Well, here I am, in Accumula Town. People have gathered to hear a speech along with a brown haired boy, a black haired boy, and an ecstatic girl. I slowly walked over to them. But then, I noticed something…strange. Their Pokemon were saying.. positive thoughts about their trainers? "Your Pokemon…" I said quickly. "Calm down, you're talking too fast." complained the black haired boy. "Y-yeah, what he said." Said the brown haired. "Anyways," the black haired male continued, "I'm Cheren and this is Black. This girl is Bianca." Bianca waved. "Hiii!" she said quickly. "Black, I'm sorry if you were listening to this speech, but we must have a Pokemon battle." I demanded. I rushed out to Route 2 and asked a Purrloin for its help. Then I came back.
"Let's get this underway! Lillipup, go!" called Black. "Purrloin, come." She scampered over. "Lillipup, use Bite!" The Lillipup ran toward Purrloin and chomped on its tail. "PURR! Ow, that hurt.." I heard her say. "Purrloin, if you are feeling fine, use Tackle." She raced for Lillipup and one-hit KOed it. "Return!" commanded Black. He then sent out a small, plump Tepig. "Ember!" Spitting a small flare from its mouth, Tepig's Ember burnt Purrloin. "Purrloin, Feint Attack." Like Tackle, she jumped toward the Tepig with a shadow punch. With 1 health point left, Tepig didn't wait for a call. He used a Ember and Flame Charge combo, which knocked out Purrloin. Black had won the match. Before I told Purrloin she could go back, I quickly used a Burn Heal and a Max Revive. She woke up, licked my hand, and ran off into the wild. "Black.." I started. "Your Pokemon like you. I've never seen a trainer like you at all." I smiled and asked Black that one question. "So…would you like to be on my team?" He looked at Cheren and Bianca. Then he looked at me. Then he looked at Cheren and Bianca. Then he looked at me. This went on for a few minutes, and his final answer was, "Sure, as long as these two can come." I nodded and I followed them to the next city.
