Summary: Kouga isn't as slick as he thinks he is. Inuyasha knows his game.
When Kouga appeared within the encampment, the red clad Hanyou was resting on a low-lying tree branch. He looked around and, unfortunately, Bankotsu was nowhere to be found.
"What brings you here?" Inuyasha asked.
"Was just in the area and thought I'd swing by to see what you guys were doing."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, really," Kouga replied.
"Then why does it look like you're all set to leave already?"
Kouga swallowed hard before taking an unwanted seat. He had no interest in idle chic chat with Inuyasha but he didn't really have a choice. It sounded like the Hanyou was suspicious already. A few pointless conversations later, Kouga excused himself and took off towards the East. He was pretty sure that's where the Band of Seven's base was.
He had no idea he was being followed.
