Chapter One
Kurt listened to the waves coming in, felt the sand under his bare feet. The sky was a rainbow of reds and oranges as the sun rose over the horizon. He smiled at Blaine, squeezing his hand lightly.
"I love you," He whispered to the shorter boy, planting a soft kiss to his lips.
The beach was empty, just before tourist season started. It was early, when the small beach town was still fast asleep. This was their favorite time of day, when they could be alone.
"I love you, too." Blaine answered, a smile growing on his face. "But you already knew that."
Kurt chuckled softly. "I never get tired of hearing you say it, though."
They watched in silence as the sun rose, just as they did every day. It was a silent agreement they had: Every morning, they would walk on the beach and watch the sunrise. It was simple, but they simple things were what made their life together great.
"We should probably get going..." Kurt finally said, not really wanting to break the peaceful silence.
Blaine nodded his head in agreement, and led Kurt to their house.
