava slipped on the long white dress and slid on sleeves. Luif then placed a detachable hood onto Ava's head saying, "My lady Ava I am truly happy you will help my people".
Ava, "No problem as a hero it's my job to help anyone. I know it'll be hard for me to adjust to this who spirit idea. But my friend's been a hero longer then me and I'm sure he wouldn't turn his back either". Luif, "You friend seems to be one who is loyal and caring". Ava, "He is I just hope he's ok". Luif motioned for Ava to follow and outside the home they found a carriage but pulling the carriage was raptor like creatures. But their skin was more smooth then scaly. And their front claws weren't short they were proportional with the creatures bodies. Ava sat in the carriage and placed her tiger amulet over her right breast. After about a ten-minute ride the carriage stopped and they continued on foot. Looking around the different kind of women that lived in the Clan's as Luif put it really began to show. Luif whispered to Ava, "My Lady please do not talk about you male friend. If you must speck of him do so after the Clan's see what you can do".
Ava nodded her head understanding what she needed to do. Stepping into the vine covered meeting room Ava looked around the room. Luif's sat next to a few women that looked like her. Various patches of fur growing out into long lush hair. In all Ava saw four other kinds of women inside the meeting room. One Clan Chieftess looked like a Predator or as Peter would correct Ava by calling them Yautja. But they were missing the insect like mandibles and their heads were humanoid. But their hair was braided back into large bundles that looked like they could reach the floor. Next to her was the same kind of women she saw that helped Luif earlier. But this Clan Chieftess was tall and she had four arms. Not someone Ava could easily face in a fight. Next came the other two Chieftesses who were surprisingly similar. But they had different colored skins. One had green forest colored skin while the other had ocean blue colored skin. The blue skinned females had no visible ears, while the green skinned women hand wider ears.
Finally stopping at their hands the blue skinned women had four fingers and webbed feet. While the green skinned women had elongated hands and strong looking shins. Luif, "Please remove you veil Spirit". Ava slid the veil back from her head letting it fall to her shoulders. Smiling Ava bowed gently saying, "It is a pleasure to meet you all Chieftesses of ZLK". Smiles and looks of surprise erupted throughout the room as Luif and Ava began the Clan meeting.
Five month Time skip
Ava was circling her challenger a female of the Ellipse Clan. The female that looked like Yautja were called Jall's. The ash-skinned women were called Linteer's. Luif's kind was called the Bestul's. And the two remaining Clan's often called themselves Gess's or Less's. Still after all these months of helping guide the Clan's many questioned Ava's belief that men weren't all idiotic tools. This Jall was proof of that but she had a few challenges over her time in this world. Ava's amulet seemed to have enhanced in power with affected her. Ava's claws were longer, her teeth were even more animalistic, and her body hair would wrap around her body in the pattern of a tiger. But instead of her normal black hair her body hair turned white as snow. Only the hair on Ava's head remained black.
The Jall jumped at her with a spear powered by the unique crystals that have around the island. Only warriors remained along the mainland to make sure no one tried to take the Clans land. Ava slid under the Jall's feet and elbowed her shins. The Jall tried to swing her weapon but Ava caught the spears neck and the Jall's neck in her claws. Ava growled loudly saying, "Dear you should have listened I don't kill but I believe in protecting my own. Remember that for the next fight will not be with me". Letting the woman go she away walked away Luif gave a gentle smile to Ava seeing that once again the young hero or Spirit as some still called her. Refused yet again to spill blood in a pointless argument over how they should handle the constant attempt the League sends to their borders.
Ava, "Luif what has been happening over on the mainland too has the League so one edge"? Luif was walking alongside Ava but alongside them was the Jall's Chieftess Zll'fu. Zll'fu, "They are scared Lady Spirit. They wish to force the war to us so we join them but we have kept them away. They have even tried to tempt us with men. But thanks to Chieftesses Zuu'st and Slee'fl we have been able to keep a small but good contact with the men. They have agreed to take any boys our sisters birth while we keep the girls". Ava, "I wish I could help find a more progressive way to stop the League from going to such extremes against the men. But from what the scouts bring back I doubt that many would listen. If the League cares only for wealth and power then it will hurt them in the end. Those kinds of leaders are often faced with rebellion from within often from those they have oppressed. But I don't see the men wanting to battle the League while they still have to deal with the Empties.
"Are the Empties still pressing into the League territory"? Luif, "Yes they are I heard several weeks ago that they attacked a League school. They thought the men were attacking them but it turned out they were there to liberate the imprisoned men. Also from what some of the witnesses say the odd warrior known as S or something has yet again made an appearance. They say he moves and fight like no other man. My Spirit do you think it is the friend you are looking for"? Ava, "It sounds like him but I won't know for sure unless I see a photo or image of the man they call S. If anything it could be someone who is pretending to be my friend. But for now I want to help the Clans". As they stopped walking Ava looked out at the sea bridge. Today they raised the long connecting bridge from the deep waters. And allowed new warriors to change shifts with the warriors that needed a rest. Often those who remained on the mainland for over three months would come back happy to see their families and friends.
But soon a woman road up panic was in her harsh breath. Female, "My Spirit the Empties they are being controlled by a League battalion. They are marching to the borders as we speck". Ava, "What then they've been behind he attacks on their own people why"? Luif, "Most likely to kill those who defect or seem to be a traitor in their eyes. Lady Ava what are we to do"? Ava, "If they will attack we will fight back. But we will make sure we capture the League warriors that don't die in the battle. And please remind everyone that they League my be warmongers. But some of them are still people and should be trialed as such. Even if they are told to be something else or something worse".
