Chapter 18: Maddies Daring Rescue

Gumball and Maddie were now back inside after an almost an Emotional breakdown from the purple hedgehog, but ended up her ascending into a more powerful state than before. For she, Like Aaron can go now go super.

The two were now back on the couch and Gumball felt like just talking to her would make her feel better after the events of today.

"So are you going to be okay?" Gumball asked

"Yeah i'll be fine" Maddie Replied.

"Good" Gumball signed. "Now is there anything else you need to get off your chest"

"Not really, I mean I just got emotional because Aaron's really all I have left in this world after we got here. However that was" Maddie said. "But I'm glad you're here Gumball, I know I sometimes act like I over react and get emotional but it's only because I care. Sorry you have to put up with it"

"Oh its no problem at all really, it's the least I can do" said Gumball. It's been a little over 2 years since I first met Goku and Vegeta, and let me tell you I wasn't half the person Aaron was before or at least how I am now"

"Yeah, but I just wish we could get him back" said Maddie.

"Me too, Unfortunately if we all tried to retrieve him it would be to risky" said Gumball. "Maybe if someone went alone"

Maddie then lifted her head and her eyes widened for a sec before forming a smirk on her face.

"You know Gumball, I really appreciate all that you've done for me this evening, You're a really great friend"

Maddie then Kissed Gumball on the forehead, and sat up. "Now if you'll excuse me I have to go use the little girls room.

Maddie then walked up the stairs and disappeared from view.

Gumball then Shrugged, got up, and walked into the kitchen to see Penny waiting by the fridge.

"Did everything go alright?" Penny asked walking over.

"Yeah she calmed down, we manage to talk a little, I think she's starting to feel a lot better now" said Gumball.

Penny smiled then kissed Gumball with Gumball kissing her back. "Now that's the Gummybear I know and love"

Gumball smiled and slightly blushed.

"Hey Gumball" Penny said Nervously. "I've been thinking lately, and I think that we should take things to the next level" said Penny.

Gumball frowned. "Look Penny I know for a fact that I've heard you say that you were saving yourself for marriage and I am too. Plus everyone is in the house and downstairs, and Maddie is up stairs. But if you insist, I guess we c-"

"Gumball" said Penny.

"Yes?"

"I'm not talking about having sex"

Gumballs whole face turned bright red from the embarrassment "Oh"

"What im trying to say is not about sex at all, We have been dating for over a year now. A year and I half I believe, and I think we should start having a serious relationship. When we first started dating it was just a normal relationship and honestly dating was still new to the both of us. We are older now, not much but still older and I think we should take a step forward"

Gumball pondered for a sec. "So you want our relationship to be serious? I thought it already as."

"Well I mean a serious relationship would mean that, We truly love each other no matter what happens Since we basically know everything about each other" said Penny.

"Soooo this conversation has nothing to do with sex?" said Gumball.

Penny face palmed. "No gumball just because I want us to have a real serious relationship doesn't mean I think we should have sex" said Penny. "I'm not even ready for that kind of commitment"

"Oh Okay just making sure I got that clearly" said Gumball

"Well at least not yet" Whispered Penny.

"Wait what did you say?" said Gumball.

"Nothing! Erm...Goku how nice of join us" said Penny noticing Goku walk over.

"Just came by to see how Maddie's doing" said Goku.

"Well She's calmed down, and she's feeling better. So I'd say she's doing better"said Gumball.

"Well that's great! I knows she's been down since we got back, but i'm glad to see she's doing better" said Goku.

"Yeah you're telling me. I'm glad she didn't go blaming me for everything" said Gumball.

Penny put her arms around Gumball. "Maddies not that kind of person, she wouldn't do that to you"

"I know" Gumball said. "However she was acting strange around the end of the conversation"

Goku and Penny looked up.

"What do you mean" said Goku.

"Well I mentioned something about getting Aaron back, then she said I was a great friend and went upstairs" said Gumball. "To do what? I'm not sure"

Penny and Goku paused. "She isn't planning on getting him back alone is she?" Penny asked.

"Penny has a point, doing something like that on her own would be too dangerous" Goku said.

"Not to mention that some of those nasty individuals could even seriously hurt you Gunball none the less Maddie" said Penny.

"Uuuhh guys..."

The 3 turned to see Maddie wearing something completely different than her usual skirt. She was wearing a black tank top with Black leather spandex pants and black boots.

"You guys do know I can hear you right" said Maddie.

The 3 just started at Maddie without saying a word, why is she even wearing that kind of clothing.

"Maddie, where did you get that?" asked Penny.

Maddie immediately responded with a positive look. "Oh! Well I was out shopping the other day and I know you guys have all your other cool outfits and all for fighting, like Goku's Gi. Sooo I shopped around and picked up this" said Maddie. "Doesn't it look cute on me?"

Gumball just stared at her still looking at her in shock, man Maddie sure did look great. Especially around h-

POW!

Penny had punched gumball in the shoulder to snap him out of it.

"OW! What was that for?" said Gumball.

Penny just glared at him.

"I mean yeah you look great, is it comfortable for fighting?" asked Goku.

"Oh yeah, it's comfortable. And these pants feel great" Said Maddie.

"They also look great on you" said Gumball.

"Watch it" whispered Penny in a hissing tone.

Gumball gulped. as much as he wanted to say something about how good Maddie looked in those pants, he decided to keephis mouth shut for his own sake. "hehe continue Maddie"

Maddie signed. "Look guys I heard everything and I know you are all worried, but this is something I need to do"

"How much did you hear?" Penny asked.

"Around the part where you said that you hope I'm not going by myself, I heard from the stairs" Maddie Started. "I'm sorry but there's no convincing me other wise. I'm going to go get Aaron, End of discussion"

"You could get yourself killed!"

Gumball and Penny looked behind them to see Vegeta walking up with Malcolm,Darwin and Nicole following behind.

"Do you realize that what you're saying is completely stupid and if you take action you'll get yourself killed, I don't think you know how great of a danger you'll be in if you go alone and without a plan" said Vegeta.

Maddie glared at Vegeta. "Excuse me but I'm not stupid, and I know what kind of risk I'm taking if I do this! And I do have a plan, I can do this trust me."

"You think just because you ascended into a new level of power that you just learned to achieve, That you can take on the whole world! HA! I hate to break it to you kid but that's not how it works at all" said Vegeta.

Goku gave Vegeta an uneasy look. "Easy Vegeta. This won't help by arguing."

"OH yeah, Well just because I just achieved this new transformation doesn't mean I'm in over my head. I know fully what I'm getting into, If Aaron can make sacrifices so can I"

Malcolm at this point tried to calm things down. "Whoa guys lets not start something we'll regret".

Vegeta clenched fist. "What Aaron did saved us all and everyone in that damn school! Your not being a hero, what you're doing is Suicide!"

"ENOUGH!" Nicole shouted at the top of her lungs. "Leave the poor girl alone Vegeta! She's already gone through today and what you're doing isn't making it any better.

That comment Vegeta made took Maddie by surprise and she was speechless nor could she move. Maddie couldn't do anything but just stand there.

Everyone in the room was dead silent looking at Maddie and everyone looking around.

"So..."

Everyone looked at Maddie. "none of you support me"

you could see a tear roll down her face. It was at this point Nicole walked up to her and knelt down to comfort the young girl.

"Hey sweetie, don't let Vegeta get to you" Nicole said.

"All I wanted to do was help Aaron...and save him, is that too much to ask?" Maddie then started look up at Nicole. "I get that I'm not the strongest fighter here, but if I'm just sitting by on the sidelines doing nothing...What does that make me?"

"I know you want to help out sweetheart but we all just concerned about your safety" Said Nicole.

Maddie looked down. "Aaron's has given us and especially me of all people so much, and I just wanted to help and give back….maybe I am being just some foolish girl by trying to do this"

Nicole chuckled "you know what I think Maddie?"

Maddie looked back up.

"I think you have more guts than a lot of us thought you had as well as more than a lot of us in this room. I respect you for that Maddie. So I say, go bring my son back to me"

Maddie went from a frown to a wide smile. "You really mean it ?"

"I sure do sweetheart, from the bottom of my heart I believe in you" Nicole said. "Gumball?"

Gumball looked directly at his mother. "Yes mom?"

"I believe you have something for Maddie if I remember correctly" said Nicole.

Maddie looked over at Gumball. "You do?"

Gumball looked confused. "I do? Gumball started. "OH yeah I do!"

Gumball then rushed over to Maddie and pulled out the banda Aaron gave him on the lookout. "Here Maddie, Aaron wanted me to give you this before he turned himself in. It's his father's lucky banda that Aaron always wears, and before he left he asked me to give it to you"

Maddie just looked at it for a seconded then grabbed it and looked back at Gumball. "He really said that?"

Gumball Nodded. "He sure did! And sorry about giving it to you this late, I almost forgot I had it. I kinda feel bad now that I almost did"

Maddie then nodded and wrapped the banda around her head. "It's perfect! I'll wear this for Aaron for all he has done for me and to repay him for what he did to save us!"

Gumball then found himself embraced by Maddie with a hug. "Thank you so much Gumball for caring that out for Aaron, no words can describe how much it means to me for you to do that" Maddie started. "And thank you too for the support"

Nicole chuckled. "Believe me dear it was the least I can do"

"You're making a big mistake" Vegeta stated. "I hope you know that"

Maddie grinned at Vegeta. "I'll just have to prove you wrong then, won't I?"

Vegeta just huffed and walked away.

"Be safe Maddie, we are all counting on you." said Goku. "I believe you can do this, we all do"

Maddie turned to Goku. "Thank you Goku"

"Remember to keep your power level low, if you're planning on doing this with stealth you have to hid your energy or else they will notice you before you even get there" said Goku.

"Don't worry I will I promise" said Maddie.

Maddie then rushed to the door and opened it up.

"I hope she stays safe" said Darwin as he walks up to Gumball.

"Me too buddy" said Gumball.

Maddie then grinned. "Alright Aaron here I come!"

Maddie proceeded to step forward but almost tripped, losing her balance causing her catch herself and look back at everyone sheepishly.

"Starting now" said Darwin.

Maddie then shook off whatever embarrassment she might have just caused herself but she didn't care. She had a mission to fulfill. "I'm on my way Aaron! I'll show those punks what happens when you mess with someones life long friend and boyfriend can do!" Maddie then soared off into the night sky following the energy signal of the enemy.

Aaron slowly opened his eyes but everything was to blurry to make out for himself. He closed them again and opened his eyes back up, everything was starting to become clear. IT was dark out, he could tell that much but as far as he knew he was clueless where he was.

Aaron then found himself laid up against a tree. And not 5 feet away from him was Garlic Jr. Tobias and Cell were standing in front of him smiling.

"Wel,l someone's finally waking up" said Cell.

Aaron tried to move but when he did he felt a sharp amount of pain. His body hurt all over, he could see everything from bruises, scratches and even dried up blood everywhere he looked. Man he was in bad shape.

"Enjoy the nap punk?" said Tobias.

Aaron looked directly at Tobias. "Hehe not too bad, it could have been worse"

Tobias raised an eyebrow. "And just how could it be worse"

Aaron chuckled. "Well I could be you for one"

"Watch it" said Tobias snarling at him.

"No seriously Tobias why are you getting yourself involved with these guys and doing the things you're doing" Aaron started. "From what I heard you were a pretty chill guy before all this"

Tobias just laughed. "Pfft spare me. You just saying that because you're trying to get yourself out of this situation"

"I mean I would if I could move my body without it hurting like hell" said Aaron.

Garlic jr then spoke up. "Well you certainly won't be going anywhere anytime soon. You're lucky your still alive after that little blue furball brought down the lookout"

"I didn't even think Kami's lookout could be brought down" said Aaron. "He got you guys good"

"Well thanks to him, now we are out in Timbuktu with no home base and without the Dragonballs" said Garlic.

"Sucks to be you" said Aaron.

Tobias then Walked up to Aaron and delivered a direct kick to the face.

Aaron spat out blood from the blow and the pain was almost unbearable compared to the rest of his body.

"Anymore talk like that and you'll be dead within the snap of a finger" said Cell.

"We don't need the Earth's Dragonball's anyways" said Garlic Jr.

Aaron looked puzzled, "What do you mean? You can't just wish for something and it will happen without the Dragonballs, unless you plan on getting something without a magical dragon"

"But of course. Who says we can't just take a little trip to the planet Namek" said Garlic Jr.

Aaron's eyes went wide. "No….they can't be talking about the planet namek Dragonballs, how do they know about them? How did they find out?"

"Pfft what are you even talking about, planet Namek blew up because of Frieza long ago" said Aaron.

"True, but a little birdy told me that there is a new Namek with new Dragonballs" said Garlic Jr.

"He can't really be serious can he? where'd he get all of this info" Aaron thought

"How did you even know thatt?!" Aaron exclaimed.

"We been watching you guys for quite a while now, how do you think Tobias decided act out and attack Gumball like he did earlier?" Said Cell.

Aaron was now more in a shock then before. "They….they must have been watching us the whole time from the lookout, it's as if they're saying they saw our fights as clear as I did"

"Unfortunately we can't anymore because of Gumballs actions, but it doesn't matter now. Because we already have all the information we need" said Cell.

"What exactly do you plan on doing? You already have all you need, what more could you wish for?" Said Aaron.

Tobias grinned. "It's more what "I" can wish for, thanks to you I couldn't make my wish because of your little interruption"

Aaron continued to listen.

"I want to be stronger then Gumball and you for that matter? I want to kill him and be the strongest warrior on this planet, no the universe!" Exclaimed Tobias.

"Strength isn't something you can just wish for, you have to work for it like everyone else to achieve what you want!" Said Aaron.

"If immortality can be achieved by one simple wish, then strength shouldn't be a problem" said Tobias chuckling.

Aaron couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Have you gone mad?! You can't do this, we won't let you"

"Oh but I will" said Tobias. "I definitely will"

Tobias then delivered a strong punch to Aaron knocking him out.

Maddie was getting close to her destination, and the closer she got the more she lowered her power and she was getting a little nervous too.

"Alright Maddie, you can do this. All you have to do is create a distraction far from where Aaron is located, distracting the other bad guys to go inspect and take any out that get in the way….silently" Maddie said to herself.

The time finally came, she was getting close enough that she shouldn't fly any longer and descended to the ground.

Maddie continued to lower her power level lower and lower. She knew a lot of them couldn't sense energy, but ones that could she had to watch out for….like Cell.

Maddie finally found what had looked like a light within close distance. She then quickly hid behind a bush in case anyone had been in the surrounding area and saw her.

She then looked up to see a huge crowd of villains by a campfire, not the biggest one that she's seen but also not the smallest. And she could name a dozen of those guys right off the back.

"Okay, now what can I use to make a distraction?" Said Maddie.

She pondered for a minute before realizing that an explosion Should be more than enough to do the trick.

"Okay now all I have to do is form a ki sphere, leave it here. And get away to a far and safe distance" said Maddie.

Maddie then put her hands together and formed a ki sphere about the size of 2 basket balls and slowly levitated it in front of her slowly. Once it was about 10 feet away from her. She slowly started to walk back still holding it and then she ran letting the ki ball fall to the ground.

Frieza who was by the fire, saw a small glowing coming from the trees in the trees distanced from him. "What on earth is that?"

Before he can say any more a giant explosion occurred and Managed to form way above the trees.

Maddie by now had stopped running and slid to the ground behind another bush hiding her and her power level the best she could.

Everyone turned to where the explosion came from and gasped. "Everyone go after the explosion, someone's here" said a voice.

Maddie heard the voices in the distance as well as them leaving the area. She then looked up before making her move to see if the coast was clear and scurried to the camp fire.

Once she finally got to the well litted area. She looked all over but couldn't find Aaron.

"Oh man where can he be?" She said. "Oh I know, I'm really close by now maybe I can sense where he is, Maddie then closed her eyes and concentrated on finding Aaron.

It took a second but she finally was able to lock on to his energy. "There he is!" She exclaimed.

She then ran in the direction that she could sense his energy with excitement and joy overwhelming her. But man he was a little ways back, the camp fires light was dimming down and getting darker

It didn't take long, but Maddie had finally reached her goal. She had found Aaron lying up against a tree unconscious.

From what she could tell he was beaten up, bruised, scratched and looked horrible overall but she didn't care, she rushed over to Aaron and gently started to shake him.

"Aaron! Aaron it's me Maddie wake up!" Said Maddie.

Aaron groaned but then opened his eyes to she Maddies face wearing what it looked like his Banda.

"Maddie?" He asked a little confused.

Maddie then jumped up with joy. "Aaron!"

Maddie then embraced him in a deep kiss and then released.

"I'm so glad I found you, I thought you would be gone after what happened"

"Maddie, as much as I enjoyed the kiss and despite the pain because my whole body hurts. what are you doing here?" Said Aaron.

"I came here to save you silly" said Maddie. "But I just had to get you out of here. Now there isn't much time, I put up a distraction, but I'm sure it won't last much longer"

Maddie then got up and started to looked around the area see if anyone had noticed her or them.

Aaron now got a whole look at Maddie and what she was wearing, she'd never worn these kinds of cloths before. Or at least in this style. But man did she look good in them...Really good"

Maddie looked back at Aaron and noticed he had caught on to him at staring at her from behind which made her chuckle and grin. "Hehe you're staring at my butt aren't you"

Aaron's face started to turn red. "W-w-what, of course I-I'm not"

Maddie signed. "Aaron I could tell that were, but don't worry about it I don't mind"

Aaron paused for a second. "Wait what?"

Maddie then chuckled. "I said I don't mind if you do. I mean come on Aaron this isn't the first time I've caught you, I used to see you do it even before we met Gumball and all of them"

Aaron whole face turned red. "Oh you did hehe"

Maddie walked up to Aaron's and knelt down. "But it's okay though, I didn't mind. Because I knew you weren't the kind of guy that didn't respect girls and as you do know I did have a crush on you and I liked to tease you a little"

Aaron chuckled. "Oh yeah haha, well I didn't do it often I promise you that or on purpose sometimes"

Maddie then got closer to him. "I didn't mind because you were the only guy that showed more respect and love for me then anyone else I have ever met"

Aaron smiled and so did Maddie. They both leaned in for a kiss and continued to in embrace each other in the moment.

"Hold it right there!" Said a deep voice.

Both Aaron and Maddie stopped dead in their tracks and turned around to see Cell behind them blocking their paths

"So your little girlfriend has decided to come save you I see" said Cell. "It was a nice effort but I'll promise you this. You want leave here alive"
