Announcement

It's been several years since I first drafted this story on a notebook, it has travelled through several pc's and has had multiple re-writes. I never believed that I could actually make something that people liked. Thankfully I did so, but it's been a while since this story was written.

It's time to resurrect it.

Before I do that however I have to make something deadly clear as when Jason comes back to see Lara there has been multiple changes to his character as a whole. After the massacre at the village, Jason has become a far darker character as he's had to deal with multiple things. This includes experiencing genocide as you saw in the last chapter, being betrayed by people he trusted multiple times and not to mention meeting his father again. Strange things will continue to happen to Jason.

I'm not sure how I'm going to continue this story, but I'm going to introduce Jason's brother into the mix here.

Jason found Luke in an underground lab that his father -Angel- was using to experiment on Luke -Jason's younger brother- which means Jason has a big responsibility. Luke may be the main character in the next stretch of the story, Jason has his own adventures which can be seen on my profile, of course there are one or two stories that aren't finished and don't fit into this time line. These are the one Skyrim story and the two Fallout stories that I have on my profile. The other stories should explain what is happening with Jason.

If you don't want to check them out, it shouldn't matter, Jason hates talking about his past experiences in these stories so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

The rest of this chapter is going to be a description of Luke. I'm attempting to write better descriptions so this should be a teaser if you like of Luke's character.

Physical

Like J, Luke's eyes were bright, light seemed to irradiate out of them. The glow of the green eyed monster was stood before me, looking me in the eyes, hiding behind his older brother.

Short wasn't the word for Luke, he was almost half the size of Jason who'd grown to be 5'6 which still wasn't that tall. I could have thrown him like a javelin if I wanted to.

As I walked into the gym, I found Luke in the pool, managing to do something that I hadn't seen Jason do.
Swim.
This member of the White family could actually swim, he was good at it too. What was better was knowing that he was enjoying doing it, he loved the water which was baffling to me. Most boys his age couldn't stand the sight of it. It was then that I noticed why Luke looked so skinny, he swam more than he did anything else.

Attributes

Luke stood in the rain for what was actually a few seconds, but seemed like hours. Suddenly he stood on one leg, shifting all of his weight onto it, knowing full well where to stand. As he put his other leg down, he slowly moved his hands in a gliding fashion. All of the collected rain began to run faster in a stream until it curved up into the air, Luke was controlling the water around us. Eventually the stream began to contort further around Luke's body, protecting him from anything as the stream moved fast, meaning that anything that entered it was pushed away.

Luke jumped off the platform and landed squarely in my arms, I imagined that it would hurt somewhat, but Luke barely weighed a thing. As I came to terms with this, Luke had wrapped his arms around me. Like a koala, he wouldn't let go of me. I had to do almost everything with him attached to me like that until he finally let go.

Luke stammered over his words, like Jason did the first time he spoke. However Luke was a little more coherent, it was strange seeing how different the two boys could be.

Luke looked over the gear and guns that were scattered across the table.
Again the two boys couldn't be more different.
Luke didn't even glance at the sniper rifle, he was glued to the automatic rifles, the things that Jason didn't even look at. Luke picked up almost everything before he settled on an AK74U rifle that seemed the right size for him. The look of glee on his face as he felt the wooden grips was priceless.

As we played, Luke stayed close to us all. His eyes scanning the field, waiting for whatever came our way. He was waiting for a fight.

As the horn blared, Luke bolted ahead of me in a sprint that I'd only seen from Olympic runners. For someone so small he was so fast that I could barely keep up with him. That was before we got to the obstacles, Luke glided over them as if they weren't even there, the way that he traversed the environment was so fluid and smooth that it guaranteed that Jason had taught him more than a few things.

End

For something that's been dead for years, this is a long chapter explaining why it's been dead and attempting to revive the thing. I hope that it's worth my time, however before I do that I'm going to be doing grammar and spelling checks on every chapter from this series before I even start writing new chapters, so enjoy the new... Whatever you'd call this and please give me some feedback so I know what you'd want and how to improve, it's the only way that things get better.
