The dark sweeps over an abandoned town. Light escapes the sky. Left alone in the world, a girl cowers in the old butcher shop. She seems to be the survivor of a massacre. She gets up from her corner behind the counter and walks to the door, or what seems to be left of the door. She calls for her father and brother, no one answers her. She's too afraid to go outside in fear of what might be waiting. She takes small steps out onto the sidewalk. She finds nothing but blood and dead bodies on the streets. She falls onto her knees and cries beside her father's corpse. She didn't want to be alone. She packed a bad of clothes and set out to find somewhere safe to stay.
