HereToStay20; This story and Written In The Stars kind of clashed together, so I scrapped Written In The Stars and put what everything from there to Lost and Found. Can't wait to know what you think in later chapters.
To those are reading, enjoy chapter three.
Newly appointed guards Jesús and Malka were leaving priderock to secure the kingdom's safety and that neither Zira nor her followers trespass into the Pridelands.
Malka looked at his friend with concerned brown eyes. "Is everything alright, Jesús?"
Jesús looked at his cousin before heading off in another direction leaving Malka confused but figured Jesús wanted to be alone went to patrol another part of the Pridelands.
Jesús walked through the vast savannahs of his home. His black mane blew in the morning breeze. His dark brown eyes was on his path ahead but his mind was elsewhere.
He along with the remaining males in the pride help King Simba defend the Pridelands at least until one of Simba and his half-sister Nala's cubs are chosen to lead the new Lion Guard which hasn't been active since his father murdered his own guard.
But during the time since Simba reclaimed the throne, he and his children has been getting judged because his father killed his brother. In all, Jesús and his remaining children don't want anything to do with Scar. But a lot can't see beyond the past, including the new king.
The pale beige lion was so much in his mind he wasn't paying attention to where his paws was going.
Soon the son of Scar found himself at the river of the eastern border. He closed his dark brown eyes as he felt the pain resurface after all this is where everything came crumbling down. He and his mother, Rhaenyra with his Aunt Sarabi was out hunting when some of his father's hyenas attacked.
With him being so young, just three-months, he wasn't able to do anything, he was helpless to just watch his mother and aunt fight the hyenas. For the fight to eventually move to the river gorge on the east-side of the kingdom.
It had happened so fast, two hyenas pounced on Sarabi which led to the dark beige lioness bumping into her sister, sending the pale beige lioness over the side of the gorge.
Forgetting all about the current danger, he rushed over to lean over the edge and tried to saved his mother. But he wasn't strong enough.
Now he forever lives with that failure. The pale beige lion now realised that he walked to the bank of the river that took his mother away. As he looked into the clear water he saw two scars going down his left eye. Another situation but permanent reminder of that tragic day he lost his mate and son to the evil plans of his second younger half-sister.
Jesús sighed heavily before looking up from his reflection, he squinted as he caught sight of something unusual up ahead. Looking around, Jesús walked into the calm river to the source of his interest.
What he eventually saw made he stop short with his right front paw hovering off the ground. After looking around to smell if anyone else was nearby, when he caught nothing Jesús grabbed the damp ball of fur that was against a rock in the river. Grunting he took a few cautious steps before running off into the savannah.

Malka was extremely worried about Jesús. Most of the pride wasn't treating his brother or his niece and nephew well. All because of their close relations to Scar. Even Malka's own half-brother was judging their cousins.
"Hey, Mal', wait up!"
The goldish-tan lion shook his head before looking to see a familiar light gold, blonde mane lion.
"Tojo, morning. What brings you out here?" Malka asked his good friend since cubhood.
"Ansel just ordered a search for anyone missing a cub." Tojo informed while scanning their surroundings with scanning bluish eyes.
Malka tilted his head in confuison. "Tojo, what happened?"
Tojo turned to the goldish-tan lion. "Jesús found a cub in the river on the east side of the Pridelands."
Malka grasped before heading in the direction of the river, maybe there was something he could track that Jesús might of missed.
The two walked towards the river and followed the river up towards the direction of the Moutain Kingdom.
"Stop." Tojo shook is head before looking at Malka. "We can't enter. Queen Masa cut all ties with us."
Malka growled lowly and bitterly. "I know. She banished me and my mother. said didn't want a son of Mufasa or his contribine staining her kingdom." But Malka didn't get a response. "Hey, To'-"
Malka stopped when he turned and saw what had his friend's attention. Something up head laid, unmoving.
The two friends walked over and gasped. It was two lionesses. One older, held a creamy cub close.
That lioness had pale creamy gold fur. As the other was a adolesent with creamy brown fur and a creamy brown tuff wth light gold streaks. For Tojo, he couldn't stop looking at these helpless young beauty.
Malka cleared his throat. "Come on Tojo, we must get them back home." before he gently grabbed the pale creamy gold lioness's nape before throwing her limp body on his back before gently grabbing the cub's scruff and took off running.
Tojo nodded and followed his friend's actions before running after the king's bastard brother towards their castle, their fortress. Priderock.
