First of all I would like to apologize for the long absence. I know some of you are upset but I never intended to annoy you guys. I just have to focus on other things and aside from that my beloved phone, the one I used to type my drafts for this story is broken. Huhu
If I could only get my drafts there. And I also focused on my review classes for my professional license that is why I never had the chance to update. Again my sincerest apologies to all my readers. And I would to thank a guest to encouraged me to share my side and for being very patient. You are indeed confidently beautiful with a heart.

Chapter 13
Investigation
Shu's POV
Things are getting a bit busier when Zola woke up. Leo never let a day pass without visiting her and while King Logi is still in Correed looking for their uncle Doctor Darwin. But before he left he gave us some sort of communication device. He said he wants to make sure that we won't be stealing anything from his precious palace. Well I doubt that because every time he calls all he is asking is Zola's condition, did she took her medicine, is she tiring herself too much and many more. It's like he is her boyfriend or her husband. But of course that would be impossible since Leo is courting Zola.
Now we're packing our thing and preparing ourselves for another exciting journey.
Our mission? To find Kluke and help in the investigation at Correed. Zola said that someone must have burned the library on purpose and if her suspensions are correct that person wants to conceal something about the past. Since we are the Seven Soldiers of Light (according to Zola with or without our shadows we are still the descendants of the Soldiers of Light.) it is our responsibility to protect the ancient writings found inside the library. Bouquet is folding our clothes while me and Maru Maro are busy filling our tummies. No one would want to go on a journey with an empty stomach right? We're like that when until Zola arrived with a medium sized back pack on her back.
"Are you guys ready?" She asked. I raised my hand and stood up.
"I am born ready!" I shouted. She just laughed and sat beside us.
"Do you know how much I missed you guys? It may have been a few years but for me it felt like an eternity. I am so happy to be with you once more and I am thankful because you accepted with me even after what we've been through." She smiled at us but tears are flowing from her eyes. We moved closer and hugged her.
"You are our friend. No matter what will happen we will be here for you. We will find Kluke and Jiro then we will be like the good old times." I assured her.
"You're having a group hug but I am that included? That is so unfair!" Someone shouted. Guess who said that? No other than the mighty Prince Leo. He stepped closer and spread his arms. But before he could come near us Zola's communicator rang. Maybe Logi wants to give his final instructions before we leave. Zola excused herself and went to the veranda.
"Brother always spoil the moment. " Leo stormed out. What's gotten into him? Is he helous if his own brother? As if Zola likes Logi, doesn't she?
Zola's POV
"What is it now Your Royal Freakness?" I asked Logi right after answering the communicator.
"Is that the proper way to address your 'future husband'? I'm hurt, didn't you missed me?" He answered in an annoying voice. I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath to calm myself. He is getting into my nerves.
"Missed you? Your last call was 15 minutes ago and this is your tenth call this morning!" I reminded him. Yup you read it right. This is his tenth call this morning. He started calling me from the moment I woke up, actually he woke me up. He's been like this from the moment he left for Correed. Sometimes when I get so pissed of due to his frequent calling I turned off the communicator. But that didn't work out because he started calling Shu and the other, asking (intimidating them rather) them what happened to me, why am I not answering the communicator and other stupid questions. He said that this was a part of his courting. I find it a bit sweet but annoying at the same time.
"I just to make sure that you are safe. I don't want to loose another person close to my heart. You know how much I love you right?" And there he goes with his diabetes-causing sweetness. I can't help but smile. Logi is not the type of person who say a lot of flattering thing that is why when he speak such word it goes deep inside my heart.
"Speachless my dear? Want to hear more?" He asked.
"Nah. I'm just thinking if you're really making sure that I am safe or you're making sure that Leo is not with me?" I teased. His silence made me smile. He's really the jealous type, too jealous that he consider his own brother as his rival. Sometimes he gets a little paranoid. Thinking that Leo is always with me while he is not. Honestly I don't want to pay attention to this matter. All I want right now is to be with my friends and pay for my mistakes. I don't have the right to be happy, not now not ever.
"Well I guess it's time to say goodbye, we're about to leave and I know you don't want us to arrive at Cirro late. I'll call you the moment we get there. Bye." I did not wait for his reply. I hung up and turned the device off. I don't need this kind of distraction now. I have to focus on the mission and do what is right.
I went back to the room where Shu and the others are waiting for me.
"Time to go." And we headed to the routing port.
Logi's POV
Damn! That woman really knows how to piss me off. I'm not jealous! Why would I be jealous? I'm just irritated that's all. I tried to call her again but she turned the communicator off. She'll call later, i'm sure of it. Who can resist me? Guess I have to back to work. I went back to the library where my investigation team are. We've been investigating for almost a month. But the culprit is really good. Uncle is still nowhere to be seen. According to the library administrators they saw uncle researching in the ancient books section few days before the fire broke out. They also informed us that there was this mysterious man who was reading in the same section. That man was always alone with a file of books with him. No one can describe his appearance because he always wear a black cape covering his face. But in the past few months the staffnever saw him. They just assumed that his work was done that is why he never returned.
I have a feeling that this man is connected to uncle's case because uncle left to find out more about the powers of darkness while this man is spotted with file of books about darkness. Seems like I have to stay here a little longer.
While checking out the remains of the library a soldier ran towards me.
"Your Majesty! Update from the southern boundery: there is rebel attack in a local village a Cirro." He reported. My eyes widened, Cirro? That is where Kluke is said to be residing. That is the place where Zola is going.
"Which village?" I asked. Please not the village near the mountain.
"The one near the foot of a mountain sir." He answered. I turned around and dialled for Zola that instant. From the palace to Cirro it will take around three to four hours to get there when they are using a mechat. It's been four hours since I called Zola. I tried to call her but her communicator is still turned off. I contacted her friends but I can't reach them too.
"Damn it!" I can't let Zola be harmed again. She just recovered from coma. Even though her power is strong her body can't take the damage from using it.
"Hello Your Majesty! How may-" I called Matilda.
"Send my fastest ship together with my troops now!" I ordered. Please Zola be safe.
