Jason took the dozen boxes of pizza up the front steps of the La Push homestead, and with some difficulty, rang the doorbell.
A man in a wheelchair answered the door.
"Come in!" he said. Jason followed him in, his vision impaired by the tall stack of pizza boxes he carried.
He was led to a table, on which he set the pizza down.
Then he got a good look at the people seated around the table; nine oversized, muscular teenage boys sat around the table, looking at the pizza like a pack of hungry wolves stalking their prey.
Jason sped out of the house, jumped in his car, and shot down the road like a bullet out of a gun.
Jacob ran out the door, waving the bills in his hand.
"YOU FORGOT THE... Oh, never mind, it's free pizza."
"Those guys were huge!" Jason told his boss.
"Did you get the money?"
"No... But they were, like, giants!"
His boss put his hand to his face, slowly shaking his head.
