Chapter; 12

They all finished lunch a few minutes after the deal was made. Kagome told Inuyasha to come back to her place so they could work things out with their deal and what not.

"Okay dog boy make yourself at home, since I know you will anyway." Kagome spoke walking into her closet to drop off her coat. Inuyasha grumbled but flopped on her bed and laid back placing his hands behind his head. He could still smell them on her sheets and it relaxed his demon.

"I said get comfortable not go to sleep." he heard her say, he hadn't realized he closed his eyes until she spoke.

"Yeah, yeah wench calm yourself I wasn't sleeping." he said sitting up to face her, he continued to stare blankly at her. She looked breath taking to him right now. She changed into a pair of pajama shorts that seem to fit her perfectly round ass and a tank that showed just a bit of tummy. He was so out of it he didn't notice when she stood in front of him and waved.

"Hello! Is there anybody home?" she spoke still waving her hands in front of his face. His eyes snapped back to her face.

"What wench?" he questioned resuming his visual drooling over her body. Kagome glared at him and smacked his head.

"Ow! Damn it, the fucks wrong with you?" he shouted holding onto his now sore ear.

"What's wrong is you're not paying me any mind and that I don't like. If you're not going to take things seriously then you can go home and forget about me helping you." she spoke sternly pushing him off her bed to sit down. She could hear him growl at her but didn't care.

"Keh', females and their emotions." he muttered sitting down in a near by chair. She really wanted to say something but knew if they started then they'd never get anything done. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath and then reopened them.

"Okay look dog boy we have to make up a plan if you want my help. I'm not going in there without a way out." she stated flopping on her bed behind him, he had to turn to face her again.

"I get it wench you're scared and need a escape route." he spoke smirking at her, he only got a blank stare in return.

"Trust me I only fear two things and that's not one of them. My ass isn't trying to get arrested, I've been to jail. It's not as scary as you'd think but I'd rather live a free life if you know what I mean." she said rolling her eyes at him. Inuyasha stared her down for a few moments, taking in the hidden emotion behind her eyes.

"What you go for?" he asked curiosity getting the better of him. Shrugging her shoulders she answered.

"Murder."

"okay well then i'm glad that you're on our side wench." he said smirking.

"Look I'd really like to get some sleep. So if we're not going over plans today then can you leave." Kagome said laying down on her bed. She could feel a huge migraine coming on and he was not helping it at all in fact she was sure he was the cause of it. Feeling the bed shift on her right side she opened her eyes seeing golden ones staring right back at her. Returning the stare with a blank one of her own they laid there for a few minutes.

"What the hell are you doing?" she questioned and he shrugged.

"You said you wanted to go to sleep, what kind of man would I be if I left my mate without protection in her most vulnerable hour." he answered propping himself up on his right hand so he could look down at her.

"Leave." Kagome stated coldly turning over so her back was facing him. He smirked knowing he was starting to get under her skin, slowly he crawled closer to her. Inuyasha was lucky for his fast reflexes he would have been paralyzed by the needle his mate was holding right above his shoulder.

"Did you really think I'd let you get me twice?" he said with his normal cocky smirk going on, Kagome glared at him trying to break free of his iron grip but it wasn't working very well.

"Damn you Inuyasha, I swear to Kami if you don't let me go right now I s-" he placed his free hand over her mouth just in time.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you wench, unless you feel like buying a whole new bed." he whispered in her ear causing shivers to run down her spine. She was pissed because she knew he was right, if she 'sat' him it would result in her bed being broken and having to order another one that wouldn't arrive for a long time considering it was a personalized order. He let her go once he knew she wasn't going to 'sit' him.

"That's a good wench." he smirked giving her head a little pat, he could feel the waves of hate just flow from her body.

"I hate you so much." she hissed as he took her needle from her grabbing her in his arms.

"Yeah yeah I know wench. Just be a good bitch and listen to alpha." he murmured holding on to her tightly knowing she'd try to hurt him at the 'bitch' comment.

"Damn I want to kill you so bad right now." she stated trying to keep her cold voice but a yawn ruined it. Inuyasha looked down at her to see how tired she was, it was like she hadn't slept in forever. Leaning his forehead against hers they just laid looking into each others eyes.

"Sleep mate, let alpha protect you." he whispered, she was trying her best not to go to sleep the last thing she needed was to be defenseless against a horny dog demon. But she was just so tired and truthfully she wasn't feeling good. Besides something in his eyes just told her to trust him.

"If you do anything to me dog-boy i'm going to kill you." she mumbled with her eyes closing. Inuyasha felt his ears fall slightly at her comment.

'Did she really believe I'd force myself on her?' he thought as he watched her slip slowly into dream land. Sighing he propped himself up next to her in bed so he could watch over her like the over protective dog he was. And eventually he fell asleep.

{Somewhere on the other side of town}

"Sir it seems like he's taking a liking to the raven haired girl we saw him with at the restaurant." said a bat demon.

The man sitting in a thrown like chair just nodded his head and smirked.

"Thank you, you've done well." he stated his red eyes piercing them. The bat demon bowed to him.

"Thank you Lord Naraku." he stated and left the room. Naraku chuckled darkly, and looked to the beautiful woman laying across his lap.

"It seems we've found his weakness my sweet." he whispered gently combing his fingers through her black hair. She smiled up to him placing a hand on his cheek.

"It seems we have, shall we give him a warning then?" she questioned running her fingers down his smooth skin.

"Of course Kikiyo, I wouldn't be a gentleman if I didn't at least give him a chance. Nodding her head she sat up to capture his lips.

"Don't worry dove, he'll get the message by tomorrow."

The night passed as fast as it came and Kagome was not very happy, she would never admit it but that was one of the best sleeps she's ever had. And she also enjoyed the feel of his arms wrapped strongly around her but there was no way in hell she was telling him that. She was sure he knew anyway since he could smell if she's lying which in turn ended up with them fighting and him basically kidnapping her. So here she was in his car on the way to his house, Kami how she hated him right now. Her glare was getting worse with every mile the got closer to his home. Inuyasha felt it but didn't care truthfully on the inside he was excited to bring his mate home for the first time but on the outside he'd never tell her nor anyone else that. If anyone besides Miroku found out then he'd have to kill him. Kagome finally gave up on glaring at him when she started getting a major headache and it was becoming very uncomfortable with just the two of them in the car riding in silence. Normally she was used to silence but right now it was just about killing her at how quite he was being, he would usually say something. Be it an insult or a backwards compliment. Sighing she closed her eyes hoping to catch a quick nap but then she felt the slow down then stop. Peeking out from under her eyelashes she saw a beautiful house, ok well more like mansion sitting higher up on a hill. It seems he lived out in the forest. She was guessing it was so no one would find out the things he did. Kagome hadn't noticed Inuyasha get out or when he held her door open for her.

"You like it?" he questioned taking her hand and helping her out the car. She jumped a bit but not enough for someone to notice. Nodding she let him take her hand and lead her to the front door.

"Welcome to your new home." he whispered in her ear before opening the door leaving Kagome standing there slightly shocked.
