They call me Phoenix. Living amongst enemies, I have found my place.
It wasn't unusual for an unwanted child to be found by dumpsters in New York City by the authorities, humans or not.
There are some questions that I have painfully learned to never ask, and I will not tell you what they are, for you may be guilty of seeking what many have before.
Though I am alone. Without siblings or family, such loss would seem to darken any teenager's day, reminiscing or wandering of what could have been, but instead I lead my life as Phoenix and must build my honor that was taken from me.
Tall and slender, with dark brown hair and dark blue eyes, I am seen as any ordinary girl on the streets, but as they say: Never judge a book by its cover.
This approach is what usually had the Five after me. Looking after me was their job, as Gabriel had instructed them, but it seems that I have to do most of the watching when they're around.
Rafe, the most daring of them all, seems to be after me, for reasons which you can probably guess. I may be better looking then most, but come on, Rafe? I doubt I will ever fall for you.
There's Ulf and Gregory from the lot, who are quite characters, making themselves known to the pack even though they suffer humiliation when they can't quite pull off an act.
There are two more of the Five, but you'll just have to wait for them to show up and make some music first.
