Jester; Well seeing as no one wants to leave us a comment. I think well-cut things short. That's right after this chapter Spider for life has one more chapter. And once you get to the ending you'll either be sad. Or you probably have a whatever face. Either way we did this to try and see if more people would comment and give us their thoughts. The following day Peter and Ava walk with each other hands intertwined. But soon Luif told them that their Brothers and Sisters were waiting. Nodding the two walked back to the meeting area for both sides. Less's Chieftess, "Now that the Spirit and her Harold have joined us we may continue where we left off yesterday. Harold you said that expanding was out best option why"? Peter, "It's simple the League wants your island for the rich sand and access to the ocean floor.
"From what Ki tells me the creatures that live in the waters around the continent aren't too found of certain things. Which is why I suggested we send an invoice to speak with the nobles that live in the neighboring region. With their help and a few good deals of trade we can create a new home for everyone. But worry not Sisters the Island will remain yours I just wish to ask you allow the men to live in the areas on the mainland. There they can inform runners of any attacks or unforeseen acts the League will try".
The Chieftesses nodded agreeing with the plan. Ki, "I'll leave with the invoice to make sure nothing goes wrong. Spider you have aided in a change that none though possible on behalf of the Brotherhood we thank you". Shaking his hand Peter says, "It's a heroes job I'm sure given the chance any of you would do the same". Smiling the meeting was over but Peter felt something. Looking out the window he heard the whispers of voices coming from the trees. The voices are so odd at pitch that Peter just couldn't tell why he was drawn to listen more.
Ava about to ask him what's wrong until she too heard the whispers slowly going through the air. Both heroes holding odd dumbstruck expressions as the voices pitch changed again. Causing the two heroes eyes to have an odd gray tint to them. Luif seeing the two in there transfixed states worried him until the two leapt out the window. Luif, "Warriors something is wrong our Lady and her Harold are bewitched"! As the warriors gave chase Ava jumped onto Peter's back and using his Symbiote he swings from tree to tree faster then the warriors could keep up with on foot. As the two made it deeper into the Islands forest the trees came to life.
Getting further then any of the warriors had ventured before a barrier of some kind sprung up casing the two in an odd mix of white and red. Warrior, "Inform Chieftess Luif Lady Spirit and her Harold are incased in the magic of the Island". As word traveled that Peter and Ava were incased inside a magical orb many worried how they would manage without the two. Some grew worried that the League will attack again without the two heroes to fight with them. But the leaders of both side agreed that the two heroes wouldn't have shown fear even when staring down death itself.
Ki had several meeting with the nobles of the Fost nations. The women there had male slaves but were far more willing to give them better conditions. They have livable spaces, earned a decent amount of money. And when they earned they were given the chance to help have kids. Sure the men were only allowed to provide the sperm with no physical penetration. But they were fine with that. Ki had managed to keep all of his promises to the head nobles all but one that is. Both the Tiger and Spider have remained kept inside the Islands magical orb from the last five months. Please I'm sure if they were here that they would love the work we've done. Why hold off the unification of our lands"?
Another Noble, "We hold off because the Tiger and the Spiders tale of love has reach all the lands. The League's reaching crystals showed the two passionately showing one another the beauty of love. We wish for them to unify our lands yes but they must be present. Until they are free from the Islands magic we must hold off on full unification. But that does not mean we will end our trading and support. That will continue but please keep us informed as to when the two are freed". Ki simply nodded walking off with his guards.
Outside one-guard worries, "The Leagues seems to have enforced harsher laws preventing any from freeing more of our brothers. Without Spiderman's knowledge of technology we can hardly free them from the torture collars they wear". Ki, "I know my brothers but what can we do? Both Spiderman and White Tiger are sealed inside that magical orb. The magic of the Sisters Island is strong you know its another reason why the League wish to plunder their lands.
"Which is why we will remain strong for however long the Island wishes to hold them. Spiderman and his ways have shown us that love and honor can bet any odds. Our old ways were too lazed and the League used our fears. Now we are stronger because we believe in our brothers and sisters. We have Spiderman and White Tiger to thanks. We will wait for them because we believe in them". Peter and Ava however were angry at first but Peter slowly understood why the woman know as Madam Web pulled them from further interacting with the people of ZLK. Peter watches on to through Webs viewing mirror, "Ok Madam Web we sat, listened, and learned what you wanted us to know. But why hold us here anymore"? Ava, "He's right we've learned the skills and harnessed our inner spirits liked you wanted. When you warped us here. Why hold us past this?"
Madam Web, "I know you two are worried your instincts to protect is one of the reason I wanted you here. But another reason was so that you two could watch and learn. This is what happens when you give people hope and courage beyond being just relaxed into a pattern or cycle. But I think its time you two return to your world. However I can tell you wish to aid in unifying these two lands". Nodding at the elderly woman on the webbed throne the two were finally released from the orb. But told further instructions on the time they had left to be on ZLK.
The guards on hand were shocked but relieved that both heroes are finally free from the Islands magic. However the two knew they had a limited amount of time. Flying both himself and Ava to met Ki before he'd gotten too far from the Fost nation. Spotting Ki Peter landed shocking Ki and starting the creatures they were using to return on. Ki, "Spiderman I'm glad to see you're awake but wh..." Cut him off Peter said, "I sorry Ki we don't have much time the force or person that brought us here intend to send us home. But she's give us time to unite all of you under a new banner".
Ki felt sad, as did his guards knowing that the heroes had just returned with sad news. Informing them of the Chieftesses arrival in sometime Peter and Ava went to meet the nobles. Who were shocked to see the two standing arm in arm and both informing of their departure from ZLK. Noble, "I'm sorry to hear that you two will be leaving us but please stay while we prepare for tomorrows celebration". Peter, "Thank you for giving them a chance". Noble, "No thank you two for inspiring such greatness... ZLK has missed the wonder that love gives all that sees and feel it".
Smiling Ava and Peter went to a private room to relax in while the leader met and talked about the celebration. Landing on the deck Peter and Nova begin to fight their ways inside. After twenty minutes the two heroes meet up with their two friends and push into the bridge. Webbing two Hydra drones Peter slams them into four hydra agents trying to hit Director Fury and anyone still alive on the bridge. As the four heroes force back the Hydra agents. The agents turned to have several arrows hit them encasing them in quick hardening solution.
Soon Hawkeye strolls onto the bridge of the Carrier. Hawkeye "Hey Director when was the last time you talked to Stark about security around this place?" As Fury radios everyone around the Carrier Black Widow comes onto comms. Black Widow "Spiderman get to the third medical bay now Ava's hurt!" In a flash Peter flies through the corridors as fast as he can. Getting into the medical Peter see's his fiancé a good half of her right side is bleeding and covered in bandages. Opening his face piece Peter holds Ava's left hand.
