The next Day! Maka POV
I woke up at six in the morning. For a minute I did not remember where I was. But then all of my memories came back to me.

"Soul, is it true that you're looking for a new partner?"
Soul looked at me with blazing eyes and said with a cold expression, "Yeah, I guess you're right, Maka. I am looking for a new partner." With that he turned his gaze back towards the TV screen.
I started to feel the tears forming at the ends of my eyes. I asked with a sneered tone, "But why, Soul? Why are you looking for a new partner?"
"I don't know..."
"What are you talking about 'you don't know?" My tone was growing venomous. "You said it yourself; cool guys never cheat on their partners!"
"Well, I've found lately, that my partner just isn't cool enough. I need someone who can really make me into a Death Scythe..."

"Hello Maka? Are you there?" My cousin asked on the other side of the phone; she sounded like she just woke up.
"Yes, I am here."
"What do you need? Do you know what time it is here?"
"Oh I'm sorry did I wake you?"
"Yes you did, do you need something?" She asked yawn into the phone.
"I was wounding if I could move in with you?"
"Yes, I have a spare room you can stay with me, but why do you want to live with me? Don't you have your own place in Death city?" For the second time today I explained everything that happen to me this past year. For a while Nikki didn't say anything, all I could hear was her soft breathing into the phone. I thought that she had fallen asleep.
Finally she said something. "Do you want me to kill someone? Because if you do I will, all you have to do is say the world."
I couldn't help it but I laughed and she laughed to. Nikki had always been one to stand up for people when no one else will. "No I don't need you to kill anyone Nikki"
"Maka you can come over whenever you like just tell me when so I can pick you up from the airport."
"Thank you so much Nikki I'm going to get a plane ticket as soon as I can."
"Ok, is it ok if I go back to bed now?"
"Yes, bye Nikki. Thank you letting me live with you."
"Bye, it's no problem. That what family for." I hit the end call button and with click the call ended. I put the phone back into it holder.

I walked straight into the Death Room, Lord Death was surprised to see me there.
"Maka what is your reason for coming here today?"
"I wanted to tell you that I am dropping out of the DWMA."
"Why are you dropping out? Your one of our best misters here."
"I know Lord Death but as you know my partner Soul Eater has recently got a new mister and because it's the middle of the year there are not many other free weapons in the school."
"Are you sure you wish to leave Maka?"
"Yes, I am sure. I will be leaving town tomorrow."
"Where will you be going?"
"To a relative house. Now if you don't mind I must be going, have a good day Lord death." I bowed and left before he could say anything.

Oh yeah that how I ended up here. Everyone seems so nice here. I don't ever want to go back to Death City.
I rolled over in my bed, onto my side. I started to think of all the things that have happen to me over the past week. How many times I cried and how many times I wish I was someone else?
I was so stupid back then. Why did I ever wish I was someone else?
Ever since I got here everyone is so nice to me and taught me to love who I am and that what I am going to do. I am going to love the way I look from now on.
I looked around my room. I have my all of thing unpack. All of my books where on the two white bookshelves. All of my clothes were put away in the dresser. The rest of my things were put a way in a certain spot. My walls are still blank, I am hoping a will find something I like to put on my walls.
"I win! You lose! Now pay up!" I heard a boy yell. It sounds like Alex.
"You did not win! I won the game! So you pay up!" Another boy yelled. It sounded like seven voice.
"You both loss, so just shut up!" Someone else said. I think this time it was Gage who said this.
I guess now I live with four boys and five girls, so there are ten of us living in the same house. Now I know what you must be thinking, four teen boys living with five teen girls. What happen in this house? Nothing bad happens. Well it depends on what you think is bad, there no sex I know that. If any boy tried to do anything, it would fail in the end. So yeah this is my new home and I love it with all of my heart.
I heard a knock at the door. I turn to my side and look at the door. "Come on in!" I yelled.
The door open and Katie came in my room. Katie was wearing a blue and white T-shirt and jeans. She was caring a big brown box. Katie had blue jeans and pink T-shirt. Her brown hair was up in a pony-tail. "Hey, there sleepy head. I have something for you."
I got up from my bed and made my bed. I was still my pajamas and my hair was still a mess. "What is it?" I asked.
"We notice that you did not have a charge for your new phone." That was true I had no way to charge my phone. "So this is a charger, CD player, and this can play your iTunes from your phone." Katie said putting the box on my bed. "It was Alexis but when she got her new phone this no longer worked on her new phone."
"Oh my god! Thank you!" I said hugging her and Katie just simile and hugged me back. "Where should I put it?"
Katie looked over to my bookshelf in the corner. The top of the shelf had nothing on it. Shelf was right next to a plug so we could plug it in.
"We should put it right there!" Katie said pointing to the bookshelf. "We could put it right there."
"Yeah I like that idea."
We open the box and put the charger/CD player thing (what are they called?) on the top of the shelf.
"That is mine. Leave it alone!" Seven yelled from downstairs
"What are the boys yelling about?" I asked Katie.
"The boys are playing a video game. Then they started to fight about who won at the end. And I bet they are fighting over the prize."
"What is the prize?" I asked.
"I don't know what the prize is. I probably don't want to know." Katie said.
"Give me the cookie!" One of the boys yelled.
"Looks like they are fighting over a cookie." I said. Really? Why are they fighting for a cookie? I could make a lot for them.
"Yeah. They are so stupid."
"Most boys are stupid."
"Yeah. If you don't need any thing I will be going." Katie said.
"Ok," I said. Katie walk out of my room and started to close the door. But then Katie stop and looked at me.
"Oh one more thing. The girls want to take you out shopping."
"Ok that sounds fun," I said.
With that Katie left me to get ready for going out shopping.
I walked over to her bookshelf and put her new phone on the music port.
I asked if Nikki could put some music on her phone. Nikki put over 200 songs on my phone. For some reason I likes the bands that Nikki likes.
Normally I did not like music (Soul would try to get her to like music all the time) but I like the bands that Nikki and her friends are into.
Anyway I hit play and a random song came on. It was 'Live your life' by T.I. "I did not know Nikki liked this song. Look like I leaned something new every day." I said with a little giggle.
I walked over to her dresser and got ready to go shopping with the girls. I pulled out and put on a black T-shirt that had a heart on it and blue jeans. As for shoe I choose to wear boots. I did not have many clothes besides the ones I would wear at the DWMA.
When I was done getting ready for shopping, I turned off the music and went down stairs.
I saw Seven (he had on a Halo shirt and shorts) and Alex (a black shirt with a white cross on it and black jeans) where on the floor fighting over the last cookie in the box. They were yelling at each other. I looked over to Gage (he has Assassin's Creed shirt and jeans) and Jack (had on blue PJs). They were sitting at the table watching Seven and Alex fight over the last cookie. Katie and Maddie (dark green shirt with a black tie and jeans) were cooking breakfast, they were making eggs and pancakes.
"Hey I see you are up." Maddy said.
"Yeah, do you need any help with breakfast?" I said.
"No we are almost done with breakfast." Katie said.
"Ok, well if you need anything you just have to tell me." I looked behind them and saw a stairwell in the right hand corner of the kitchen. I did not see that when I first came here.
"Where does that stairwell go to?" Maka said pointing to the stairwell.
"Oh that goes up stairs but it is very unsafe so we do not use it. People get hurt when they go up or down them." Katie said.
"I don't know the whole story but this house was really rundown." Maddie said.
"Yeah, a friend of Nikki's mom who lived next door most of her life so she knew everyone who lived in here. There was little old lady that lived here but was really old so she couldn't keep up with the maintenance. After that a family moved in and they up dated the house a little. But they here never took care of the house after the kids moved out. So the house was rundown and unsafe when Nikki bought it." Katie said.
"But when Nikki and her mom came over to pick up her mom friend to go shopping. Nikki saw the house and wanted to buy it. But keep this in mind the house was worth over one million dollars when it was first made but when Nikki looked at the house it was worth nothing over two hundred." Maddie said.
"But Nikki bought the house and her, family, and friends work on the house to make it like this to day." Katie said looking around. "I think there are some picture of the house when they were working on it somewhere."
"While Nikki was working on it she called us and asked if we would like to live with her. We said yes and she asked was we would like are rooms would like. We all put are ideas in and this is how it came out." Maddie said.
"To make long story sort Nikki hasn't l work on that stairwell yet. Even though it looks nice inside the house Nikki is still fixing the house." Katie said
"Wow she really must like this house." I said looking down. I did not know this house had a lot of worked put in it.
"Yeah, it cost a lot to make this way so everyone who lives here has a job to pay the bills." Katie said
"So do I have to get a job?" Maka asked. While we were talking Alex and Seven where still fighting over the cookie. They were rolling around the floor and yelling at each other.
Katie nodded, "You don't have to get one right way but eventually. Hey if you get a job you can buy whatever you want." Katie said. Katie looked over where Alex and Seven where fighting.
"Ow!" Seven yelled while Alex bit him in the arm. He bit him because of a cookie. What is wrong with them?
"Alex! Seven! Stop that now!" Katie said yelling at the boy for fighting. "Maddie can you break them up?" Katie asked Maddie.
"Yeah," Maddie walked over to the boys and tried to break them up.
While all of this was happening, Alex's brother Jack was sitting at the table watching everything that was happening. I walked over to Jack and sat right in front of him. "Should you be helping Maddie?" I asked him.
"Why should I help?" He asked looking at me.
"Because that your brother down there!" I said looking at him.
"Oh. Yeah the last time they did this I tried to help but the only people who can make them stop is Nikki and sometimes Maddie if she in a bad mood." said Jack. I gave him a look and he looked at me back the looked at Gage who was next to him.
"Yeah only Nikki can scare them." Gage said
"Ok," I said watching Alex and Seven fight while Maddie was trying really hard to break them up.
Sometime had pass after that, breakfast was done and Katie was sating the table with the help of Jack and Gage. Maddie had given up on stopping Alex and Seven fighting and was sitting on the couch. The thing that Alex and Seven where fighting over was sitting on a plate on a small table next to the couch. So any one could eat it! I wish someone would just eat it already so this fighting would end.
I looked over to the boys (that where fighting) then looked over to Katie, Jack, and Gage. They just look at me back and shocked there head.
"Hey Maka can you get Tori, Alexis, and Nikki down for breakfast. All the names are on the badroom door so you should have no trouble finding them." Gage asked me.
"Ok, I will." I got up from where I was sitting and walk upstairs.
The first room on the left was my room (my door did not have my name on it) and on the right was a bathroom. Next to my room (on the left) was Maddie's room (her name was green with a cross next to it). Across the hall was Kate's room (her name was painted pink with flowers next to it). Next to Katie's room was a bathroom and next to Maddie's room was Tori's room.
Tori's name was panted black with a skull next her name. I stopped outside her door and knocked on the door. The door opened to show a very tired Tori, she was still in her PJs. The PJs where black and white.
Tori walls where all black and her bed was blood-red (her bed was pushed against the wall across the door). The curtain in front of the window (the window was at the end of the bed) was same color as the bed. At the end of the bed was a dark brown (almost black) bookshelf next to the window. Next to Tori's bedroom door was a closet that was a very dark red. Next to the closet was a dresser that was the same dark brown as the bookshelf.
"Um breakfast is ready." I said looking at Tori's room. She really did loves dark colors.
"Ok," Tori said in a sleepy voice. Tori sated to walk down the hall way to go down stairs. I walk across the hall to Alexis's room. Alexis name was a bright blue with a chibi cat next to it. I knocked on the door and someone yelled. "Come in!" So I open the door to see Alexis (she was dressed, she had on a 'life is good' T-shirt and blue jeans) sitting on a chair in the corn of the room like the first time I meet her.
Her walls where panted hot pink with bright blue lines going down the wall. Right in front of the door was the end of Alexis's bed. Alexis's bed was a bright purple with a white had bored. Next to the bed was a white desk and a whit chair. Next to that was the chair that Alexis's was sitting in. The chair was hot pink and cut like a circle with two metal rods as the feet. Her dresser and closet where white.
"Hey," Alexis said looking up at me.
"Hey breakfast is ready."
"Ok, I will be down in a minuet." Alexis got up from her chair and walk out of her room. I left her door way and headed to down next to Nikki's room.
Nikki's room was next to Alexi's room and next to Tori's room is another bathroom. (I know there is a lot of Bathroom but these rooms are big and the wall between the bedrooms and bathrooms doors are like a mile long. I know that it's not really a mile, but that what it seems like they are a mile long.)
Nikki's room was wired and crazy like her. Nikki's name is panted red and black with the words panted all over the door. 'BOTDF, Chobits, Murder princess, Vampire Night, and Sailor Moon, where just a few of the words that where panted on the door.
I walked up to Nikki's door and knocked on it. "Yeah, come in!" Nikki yelled. I opened the door and walked into Nikki's room.
Nikki's walls where all white with hand panted pictures on them. Nikki's bed was black and red and Nikki's bookshelf where panted a dark blue and dark pink. Nikki's closet door was white with more words all over it. Nikki's window was right across form Nikki's bed and right under the window was a little reading area with pillows all over the floor. Nikki had junk all over the place. Nikki was sitting in her little reading area, reading a book called 'Vampire Kisses'.
Nikki had on a black and red T-shirt and jeans. Nikki looked up from her book and looked over to me. "Hey what up Maka?"
"Breakfast is ready."
"Ok," Nikki got up and walked over to the door. Nikki and I walked down stairs.
When we got down stairs Alex and Seven where still fighting over the cookie. Nikki walked over to the plate where the cookie was. Nikki picked up the cookie and eat it. Alex and Seven stop fighting and looked up at Nikki.
"You eat my cookie!" Alex and Seven said at the same time.
"What your cookie? That was my cookie!" They yelled again at the same time.
"Would you to stop fighting. It is eight in the morning and I should not be listening to you fighting!" Nikki said.
"Ok," They said looking down going quit. Gage and Jack where right about Nikki being the only one that could shut them up.
"Any way breakfast is ready let's eat!" Nikki said walking over to the table.
When everyone was sitting at the table, we started to eat. For breakfast we eat pancakes, eggs and bacon. While everyone was eating they were talking to each other. "So Maka what do think of living here so far?" Alex said. When he said this everyone stopped talking and looked at me.
"I love it here. Everyone is so nice to me and make me feel welcome." I said.
"You have not meet every one yet." Alexis said.
"Yeah we have a lot of friends that don't live here with us but you can meet them at school." Katie said.
"You will meet everyone at school." Maddie said.
"What day is today?" Jack asked.
"Today is Saturday Jack." Nikki said looking at Jack like he was stupid. (I thought it was kind of cute honestly.)
"So that means Maka will be going to school on Monday." Jack said.
"Maka are you ready to go shopping today?" Tori asked
"Yeah. I've never gone to mall with friends before." I said.
"Did anyone tell you what we are doing after we go shopping?" Maddie asked looking at me.
"No, why."
"Nikki, Tori and a girl named Sierra, she one of our friend, are going to an Icon for Hire concert. Everyone else is going to hang out here and watch a movie or something." Maddie said
"You could come to the concert with us or you can stay with here if you like." Nikki said.
"You will love this band Maka." Tori said.
"Yeah ok I never been to a concert before." I said.
After that everyone finish breakfast and Tori went upstairs to get ready for shopping. When everyone was ready to go we got into the car. Nikki was sitting in the driver sheet, Tori sat in the passenger sheet. Katie and I sat in the back of Nikki's truck. Maddie and Alexis where taking another car to the mall.
When we got in the car Nikki's plugged in her phone. Nikki's ITunes started to play though out the car but you could not hear it over the people talking in the car.
When we go in to the mall and got out of the car. "So where are we going?" I asked
"We are going to most of the shops in the mall." Maddie said.
We all walked in to the mall and walked to the one store I never thought I would go.
Hey there people. What is the store that Maka went to? You will find out in the next chapter. I am sorry this chapter is boring. I promise the next chapter will be better.
