Chapter 10;
Kagome was sitting on her bed red faced glaring holes at the man who could stir up strange feelings she'd locked away years ago. Inuyasha grumbled from his spot on the floor trying to get his self back up right but the pain in a certain area keep him down in a sitting position.
"What the fuck is wrong with you wench!" he screamed at her cupping his now very sore crotch.
" What's wrong with me? I think I should be the one to ask you that! Why the hell where you in my bed dog-boy" she creamed about to throw another book at him. Before she could the elevator doors opened to show a half sleep Miroku and a pissed Sango.
"What the fuck are you two doing up here, it's 7:00 am damn it!" Sango hissed walking around to the side where Inuyasha was sitting and glared at him.
"What the hell did you do now, I knew I shouldn't have left you up here with her." she said glaring down at the man before her, Inuyasha just rolled his eyes finally able to get up from his sitting position on the floor.
"I didn't do anything this crazy wench kicked me off her bed after she flashed me her boobs." he stated bluntly while standing finally feeling the pain go away.
"I flashed you, are you serious your the one who was basically trying to get intimate with me last night but then you go all crazy possessive and shit. Next thing I know I'm waking up in bed naked and with you!" Kagome screamed standing up wrapping her sheet tightly to her body. Miroku took this moment to intervene since he knew what his friend was like when questioned.
"Now ladies let us calm down so we can talk this out like adults." he stated desperately trying to defuse the ticking bomb that seemed to get closer to exploding. He could tell that was not helping, slowly he backed up to the elevator. If this were about to explode he did not want to be around to watch things end for his friend.
"And where do you think your going lech!" Sango stated angrily glaring him down before his hand could even float to the button.
"Oh no where my sweet, I just thought since you two would be talking with dear Inuyasha that I'd wait down stairs for you." he laughed nervously scratching the back of is head. Her glare seemed to deepen with every word he spoke.
"Oh no you do not! You were the bastard that told me to trust this perverted dog around Kagome!" she screamed grabbing his non injured shoulder and gripped it tight. Miroku was now shaking and Inuyasha's glared moved to Sango at her last few words. Finally having enough Inuyasha stood towering over the two women.
"Enough of this, no one's going any where, the wench just over reacted like she seems to always do and-"
"SIT!"
With that word Inuyasha was forced to kiss her bedroom floor. He groaned and turned his head to look at her.
"What the hell bitch! Why do you keep doing that!" he screamed getting back to face her only to fly back into the ground.
"SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT!" Kagome screamed over and over until she was panting and feeling a slight form a pleasure from seeing his pain. To bad for her that small break was what he need to get to her and before she could scream 'sit' once more he covered her mouth with his hand. She could see his beautiful glare clearly now that his nose was touching hers.
"You are going to pay for that wench." growled out in a deadly tone, but Kagome didn't fear him like she had last night. He wasn't happy about it but did not have time to think since Miroku's body went flying into his and both of them into Kagome's wall. Smirking Kagome went into her bathroom leaving Sango to deal with the men that were struggling to get untangled from each other. After a quick shower she returned to find the boys left.
"I guess the pervert and dog boy are gone." she stated walking to her closet for some clothes.
"Yeah but unfortunately they said they'd be back. Something about him wanting to check on his wench and or mate." Sango stated giving her a strange look, Kagome knew she would have to explain this sometime soon or her bestfriend would lose it.
"Look San nothing happened ok, I pissed him off he wanted to punish me and-" she was cut off.
"What the fuck you me punish you!" Sango screamed standing.
"Calm down San he just spanked me and-"
"Really Kagome he spanked you? You're not a child." she stated rolling her eyes.
"Well it wasn't all bad." Kagome whispered just loud enough for her friend to hear. Sango paused and looked toward her bestfriend.
"Kagome are you telling me, that you enjoyed it?" she questioned watching her very closely. Kagome turned her face away from her friend trying to hide the small blush that crept up to her cheeks. Shocked Sango walked to her side and turned her forward.
"Are you blushing?" she asked looking her dead in her face as Kagome looked every where but her friend.
"Oh my Kami Kagome you haven't blushed in years. I don't think I've ever seen you express any kind of emotion all the time I've known you." Sango spoke with a small smile on her face.
"Maybe this guy is good for you in some way." she spoke more to herself then Kagome.
"Whoa girl slow it down, so I blushed it's not like I like the guy or anything." she stated walking by her to finish dressing. Sango rolled her eyes but smiled anyway.
"I'm sure that's not the case, but I do have to get home Kohaku will coming home for a few days. And you know how he is so we'll probably stop by tomorrow. Kohaku will freak if he doesn't get to see his other sister." she stated smiling more at her friend. Rolling her eyes Kagome smiled back and gave her a hug before she left.
Things got back into tune once she was by herself again. Working was the only thing that kept her think clearly and right now she needed to think as clearly as possible. At the moments she was working on a n important serum that could possibly heal a human six times faster then the average time. She had been working at it all day trying to get it just right but it did not seem to work no matter how many times she's tried it. Sighing she leaned back in her chair, took her glasses off and rubbed her eyes.
"Kami this is not turning out the way I had planned." she mumbled to herself unaware of the other person now in her office.
"So you are the half-breeds woman." spoke a deep and emotionless voice making Kagomes spine shiver and her eyes snap to her couch in the corner.
"Who are you." she all but growled out to the figure. She could see cold gold eyes in the dark but they were definitely not Inuyasha's.
"That is not important at this point. I am just here to warn you if you get involved any further with the half-breed you wont be able to leave his side." the figure stated standing up at full height walking over to the door.
"Is that a threat?" she questioned, the figure stopped and glared at her.
"It was a warning since it seems he's dead set on keeping you around." he stated again.
"Okay..? Thanks I guess?" she said not really sure what else to say.
"We shall meet again, sooner then you think." and with that he disappeared out her door before she could even get a good look at him.
I swear what is it with demons thinking they could come and go as they please in her home. Finally having enough of work for the day she guessed she should grab some lunch and since Sango was home she'd probably hit Rin up since they kind of bailed on girls night. Sending out a quick text if to see if Rin wanted to have lunch which she got her reply a minute later.
"Alright Kagome better be ready to spill since this is Rin we're talking about here. She could get information out the mouth of a mime if she wanted." Kagome stated to herself going to change real quick and meet Rin at the 'Olive Garden'.
She got there early and didn't have to wait long since Rin was always on time.
"Hey girl!" screamed the energetic short woman walking over to her. Rin was a very short woman standing at 5 feet even with long brown hair that was out most of the time. She was the more friendly of the group of friends she had. But that didn't mean she wasn't dangerous, Rin was an amazing assassin and you sure as hell didn't want her as an enemy. With her innocent looking hazel eyes you could easily trust her but don't cross her.
"Damn girl you gotta be so loud." stated Kagome boerdly with a smile on her face. Rin just smiled bigger.
"Well sorry since two of my bff left me hanging and I finally get to see one of them not at work." Rin said taking off her coat to reveal a lovely winter dress and tights. Sighing Kagome knew she had to explain and soon or Rin was going to drag it out of her.
"Ok look it all happened yesterday night when Sango and I went on that double date." she started.
A/N; HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! It's little old me and I'm back with another chapter, I hope you guys aren't to mad at me for taking so long but as I said in my other story I'll have more time to write since I'm still working out all my stuff for college and I'm taking a break from job hunting for a while.
