Second Space shuttle
After Jake sabotages the first space shuttle and it crashes, the pilot in the second space shuttle decide to return to the base, Hells Gate, because if their ship goes down then there is no way they would be able to leave Pandora to get to the spacecraft for the return to Earth. They return to base and land about the time the Banshee's are convurging on the base and attacking those von foot outside the base buildings
Selfridge is screaming at them for returning, until he see's the film footage of the other ships being destroyed, including the first space shuttle with Jake Scully's avatar destroying it as well as cause Quarriches craft to crash.
Parker Selfridge realizes they have lost the battle as the Na-vi's Deitiy, Eywa turns against them and the animals attack their base. Selfridge realizes that without the space shuttle they would have been trapped on Pandora and never able to return to earth.
