This is going to be the beginning of some major drama *gasps*! Big thanks to all who have reviewed, added me to author alert/favourite author and added the story to their favourites/alerts!
Also to a 'Bethany' who sent me an anonymous review asking me if I'd been to a Paramore concert in Glasgow... Sadly no, I didn't go but I wish I had :).
You may have noticed a small change to the title of the story, I thought this sounded a little better :).
Anyway, here's chapter 9...

Chapter 9: Never Think
EPOV
"Well Isabella, it's been fantastic to see you like this. Edward, it has been a pleasure to learn about you and your family, I hope to meet with you all again in the near future." Evelyn smiled.
"Of course." Esme grinned.
'Definitely, Nerina is a sweetheart.' I rolled my eyes at Esme's obvious love for everyone.
I was rolling my eyes a lot recently, I think Bella had something to do with that. Speaking of Bella, I had something very special planned for her tonight.
Alice looked at me and winked, showing me the vision she had just had.
'Nice plan and it's about bloody time.' She grinned.
Again, I rolled my eyes at my sister.
Once we were all settled back at my house Alice had everyone gathered in the living room.
Alice had come with me to Bella's to set everything up, Emmett and Jasper distracted Bella by trying to teach her how to play video games... She had won every game. I chuckled to myself at that thought.
So far all of this had lead us to me covering Bella's eyes and leading her up the stairs.
"Edwaaaaaaaard," she whined, "what is going on, you've been acting suspicious ever since we got back?"
"Patience, my love, is a virtue." I smiled.
"Yes, and it's rather obvious that I have no patience." She retorted.
I threw my head back and barked out a laugh, she giggled with me.
We finally came to a stop in the doorway of her bedroom and I took my hands away from her eyes.
BPOV
I gasped, there before my eyes were thousands of rose petals all laid out on my bed, on the floor, just everywhere.
I turned around to face Edward only to find him on the floor, on one knee, holding out a beautiful diamond ring.
"Bella, I love you now and I will love you for all eternity. You are all that I see, all that I know and, love, I would go to hell and back to bring you happiness because happiness is what you deserve. Will you do me the honour of becoming Mrs Isabella Cullen?" His voice was soft yet the things he had just said made my heart pound against my ribcage and the adrenaline course through my body.
Tears pricked at my eyes and all I could do was nod my head and grin like Emmett.
Edward smiled my favourite smile and slipped the ring on my finger, I could really appreciate it's magnificence now. I watched as it twinkled in the light, I adored the tiny clusters of diamonds.
"What is all this about?" I asked, gesturing to the petals that were decorating our bedroom.
"I had to set the mood didn't I?" He smiled, flashing me that crooked grin.
"Be serious Edward, you know I don't care about being fancy, I just want you." I said, momentarily dazed by his smouldering eyes.
"Well there is also something else..." He trailed off suggestively.
"What do you-" but before I could finish my sentence his lips were on mine.
Then I understood. He and I were practically the same now, we could love each other physically the same way every other couple except Edward and myself could.
EPOV
Bella had dozed off at three in the morning, she'd made sure that we were both dressed though because it's not unlike my sister and her sister's to come barging in without caring or thinking.
I thought back to the countless times that Alice had done that to Rosalie and Emmett, she claims that her brain is still scarred, she pulls those images from her mind whenever I won't do something for her.
I grinned to myself and looked down at Bella's sleeping figure, she was literally a goddess, so peaceful and carefree in the way she slept yet you could see from the slight twitches that her dreams weren't as calm. It was times like these that I wished I could read her thoughts and see the pictures in her mind.
All of a sudden everything went black. All of my senses and powers were gone! I lay there motionless, unable to speak or even hear my attackers thoughts; I couldn't lash out, my body wasn't functioning. What was going on?
I couldn't see Bella to check if she was all right. I tried to call her name but I was immobile, useless.
Something grabbed me, at first I thought it was Bella but these hands were rough, too strong.
My attackers lifted me and I had to just lie there as they took me away from Bella, I didn't know if she was safe. I thrashed against my invisible restraint but it was pointless, nothing worked.
BPOV
I woke the next morning in a blissful daze, I reached behind me to feel for Edward but he was gone.
My eyes shot open instantly. He was probably in the kitchen but my instincts were telling me that something was awfully wrong. The house was quiet. Too quiet. I sat up slowly and got out of bed.
I tiptoed down the stairs silently. All the rooms were empty, Edward wasn't here and what was worse; his scent was gone too.
I sunk to the floor in despair, what had happened as I slept silently beside him and why hadn't I woken up?
Suddenly the phone rang, startling me. I answered it quickly, I thought that maybe it was Edward.
"Hello."
"Bella, Bella are you okay? Is Edward there I have to speak to him immediately!" Alice's shrill voice was full of panic. Not a good sign.
"No Ali, I can't find him anywhere, what's going on? Is he okay?" My voice was breaking, what if he wasn't okay? What would I do? If Alice didn't know then something horrible must've happened.
"Oh no! Jazz, go and get Carlisle now. Okay Bells I'm gonna need you to stay put we will be there soon." She was trying to be calm for my sake but I knew that she was just as worried as I was.
I had gotten dressed and was now sitting on my sofa waiting for everyone to arrive, as the seconds ticked away, my emotions were being strewn all over the place like papers floating in the wind. There were so many questions that I needed answering.
Why the Hell had I not woken up last night? How come Alice hadn't seen this coming? I looked down at the pretty ring that was glistening on my left hand. I knew that Edward wouldn't have left, the situation was too strange. It was as though all traces of his scent had been washed away by something or someone.
The front door was suddenly flung open and Alice bounded into the living room closely followed by Esmerelda and Alexis.
"Oh my gosh Bella are you okay?" Alice called as she took in my nervous face and my tense body language.
"I'm fine Alice just please tell me what's going on." I said looking up into her toffee-coloured eyes.
"Wish we could tell you Baby Bell but we know just as much as you which is zilch." Emmett boomed as he, too, entered the living room.
"What do you mean?" I asked quietly.
By now everyone had joined us. Jasper was sat on the floor with Alice lying in his lap, rubbing her temples as though she had a headache. Esme was holding Carlisle's hand, I didn't need to be an empath to know that they were completely terrified for their son. Rosalie had a hard look on he face and even Emmett didn't look himself.
"Last night Alice sort of, blacked out, if that's what you'd call it." Esmerelda explained as she brought in a cup of tea for me, she thought a cup of tea could make all your troubles go away.
I frowned in confusion at her words.
"It was as though all my senses had been cut off, everything went black; it was like all my powers had been taken away temporarily." Alice was speaking with her eyes closed.
"Do you think it was other vampires?" Alexis wondered.
"I don't think, I'm sure it was other vampires; they've managed to leave no traces of anything." Carlisle nodded.
"Edward's scent is upstairs but it's nowhere else and there's no scent of anything else here." I agreed.
"Bells what happened last night?" Jasper looked at me, sending a calming wave throughout the room, he could see straight through my calm façade.
"Whoa man, do we really wanna know?" Emmett guffawed.
Esme shot him a warning glare.
"Be serious Em." Rosalie snapped.
It startled me to hear her speak, she barely ever did in my presence.
"Go on Bella." Seth urged.
"Well I'm not quite sure; Edward was there when I fell asleep but he was gone when I woke up." I tried to remember anything strange that may have occurred between that time but I came up blank every time.
"You didn't hear anything?" Giacobbe asked in his thick Italian accent.
I shook my head in response.
"You don't think-" Jasper began, looking at Carlisle
Carlisle just nodded wordlessly.
"What?" Alexis looked from Carlisle to Jasper questioningly.
"Bella, can you remember if you dreamed at all last night?" Carlisle stared at me inquisitively.
"I can remember starting to but then-" I trailed off, realising what they were getting at...
"Everything went black." Alice finished for me.
"Oh." Esme gasped. I put my head in my hands and drew in a shaky breath.
"You wouldn't even have realised because you were asleep." Seth whispered.
"How could I have let this happen." I muttered; mostly to myself.
"It isn't your fault sweetie." Esme soothed.
"I feel as though I should have been able to do something." I sighed
"We all do Bella." Alice looked at me sympathetically.
"On a lighter note, congrats Bells." Esmerelda said, clearly trying to lift the atmosphere in the room.
I looked down at my
ring and smiled as best I could given the current situation.
"Oh gosh yes, I almost forgot, welcome to the family." Alice beamed.
"That's a gorgeous ring Bells." Alexis gushed.
"It was his mother's; the ring." Carlisle said with a twinkle in his eyes.
I again tried to smile but all my worries weren't lost on Jasper.
"I'm sure he's fine Bella." He tried to reassure me and sent me calming waves again, they worked but only a little.
"You can't know that Jasper, what if Victoria has something to do with this, what if she took him?" I shuddered at my own morbid thoughts.
"Oh it wasn't her-" Alice said solemnly, "it was the Volturi."
(A.N.): Muahaha I'm going to stop right there now, although for as long as I've made you wait I should write the whole story up and hand it to you on a silver platter with a side ordering of Edward and Jacob cookies.
I truly am sorry for this being so late but I went on holiday, I went to Australia (AMAZING)! I'm not going to bore you all by saying any more on the subject of my bad updating.
Instead, all those who actually still want to read this can be assured that your tenth chapter is being written as you read this and WILL be up within the next five days even if I have to sit here and write with my mother standing over me, making me do it xD.
Please review (even if it is just to shout at me and tell me how much you want to throw bricks at my windows :S).
