Author's Notes:

This story summarizes Celeste's big fight with Lena Rosenberg for making big insults about her and also introduces a whole new character. This also ties in with Life & Times Of Maude Findlay: Descriptive Tales as the big fight between Archie and Maude takes place in the final chapter of the story. I know this is extremely short but I promise you that you'll eventually see more of Cuzanne Stromberg; she is quite a fascinating character. I only wish I could bring her back into my series someday. I would love her to meet some of the newest members of the team, including Queen Consort Lee Dumonde.

Read and review!

God What A Day!

God, what a day this has been! First I heard that Celeste had a clandestine fight with Lena Rosenberg, and now I'm hearing the outcome of the latest conflict between Archie and Maude pertaining to the message he wrote on my blog! Now, about the fight between Celeste and Lena: apparently Lena wrote an affront directed at Maude and Celeste stood up to her, at which Lena began insulting her sexual orientation and threatened to ruin her reputation at school. Celeste was so outraged that she accepted her challenge and then they proceeded to have the fight at dawn.

This is what happened: Lena started the fight by making a snide and contemptuous remark towards Celeste regarding her gender, "You know, Schafer, I sometimes wonder why you're so crazy about women. But then I begin to speculate something: I think originally you were born a man but you felt like you were trapped in the wrong body and that's why you decided to change into a woman. Is that right? That's the best kept secret you managed to keep under covers to fool every single person you have ever loved?" Celeste exploded into an indignant and irate rage and then shot out a swirling stream of fire from her hands at her opponent.

Lena then multiplied into five clones and then chilled and froze the stream of fire as it swooped down on them. Then she disintegrated and dismantled the stream of ice into a million pieces and converted it into a laser-projected hydrokinetic beam. Celeste Schafer then manipulated the hydrokinetic laser beam away from her with her wand and then fired it in a supersonic wave at Lena in separate spheres after telekinetically splitting the electric and hydrokinetic elements from the energy as a whole, making her only a handful of people with this extremely rare ability to do that; Lena then immersed herself into a metallic robotic form with a metallic, steel robotic suit covering her entire being in addition to having her eyes gleam and radiate a burning, blazing maroon glow.

Her right hand was then transformed into an ultraviolet/flamethrower Uzi gun and then she started shooting at her enemy with the weapon. The beams and shots exploded and combusted several foundations into explosive flames as they scorched, burned and incinerated them. From these explosions a thin line of flames sped and torpedoed through the arena and Celeste raced to evade and avoid getting burned and torched by the deadly stream of fire altogether.

Lena then unleashed a massive series of earthquakes that caused lava to erupt from deep within the surface and then the huge surge of magma splashed and gushed throughout the area and then consumed everything in sight. Celeste then dashed through the raging lava while surging in an aura of ice and then stalled the magma in its tracks in solid ice and then she fired out thousands of ice missiles from the ground and then ignited them with solar flares.

The solar flare ice missiles then rushed at Lena at 50 mph and then bombarded her with so much speed that she barely had time to dodge them. Celeste then leashed out a powerfully potent shock wave and then manipulated the lightning bolts that were crackling and dancing around her and then she charged up an electrokinetic ray and then shot out the ray at her.

Lena then disappeared into a shroud of shadows and then blasted ultraviolet shadow bombs as she materialized with ultraviolet, dark electric sparks leaping and ricocheting off her body and the smoke was willowing in midair. The ultraviolet shadow bombs flashed and flew at Celeste as she sent out star bombs while spinning in midair and facing herself towards her opponent and then the star bombs disintegrated into a brilliant, white flash out that sent Lena reeling toward a wall. The elderly hotelier then crashed onto the back wall and the sheer impact of the fall triggered a sudden rock slide from the ceiling that threatened to instigate a cave-in that could kill both of the women.

Lena then rebounded from her fall and then charged up a starlight ray from her hands that grew and increased with each power-up from the lingering stardust. She had learned Celeste's ability and was now planning to use it against her. Celeste then imploded in a blast of hellish fire and then was ravaged in a surge of red/maroon electric sparks while screaming at the top of her voice; she knew just as much white magic as she knew dark magic. Lena then released the starlight ray from her hands and then it torpedoed right at the old witch as white lightning bolts rippled through the area and slashed through the ceiling in sudden flashes of light, causing more rocks and boulders to crumble.

Fortunately for Celeste, she triggered a dark force field that allowed her to prevent the ray from blasting her out of the arena and felt the sudden, strong earthquake tremble beneath her feet and heard the rocks tumbling and plummeting down the earth in a quick whoosh of the earth crumbling to the ground as she was dazed and stunned by the intensity of the light shining in her eyes. Celeste screamed at the top of her lungs as her eyes flared and glowed with the most intense hue of red and the shadows were beginning to shroud and surround her from within and threatened to destroy her.

But then a shadowy figure suddenly forged into the battle and then unleashed a rapid explosion of thin, clear, transparent ice that was as frail and fragile as glass. Celeste and Lena were frozen right in their tracks and the rock slide was rendered immobile in a bizarre tableau. The arena was then surrounded in a shield of crystal clear ice; it was only then that the shield of ice exploded into smithereens as shards of glass floated in the air and darted out of the building in rotating beams of ice. Celeste had altered into her phoenix form and transported Leona and the stranger out of the battle, leaving the building they were fighting in a ramshackle, charred, scorched, burnt, broken, destroyed, immolated mess.

...

Just a few hours later, Lena and Celeste found themselves on top of a skyscraper building with Eliza Starks, Sylvester Sebastian and Suzanne Fiona lying beside them. The four of them woke up and then they all confronted the blond-haired stranger who saved them. Her name was Cuzanne Stromberg, and she had wispy, flat, smooth, crispy, straw-dry strawberry blonde hair with bangs on them accompanied by misty, obscure, sharp, piercing, translucent blue/grey eyes and having a thin, lean, slender build along with a petite stature.

She was a spitting image of Suzanne Flon, except she had muscular and graceful, athletic arms and strong and powerful, diminutive legs, besides having a diminutive, pointy, petite, craggy, flat nose and circular, rounded, wide, protruding ears. Cuzanne also had a German accented voice and was also of German and Welsh descent, having been born in Berlin Germany in 1945, making her 64-years-old.

"Who the hell are you?" Lena importuned Cuzanne. "My name is Cuzanne Stromberg, and I am a distant cousin of Merula Stapleton. She was my 3rd cousin once removed. Merula and I loved each other dearly and were very close. I was saddened to hear of her death 24 years ago and I still mourn for her every day. I am glad she made it big in America though," Cuzanne Stromberg introduced herself. Then she turned to Celeste and replied, "Oh, and you must be her former lover Celeste. I am so sorry for your loss and I apologize for not being able to show up at her funeral. Really I am. If there is anything I could do for you."

"Thank you for your compassion, Cuzanne. I really appreciate it. I still mourn her loss too but I have learned to deal with it," Celeste expressed her thanks with a quiet and gentle smile. "If you must know my boyfriend of 25 years died from the damned swine flu. He was found dead as I arrived at his house just the other day. I went to his funeral just last week. I miss him so much," Cuzanne Stromberg confessed to Celeste quite snappishly. "Don't cry, Cuzanne. You'll be fine, trust me. Why don't you come to our mansion and stay awhile?" Eliza Starks offered the German/Welsh woman a place to stay.

"That is very nice of you, ma'am. And please, call me Cuzanne," Cuzanne thanked her graciously. And soon Celeste morphed into a phoenix once more and then everyone hopped on her. She then took off into the skies and they all glided back to the mansion. Cuzanne Stromberg was here to stay. Well, if you want to know how the melodrama was resolved between Archie and Maude, you must go to Maude's blog. She knows more about it than I do. And I heard that Suzanne Fiona may have a secret admirer in her hands... But that's another story for another day. Ciao!
