While Laboratory Technician Maxine Valera was walking on the footpath that led the way to Miami-Dade P.D. building with a cup of hot coffee from Starbucks in her hand, she raised the cup to her mouth and sipped her coffee before accidentally bumped into someone and made her coffee splashed all over her bright colored shirt and scalded her chest.
"Oh Dear!" Exclaimed Maxine painfully and looked up to the person that she just bumped into. It's Ryan Wolfe.
"Oh God…Look, Maxine, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were there. I'm extremely clumsy. I'm so sorry." Said Ryan, apologizing her.
"It's okay, Ryan. I wasn't looking, too." Said Maxine, shaking hot coffee drops off of her hand.
"No, no, it's not okay. Your shirt…I have no idea how are you gonna remove that huge stain." He said with a sad look on his face.
"It is okay. I've got another shirt in my locker so don't worry." She wore a smile.
"And your Starbucks, oh God, look, I'll buy you –" Said Ryan but Maxine didn't let him finish his sentence.
"Ryan, it's okay, really. You're my friend. Don't take it serious." She said with a friendly smile.
"If you said so…well…" Ryan paused for a second before he brought his mind back and continued. "Have a nice day." Said Ryan, taking one last look at the coffee stain on her chest and walked away. Even though she said it was okay, but to him, it wasn't. He thought that his apologies weren't enough, and he might need to make up for that.
Maxine quickly walked into the building and went to the locker room to change her top. The coffee stain was huge and still warm. She went to the women's room with the white clean shirt in her hand. She changed into it and walked out of the women's room with the dirty shirt in a plastic bag. She left the bag in her locker and made her way to the DNA lab when it's finally time to work.

Gee, Maxine and Ryan bumped into each other again. I guess I have to find a new way to start the story next time. LOL.
