Happy Mothers Day.

This chapter will have several parts. It will start with each couple's first mother's day. Then move on to when the kids are a bit older. Then one set in the future. Hope you like it.

KENSI AND DEEKS

Kensi woke up to the smell of something yummy. Mmmmm Deeks was making his famous s'mores cakes. Kensi started to get up but was stopped when Deeks walked in the room with a tray of food.

"Don't move."

"Um Deeks what are you doing?"

"It's your first Mother's day I'm spoiling you."

"It's my what?"

"Mother's day Princess."

"Oh that's today?"

Deeks looked at her like she was crazy and put the tray on her lap.

"You eat and Donny and I will be back with your gift."

Kensi was not about to say no to s'mores cakes. She dug in and ten minutes later Deeks came in and took the tray then came back with Donny who needed fed and a bag.

Kensi looked down at her two month old son and smiled. He was so perfect and Kensi knew he would end up looking just like his dad.

"Ok what's in the bag?" asked Kensi.

"First…" Deeks pulled out a box of truffles. "Sweets for my sweet."

"Second…" Deeks pulled out a box and opened it to show Kensi a brand new hand gun. "I believe this is the one you were looking at."

"Deeks that was like six months ago at the gun show."

"Yeah I sent Mac back the next day to buy it. She's been hiding it. I was going to give it to you for your birthday but I couldn't wait."

Kensi shook her head as Deeks put the box aside.

"And third…" He pulled out an envelope. "Two tickets to see the Dodgers play."

"Deeks I can't leave Donny all day yet."

"Don't worry Mac and Callen are going to baby sit."

Kensi started to laugh. "They will need the practice for when their own little ones show up."

"Exactly why I asked them." Deeks said with a smile.

"Deeks why did you get me these gifts?"

"Because they remind me of you."

Kensi looked confused. "Sunshine…" he held up the tickets. "and gunpowder." He smiled at her. "Once you asked me what I thought you smelled like. Well its sunshine and gunpowder."

Kensi was now openly crying. She wanted to blame it on the hormones but knew it was because Deeks was being such a romantic. Kensi pulled him in for a kiss.

"I love you."

"I love you too Princess."

Donny started to fuss and they turned their attention to him.

MACKENNA AND CALLEN

Mac woke up hearing Clara cry. She got out of bed not even bothering to see if Callen was already up. She could hear his snoring. The case had been bad and he had only been in bed a few hours. He needed his sleep.

She walked down the hall and turned left into the nursery. Clara lay there crying her little heart out.

"Oh little bug what's the matter?"

Clara looked at her mother and cried louder.

"Ok either you are hungry or need a diaper change." Mac picked her two week old daughter up. It was still dark out so Mac sat down in the rocking chair and snuggled Clara close.

"Yep hungry." Mac said as Clara latched on and started to suck.

"Do you know what today is little bug?" Mac asked. "Well its Mother's day." Mac rocked slowly as she talked to her daughter. "It's a very special one too. I get to spend it with you and your grandmother for the first time."

Clara grabbed onto her finger and looked up at her as she ate. "I never thought I'd get to spend this day with my mom let alone with my daughter."

Mac looked up and saw Callen watching her.

"Clara hungry huh?"

"Yep."

Callen walked over and put a small blue box in front of her.

"What's this?"

"Your gift." Callen opened the box and inside Mac found a gold chain with three diamonds hanging from it. One large, one med and one small. "One for each of us."

"Oh Callen it's beautiful."

"I wanted to get you something special." Callen pulled out another box. "I got this one to give to your mom."

He opened it and she saw two hearts made out of little diamonds that were hooked together.

"Oh Callen it's beautiful."

"I figured since you didn't have a chance to shop."

Mac kissed her husband. "Thank you so much."

"Anything for my beautiful wife."

They waited till breakfast to give Sara her gift. Mac simply pushed it across the table.

"Now what is this daughter?"

"Your mother's day gift."

Sara picked the box up and started crying. "I wasn't expecting anything. Having you back is gift enough."

"Mom just open the box." Said Mac smiling at her.

"Oh my." Sara gasped when she saw the hearts. She got up and went across the table to hug Mac. "I love you daughter."

"I love you too mom." When Sara let go Mac looked over at Callen who was holding Clara. "You should thank Callen he picked it out."

Callen was next to get a hug. Victor just sat there shaking his head at them.

NELL AND ERIC.

Nell and Eric walked thru the airport pushing the baby stroller. Jake was babbling away and kicking his feet as they made their way to baggage pick up. They found their bags and turned just as they heard a woman call out to Nell. Her mom was almost running across the crowded room to get to her.

"Oh my there is my grandson."

"Nice to see you too mom." Said Nell.

Her mom stood up and gave Nell a hug then gave Eric one. "I'm so glad you could come home for a visit."

"Well things are slow right now so it wasn't too hard."

Nell had begged Hetty to let them go. Her mom kept hinting that she wanted Nell home for a visit. Plus this way they got to spend Mother's day together.

As they drove her mom filled them in on everything the family had been up to. "Also I spoke to Pastor Dave and he is happy to perform a small family wedding for you while your home."

"That's nice mom."

Once they got to the house Nell realized everyone was there. Eric looked like he was going to panic and run. Between hugs and kisses Jake got passed around from person to person. At six months he was still small. Nell really hoped he'd catch up and take after his dad in height.

"Oh he is so cute."

"What a big boy."

"Nell he has your eyes."

Everyone had a comment. Jake enjoyed all the attention but was soon passed out in his grandmothers arms.

"Well I think this little man is all in."

"Here mom let me take him."

"I put a travel crib up in the spare room for you to use while you're here." Said Nell's mom.

Nell and Eric finally had a few moments to themselves. "Wow your family is intense."

"Yes they are." Nell changed Jake then put him in the crib. "But they do it out of love."

"That's a whole lot of love out there." Said Eric trying not to cringe. He was not used to so many touchy feely people in one room at one time.

"Don't worry they got it all out of their systems now."

"I hope so."

Nell chuckled. They unpacked and headed out to find food as Eric said he could smell something good cooking. They ate dinner and relaxed with a movie before bed. The next day was Mother's day.

When they woke up they got dressed and headed to church then off to brunch. Nell had gotten her mom a beautifully framed family photo of her Eric and Jake. Eric got her a sweatshirt made with Jakes photo on it and worlds best Grandma.

Nell's mom told her the wedding was planned for Thursday afternoon. Nell didn't mind and surprisingly neither did Eric. The wedding was a gift from Nell's parents so the entire family would feel part of things.

By that night Nell was worn out. She had forgotten how taxing a visit home could be plus add a six month old little boy into the mix and Nell was out of it by seven pm.

Eric sat holding Jake as he watched Nell sleep. "Guess I'll have to wait to give your mom her gift when she wakes up." Said Eric. Jake yawned and Eric put him to bed.

"Eric is Jake ok?" asked Nell as she woke up.

"Oh yeah he's just as tired as you."

"Hmmmm. I could sleep for a week."

"Well before you fall asleep again here." Eric handed her a little box.

Nell opened it and started to laugh. It was a silver chain with two little charms on it. One was a pair of handcuffs the other a gold plated mini computer chip.

"One to represent you as an agent and the other as the computer geek that you are."

"Oh Eric it's wonderful thank you."

Eric got into bed and pulled Nell close. "I love you Nelly."

"Love you too Eric."

(The wedding will be in my other story More Changes soon.)

Part two

Mac lifted a tray up as Donny and Clara ran too close to her. She laughed and walked over to the table to put it down. Kensi and Deeks were at the grill arguing over the perfect way to make the burgers. This was an unending argument between the two. Finally Sam simply pushed them both out of the way and took over.

Callen was down on the beach with Anna and Chris playing a game of volleyball against Eric, Nell and Jake. Nell may be tiny but she had one hell of a serve.

Hetty and Sara sat together on the swing watching the family and chatting about the children and grandchildren. Victor, and Vlad were enjoying a beer and watching Vlad's wife Nikki feed their one year old son David.

Mac smiled as Lilly went running by her and down the steps to the beach. When she looked up her smile grew. Micha stood in the open door way a woman next to him.

"Mom your mother's day gift is here." Said Mac. Sara looked over confused and Mac pointed to the door.

"Micha." Sara jumped up and ran to her son.

"Hey mom."

"I thought you had a case?"

"Yeah I just said that. I wanted to surprise you."

"Micha aren't you going to introduce your friend?" said Mac already knowing what was going on.

By now everyone was gathered on the deck to watch.

"Mom this is Megan my wife."

"You're what?" Sara was shocked.

"We work together. Megan and I got married last week."

"You never said you were seeing anyone?"

Micha looked at Megan. "Well we haven't been seeing each other too long. It just felt right."

"It's nice to meet you." Megan said. She seemed a bit scared with so many people watching her. Finally Sara hugged the young woman.

"Now you call me mom understand. Come meet the family."

Sara introduced Megan to everyone and made sure she felt at home.

"How's Gibbs doing?" asked Callen to Micha.

"Good. They are still trying to talk him into taking the Directors position but he refuses."

"Yeah they offered it to Granger too he said no way in hell." The two men laughed.

By the end of the day everyone had welcomed Megan into the family. She enjoyed playing with all the kids and surprised Sara by speaking in Roma.

"Micha has been teaching me."

"We want our children to grow up knowing their heritage." Said Micha his arm around his new wife.

Sara was very pleased.

They found out that Megan had no family so she was thrilled to be part of such a big family. Mac sat down next to Hetty on the swing as the sun went down. Hetty had finally retired four years ago and Mac had taken over as operational manager.

"You knew about Megan?" asked Hetty.

"Micha told me. He needed someone to tell that wouldn't judge him."

"She is a sweet girl perfect for him."

They sat quietly for a while watching the others. Callen sat at the table with Deeks. He had ten year old Chris on his lap and the two men were laughing over something that had happened years ago.

"It's nice to see all of our family together today." Said Hetty. She patted Mac's leg. "I'm so very glad I found you and Sara."

"So am I." Mac laid her hand over Hetty's. "If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have Callen or the kids. Who knows where I'd be right now."

Anna walked over to her mom looking a bit nervous.

"What's wrong Anna?"

"I have something to tell you."

"Ok what is it?"

Anna looked down at her feet. "I applied to become an NCIS agent I leave in two weeks for training."

Mac stood up and hugged her daughter. "I'm so proud of you."

"You're not mad?"

"Anna we always knew you'd end up an agent."

"I didn't want to ruin your mother's day."

"You didn't." Mac looked over at Callen. "Your dad knew didn't he?"

"He helped me apply."

Callen shrugged.

"We told you when we brought you home we'd support you no matter what you decided to do with your life."

"I love you mom."

"I love you too."

PART THREE.

Callen, Mac, Deeks and Kensi sat in Deeks living room on Mother's day. It was going to be a quiet day considering all the kids were all busy. Anna was working in Paris as an agent. Lilly was in college on the east coast finishing medical school and Chris was in the middle of his deployment in the Navy. So they were shocked when Clara and Donny who had said they were both busy had asked them all to meet.

"Ok you two what is going on?" asked Deeks his arms crossed.

Donny and Clara looked at each other than back at their parents. Kensi reached over and took Deeks hand. Donny had become an LAPD cop just like his dad and Clara and become a teacher and was currently teaching third grade.

"Well do you remember when we were little you guys used to joke around about us getting married one day?" asked Donny. He ran a hand thru his short blond hair and looked at his dad.

"I'm going to be a grandfather aren't I?" asked Deeks not too pleased with his son.

Clara pulled an ultra sound out from behind her back and handed it to her mother.

"Oh Clara."

"Donny asked me to marry him last month I told him no but then I started getting sick in the mornings." Clara took Donny's hand. "So I finally said yes."

Donny and Clara had started dating in high school and moved in together after college. Donny had been asking her to marry him for years.

They passed the sonogram around and Callen stood up. He pulled Clara into his arms.

"Congratulations little bug." Callen said using Clara's long time nick name. Clara started crying and hugged her dad tightly.

"I'm so scared dad. What if I can't do this?"

"You can do anything you put your mind too." Said Callen pulling back. "Having a baby isn't that hard."

"No getting married." Clara looked at Donny. "What if I screw it all up?"

Donny was standing with his parents looking a bit worried. "We don't have to get married if you don't want to?" he said. "I don't mind just keeping things the way they are."

"Clara I felt the same way." Said Mac. "I can't tell you the amount of times your father asked me to marry him." Mac pulled her daughter into a hug. "You will be fine. The two of you were meant to be together."

Neither Donny or Clara had ever dated anyone else. They had been best friends their entire life and shared everything.

Clara brushed a tear away. "Mom do you still have your wedding dress?"

"Oh baby you don't want to wear that old thing?" Mac was now crying.

"Yes I do." She looked at Kensi and Deeks. Then back at her mom. "We already talked and if it's a girl we're going to name her Sara Henrietta."

"And if it's a boy Victor Owen."

"Oh that's perfect." Said Kensi. They had lost Hetty first to a heart attack. Granger had died in the field protecting Kensi. Sara had passed last year from cancer and Victor a few months later from what they all believed to be a broken heart.

"Our first grandchild." Said Kensi hugging Clara tightly.

"They would have been so proud of you two." Said Callen.

Mac put a hand on Clara's belly. "Happy mother's day baby girl."

"Do you think Uncle Vlad will let us have the wedding at the beach house?" asked Clara.

"I think he will love it. We haven't had a wedding there yet." Said Mac.

"Ok I need to see the ring." Said Kensi.

Clara showed of her ring to their parents.

"That looks familiar." Said Deeks.

"Grandma Hetty gave it to me a long time ago." Said Donny. "Said it was special and needed to stay in the family.

"Oh my gosh Deeks. It's my ring from when I was Melissa." Kensi gasped.

"Leave it to Hetty." Said Deeks laughing.

Donny had grown up hearing about the first undercover op that his parents had to go undercover as a married couple.

"Really this is the ring?"

"Yep. Hetty had to pry it off my finger at the end of the op." Kensi laughed. "My fingers had swelled and we couldn't get it off."

"I should have just dragged you to Vegas and married you right then and there." Said Deeks pulling his wife into his arms.

"And I would have said yes too." Deeks kissed his wife.

"We need to call everyone." Said Mac. Everyone grabbed a phone and started making calls.

None of it came as a surprise to the family. They all wanted to know the date so they could make sure they could make it home. After the calls were made Deeks looked at Callen.

"I told you so."

Callen burst out laughing and handed Deeks a fifty. "Yes you did."

"Dad you were betting on us?" said Clara.

"Well when you were five Deeks bet me that you two would end up having a kid first then getting married. I said no you'd get married first. I lost."

Clara looked at her dad and gave him the look. Callen cringed. Not only had Clara gotten Mac's red hair she also got the look. "Sorry bug."

"Not cool dad."

Callen looked at his wife and shrugged.

Later Callen pulled Mac aside. "Hell of a day huh?"

"Did you expect anything less from our daughter?"

"Yeah no not really. Honestly I expected a grandchild a long time ago."

Mac chuckled. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"For not giving up on me."

"I never will."

Happy Mother's day everyone.
