Drabble 2 – It's Normal!

A/N: Cheese, I found this difficult to write.

"Merlin!" the boy jumped violently, stumbling back and busying himself with the laundry, face firmly averted and a blush of mortification reddening his ears. Arthur leaned to look down into the courtyard, expression becoming both amused and stern.
"I have been hearing…" Merlin grabbed frantically at the last tunic, flung haphazardly over the wardrobe. "That you have been ogling Lady Morgana…"
Merlin's head connected violently with the four-poster-bed, his cheeks puce. "NO! Not at all. I mean… that's a… you can't think…" he spluttered incoherently for a few seconds until Arthur placed a fatherly hand on his shoulder.
"Merlin," he began solemnly. "It's completely normal for boys your age to begin to develop… feelings… about women. And I…"
Merlin fled.
A/N: ok, I'm 20 words over the limit. So shoot me! (don't really). I just couldn't slim-line it effectively. It has been reduced however, from it's original length. Hence it's a bit jumpy.
