Author's Note: again I'm so sorry for the delay! School work is so damn making me busy! I thank all of you who are so patient to wait for the next chapter.

Chapter 5: The King and I

ZOLA'S POV

I opened my eyes and for the first time, I saw light! I can't believe it! I'm outside the sealed grounds! All I can recall is I was crying because I don't want Logi to die. Now I'm inside a big room. The door opened and Logi came in! Is this a dream?

"Well it's about time to wake up Sleeping Beauty." He said and gave me a warm friendly smile.

Logi smiled at me then placed a tray full of food at the table. He stepped closer and asked.

"What's the matter Zola? Does too much power make you mute?" what? I can't understand him! What is he talking about! I feel so naïve! I stood up and shouted.

"What are you talking about? What am I doing here and how did I get here?" his eyes almost popped out from their sockets and his face turned red. Now what?

"uhm…. Zo-la…. Yo-u-r-e…" his voice was trembling and he pointed at my body. When I looked down …

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! Why am I naked? What have you done to me?" I jumped back to the bed and covered myself with a blanket. This is the most embarrassing moment of my life! Logi saw me wearing only y undies! Also some weird cables are attached to my body. I turned to him and shouted again.

"Hey you general! Why are you staring at me like that! PERVERT!" his expression change and replied in an irritated voice.

"What did you said? Me, a pervert? How dare you call the king of Rosenkreuz a pervert!" huh? King? Who? Him? Great! Another pending question came.

" King? You general a king? " I hissed. He looked at me again then laughed.

"You don't know? Now that is pure impertinence! Everybody knows that informarion! Even merchants and peasants know that!"

"Really? I'm so sorry 'your highness'. But we don't have newspapers at the sealed grounds! Next time try to send me a telegram in order to know the latest happenings. " I said sarcastically.

Wait! The sealed grounds! Who freed me? How did I got out from that prison!

"Is that your way of-"

"who freed me from the sealed grounds? How did I get out?" but instead of giving me a reply he just stared at me with a puzzled face. Silence filled the place.

"what do you mean?" He finally spoke.

"what kind of answer is that? Answering my question with another question? I am asking you who freed me? The last thing I remembered I was stuck in darkness then I found myself in this room with you and you keep on telling me things I do not understand!" I'm really losing my patience!

" You can't understand me because you cannot recall what happened?" he asked and I simply nodded. I'm tired of talking! He placed his fingers on his lips then whispered something. He turned back then marched towards the door.

"I'll be back!" he slammed the door! This guy is so annoying! I threw a pillow at the door and shouted.

"Damn you Logi!" I so hate this guy!

Then I noticed the food that he brought a while ago. Its aroma made my mouth water. I literally 'devoured' the meal.

Few minute later someone knocked. Two maids came in and bowed. The first one took the pillow and placed it back in my bed and the other carried the tray. Before leaving they asked.

"is there anything else that you need My Lady?" My lady? Too formal.

Wait I need clothes!

"Can you please fetch me something to wear? " I requested.

"We are very sorry My Lady but the king himself ordered us that we should not give you any clothing because he will be the one who will provide it to you." They answered.

"What? I have to wait for him? Where is that general!" the maids where shocked with what I said!

I forgot that Logi is the king of this palace!

"I mean where is the king?" I rephrased my statement.

"His location is none of your business." An orange-haired woman came in. the maids stepped back and bowed.

"Miss Matilde" they greeted. She turned to me and raised an eyebrow.

"Even though you are considered a guest here, you don't have any right to question the orders of His Royal Highness King Logi! For your information I am Miss Matilde, the secretary of the king himself. His right hand, His trusted servant and His future-"

"Did I asked?" I said sarcastically.

"So what if you have a high position in this kingdom? How rude of you to enter my room without knocking and entering this conversation even though we are not talking to you! " I added. Her face was turning red and the maids were frightened.

"Remember this day Zola! I will-" she threatened me.

"I don't care if you're threatening me and get a calendar if want to know the date!" I replied. I turned to the maids and ordered,

"Open the door!" the maids quickly obeyed. Matilde looked at me and I smirked.

"The door is wide open for you secretary of the King, His right hand, His loyal servant and His future whatever so get out!" I shouted.

She stormed out and the maids bowed before leaving.

She can't stand a chance against me!

I wonder where Logi is?
