Chapter: 11
I sat drinking my soda while waiting for Rin to come out of shock. I just finished telling her what happened yesterday and she was looking at me like I was crazy. Well okay maybe I was a little crazy but you know crazier then I already was.
"So you mean to tell me there was a gang war in you building, then you placed the beads of submission on an Inu demon. And then you went on a date with the demon, and got shot. And after that you got shot, he basically molested you in your own bathroom. Proceeded to heal you and then you two got into a fight this morning causing him to leave in huff with that pervert Sango went out with last night." Rin stated trying to make sure she got all the facts down, Kagome gave her a slight nod to her friend. Rin began to smile at her meaning one of two things 1.) She had a new boy toy, or 2.) She was ready to kill someone.
"So you are obviously telling me this because you want me to get rid of them right." she asked exciting herself more. Sighing Kagome shook her head.
"No Rin I am merely telling you, since you are one of my bestfriends what happened last night." Kagome said placing her hand to her head, for some reason she felt as if she was being watched and she didn't like it. Sending a silent signal to Rin they both began to look around in a small manor so they were not noticed. Kagomes eyes landed on something fuzzy on top of a mans head. And not just any man, the guy she really didn't want to see especially after last night. Sighing she rubbed her temples knowing there was going to be a huge headache there in a few minutes.
"Calm down Rin it's just dog-boy." Kagome spoke as she lit a cigarette, Rin's body relaxed only a little.
"Oh well I'd like to meet this guy that made the oh so emotionless Kagome blush." stated Rin smiling looking around for him. She just rolled her eyes at her friend, she would really just like to leave before he decided to come over.
"Hey look there he is!" Rin said excitedly while standing and waving her hands in the air.
"Inuyasha! Inuyasha! Hey INUYASHA OVER HERE!" she yelled over to the man that was sitting with two other people. Kagome smacked her hand to her face, Rin could be so childish sometimes.
"Rin sit your ass down before they kick us out." Kagome hissed yanking the shorter girl down in her seat. She received a pout before it turned into a smile again. But before Kagome could speak a shadow standing over her, looking up she could see Inuyasha standing there glaring at her.
"What the hell wench, your friend is loud as hell." he stated flopping in the chair next to her. She was trying so hard not to stab him in this crowded restaurant. Her focus was torn away when she saw the man that scared the shit out of her in her office.
"You!" she gasp standing pointing at the taller demon next to Inuyasha.
"Yea that's Sesshomaru my older jackass of a brother," Inuyasha stated picking up a menu. He received a smack to the head.
"That's half brother." Sesshomaru said sitting down next to Rin since it was the only set left. The other man sat in between Kagome and Sesshomaru.
"Okay, well it was nice seeing you but we really should be going right Rin," Kagome tried picking up her purse and standing, only to be pulled back into her chair.
"Nonsense wench we're here might as well eat" Inuyasha said placing his hand around her shoulders to keep her in her spot. Kagome was about ready to murder the demon that dared to tell her what to do, she tried to calm her self but it wasn't working with the unknown male staring at her.
"What are you look at," she snapped after smacking Inuyasha hand off of her.
"Wow mute you sure know how to pick em. The names Koga." he stated smirking at her which earned him a glare.
"Let me know if dog breath over there can't handle you. I'd be a much better mate anyway." Koga continued placing a kiss on her hand. Kagome could feel Inuyasha's demon stir as he growled, thinking quick she snatched her hand back and grabbed Inuyashas which calmed him down.
"Thanks but I'm not really interested in a perverted wolf demon, who can't take a hint. Besides you couldn't handle me anyway." she added in rolling her eyes trying to pry her hand from Inuyashas. Koga glared at the human woman inferno of him.
"The hell you mean I can't handle you, I'm not leader of my pack for nothing woman." he snapped crossing his arm. Rin who was about to take about of her food dropped her fork in shock and quickly looked to Kagome, who held a familiar look. Thinking fast she took Sesshomarus empty plate a held it up in front of Koga just in time to catch a flying needle. Shocking the demons at the table since they hadn't noticed when she pulled out the needle or when she threw it. Sighing in relief Rin sat down with the now cracked plate, yes Kagome had thrown it hard enough for it to crack half way through the plate.
"Kagome really, in a public place." Rin hissed at her, especially since she was always on her ass about not killing people in a public place. Defiantly not a pace they came to all the time.
"Sorry Rin reflex," she stated bored finally getting her hand back, only to have him slip his hand around her waist.
"And you talk about me who doesn't have any self-control. At least I can hold back." Rin stated calling the waiter over for a new plate after taking the needle out and giving it back to her friend.
"So you must be just as crazy as the wench if you are friends with her." stated Inuyasha giving his order to the now very scared waiter. Rin smiled at him.
"Nope I think she's the only crazy one in the group." she stated which earned her a kick under the table.
"Your funny, Rin is a lot crazier then me." Kagome stated taking another drag of her almost forgotten cigarette. Inuyasha wrinkled his nose at her before snatching in and crushing it. Kagome glared at him.
"Hey just because I have to take a bunch of mental pills every day does not mean I am crazy. I like to think of it as just a bit different." she defended silently caching the look they gave each other.
"Sure Rin, what ever you have to say to live with your self." she teased giving a small smile. Growling a little Rin went back to eating her now almost cold plate of food. She had almost forgotten abut the larger demon sitting next to her until she felt eyes on her. Turning her brown eyes met with amber, not knowing what to do she just sat and stared at him back.
"You should refrain from staring human." Sesshomaru snapped as he turned back t his own plate that was now placed in front of him. Rin smiled anyway.
"Well you started it first demon." she spoke in a sing songy way. Sesshomaru glared at the small woman, who did she think she was.
"Right, so is there a reason you are stalking me?" Kagome questioned turning to Inuyasha as he stuffed his face with raman. Frowning at him she smacked him on the shoulder stopping him in his tracks.
"What wench?" he asked after gulping down his food.
"You eat like a five year old." she sighed handing him a napkin, he glared at her but took it.
"Like I said is there a reason you are stalking me?" she asked again, Inuyasha smirked at her.
"Actually there is sweet heart, I need your help with something." he stated which earned her attention.
"My help with what?" she pressed trying to get details.
"Their is this rival gang that's been giving us problem and I need your help to take them out." he spoke through a stuffed mouth. Rolling her eyes she gave a quick look to Rin who was listening intently now.
"Sorry dog-boy but I'm not an assassin, therefore I don't take people out." Kagome said trying to eat a little of her food but found her appetite gone. Inuyasha gave her a funny look before chuckling.
"Don't lie wench I can smell it and it aint a pleasant smell on you." he said smirking thinking he had her. Kagome narrowed her eyes at him.
"Are you saying I stink?" she questioned glaring daggers at him.
"No I'm not and don't try to change the subject." he spoke smoothly going back to stuffing his face. She huffed at him and decided to ignore him. Ten minutes passed and he didn't get an answer and it was pissing him off.
'This wench is really giving me the silent treatment.'
"Really wench, ignoring me now? What are we in grade school?" he spoke after finishing his food to glare at her. Kagome continued to ignore him and go on with forcing her food down. Sighing he stared at her bored.
"Wench like it or not you are my mate, meaning when you move in with me, and you will be. You have to get used to what I do and sometimes I'm going to need your help. I can't have a weak mate now can I?" he finished waiting for her reply. Kagome froze when she heard him speak.
"Do I look like I care if I'm your mate dog-boy? And what ,makes you think I would go anywhere with your ass. I sure as hell wouldn't move in with you." she snapped glaring at him with such anger. Smirking Inuyasha crossed his arms.
"Don't worry princess you'll love living with me. And doing other things with me." he stated and winked while moving his hand up her thigh. Causing a small blush to rise to her cheeks. Rin who was watching quietly from the side lines dropped her fork and smiled wide.
"Omk Sango wasn't kidding when she said you blushed." she said excitedly taking out her phone for a picture.
"Do it Rin and I'll kill you," Kagome hissed smacking Inuyashas hand away from her thigh. Pouting Rin put her phone back.
"Well maybe you should do it Kags." Rin stated taking a sip from her drink still pouting. Everyone turned to look at her.
"You would tell your friend to go with a man she just met?" questioned Sesshomaru.
"I don't mean move in with the guy, I'm just saying that if you help him then he should help you." she stated as if it was so simple.
"Rin?" Kagome questioned. Sighing she put her drink down.
"From the way you talked about getting shot, you seemed to want revenge yes?" she said earning a nod from the older woman.
"Then in return for you helping him, he must help you find out who shot you so you can have your sweet and deadly revenge." Rin spoke smiling at the three shocked faces of Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and Koga. Well Sesshomaru didn't show it on the outside but Rin saw the shock in his eyes. Kagome seemed to think things over.
"Fine. I'll help you dog-boy if you help me, do we have a deal?" she asked holding her hand out for him. Smirking Inuyasha grabbed her hand.
"Deal mate."
A/n; Hello again my lovelies! I'm back with another chapter for you guys! I hoped you liked it, I promised a more interesting chapter and I hoped I delivered. From here on it'll get a little bumpy if you will. Anyway until next time!
