The Promised Day has come and passed. Blind, reliant on his faithful, slowly recovering Lieutenant, Roy awaits Havoc's successful therapy. Until then, he and Riza find themselves coping with the trauma of nearly having lost one another in the only way they can: by acting on their feelings. Ed gets himself transmuted instead of Nina. He ends up significantly more animal than expected. Now, he needs to figure out how to tell his brother who he is, Al needs to find out where his brother disappeared to, and Mustang just wants to know why this cat hates him so much.

A smile crossed his face, that picture brought him back fond memories of when he finally started making friends and getting along with his class. And it was all thanks to that little person with yellow hair and golden eyes who was right next to him in that portrait.

When rogue alchemists abduct both Edward and Mustang for their chimera experiments, will Alphonse and Mustang's crew be able to save them in time? Or will they lose their final shred of humanity and become one with the pack? Chimera!Ed and Chimera!Roy as well as a lot of parental Roy!Ed scattered throughout.
