Maka's POV
When we enter the mall the first store we went to was Hot Topic. A year ago I would have never been to a store like Hot Topic (maybe it was the good girl side of me). Sure we had a Hot Topic in death city but hardly ever went shopping to the mall. The only time I went shopping was when Liz dragged me on one of her shopping sprees.
But that year ago, this is now had a lot of things change sense then.
We all walked into Hot Topic and started to look around, trying to find what we like. There were all kinds of shirts in here, they had everything form a Blood On the Dance Floor, to Panic! At the Disco. They had dress, shirts, skirts, earrings, neckless, gloves, hats and belts. They had every type of fandoms you can think of. There were rubber bands with band names and there were some that had characters from TV shows like Adventure time, Ouran High school host club, Chobits, and Fairy Tail. There were even some rubber bands had a video games logo on it. There were all kinds of size; there were big and small. There were gothic style dresses and other gothic style clothing. There was blue, pink, green, and red hair dye. There were a lot of black makeup and piercings throughout the store.
They had something here for everyone, even for me. I was walking around the store not really looking for anything in-particular. Nikki was looking at a Bad Blood shirt, Maddie was looking at a Fruits Baskets shirt, Tori was looking at the black makeup, and Katie was talking to Alexis who were both standing by the door. I walked over to where the jewelry was on display. There was a black chain necklace with a silver cross on it; it was really pretty. The necklace only cost five dollars, which looks really cheap for a necklace at this place.
I looked around and saw ten dollars on the ground. I looked up to see if anyone was missing the money. No one seemed to be missing the ten dollars so I pick it up. I grab the necklace and walked over to the cash register in the corner of the store. The person working at the cash register had blue hair (almost like Black Stair's but darker and less spiky) and was wearing a black sundress. "Did anyone help you?" She asked me.
"No," I laid down the necklace and the money on the counter.
"Would you like a Hot Topic card?" The woman asked me.
"No thank you." I don't know how many times I will shop here so there is no point to getting one.
When the woman was done with the transaction, she put my things in a bag and handed it to me. I grabbed the bag and walked over to where Katie and Alexis were.
Soon everyone was finish getting what they want we left the store.
"What did everyone get?" Katie asked.
"I got an Ouran high school host club shirt." Tori said holding up the bag with the shirt in it.
"I got a Bad Blood T-shirt and a Black Butler T-shirt." Nikki said pulling parts of her shirt out of the bag.
"I got a shirt with a person on it that had a moose head in a picture frame." Maddie said.
"What did you get Maka?"
"I got a cross necklace." Showing them the necklace I bought.
"Cool, let's go to another store!" Alexis yelled and jump up.
We walked down to the Macy's on the first floor. Everyone went over to where the teen's clothes were. To get there we had to pass the men's, the little kids and the women's department.
"Why is are teens department always in the back of the store?" Tori asked acting like she was out of breath.
"I don't know. It's like they are trying to kill us." Alexis said.
"Stop complaining and get going. We will never get there if you keep walking like that." Nikki said.
Finally we got the teen's department where we all split it up once again. Everyone walked around the teen's department grabbing clothes putting them onto their body seeing if they were too short or too long. When they finish looking around they grabbed the clothes they liked and walked over to the women's changing room to try them on. I was the last one to finish looking at the clothes (I only picked out six shirts and jeans). I walked over to where everyone was waiting.
"Ok let try on some clothes!" Katie yelled.
The changing room was white with blue panted swirls over the wall. There was five changing rooms total and in the middle of the room were white round couches. They were playing music on some speakers that where in the ceiling. Everyone sat on one of the couches and looked tough their clothes that they picked out.
"All right lets started trying on some clothes!" Alexis said punching the air.
"Um are we even going to buy all of these clothes?" I asked everyone started laughing at what I said. "Did I say anything funny?" Soon as the laughing started it slow down until it stopped completely.
"We are sorry for laughing but it was just too funny." Tori said wiping tears out of her eyes. Was I missing something? I don't remember saying anything funny.
"We are not going to buy all of these clothes. Have you ever gone shopping in Death City before?" Maddie said.
"Only when one of my old friends, Liz wanted to go on shopping sprees but…" I started to feel real sad thinking back on the past.
Nikki notice this, she walked behind me and put a hand on my shoulder. "Hey it ok, let's forget about the past. This was meant to be fun."
"Ok," I said looking up. "Let's have a good time at the mall."
"Who wants to go first?" Katie asked. Everyone looked around to see if anyone would like to go first.
"How about Maka goes first." Tori suggested.
"Do you guys minded if I go first?" I asked.
"I don't minded." Everyone said at the same time.
"Ok," I waked over to the changing room door. When I got in I locked the door and set the clothes down on a chair in the corner. I picked out a blue shirt and jeans the whole outfit looked really cute. On the back of the shirt draped down, showing off the skin on my back and on the front of it had a gold heart, with glitter on it. When I was finish I waked out of the changing room to show everyone my outfit.
Before I walked out everyone was talking but as soon as I came out; everyone stopped talking completely and looked at me. I did not know if this was good or bad.
"Maka you look so hot!" Tori said.
"Really? I look hot?" I asked looking down at myself.
"Yeah. If I was a boy I would date you." Alexis said with a little smirk.
"Thanks," I couldn't stop my self-form smiling.
"We are buying that outfit for you." Nikki said,
"But-" I was cut short.
"No buts. I am buying that outfit for you and that final." Nikki said putting her foot down.
"Ok, thank you." I gave her a big hug.
"Hey get back in there and try on some our other clothes." Maddie said.
"Ok," I walked back in the changing room and put on the next outfit.
I put on a pink top that said 'love me' in cursive and blue jeans with holes in them. I walked out of the changing room again. "How do I look?" I asked.
"You look beautiful Maka." Alexis said.
"I wonder what you would look like as a Goth." Tori said she rubbed her chin acting like she was in deep thought. Everyone looked at her, "What? I was just wondering." Everyone started laughing, I even joined in, at what Tori said.
Everyone was laughing so hard that I was not surprise when some lady came over and yelled at us. "Hey this is a store! If you want to be lowed go outside!" Some random woman yelled.
"Were sorry for being to load, we will stop now." Katie said trying to calm her down.
"Dame, Right you are!" The woman yelled again. Nikki walked up to the woman who yelled at us. Nikki was clearly pissed off.
"You have no right to tell us what to do! You are being as load as us right now! Mind your own God dame business, you old hag!"
"How dare you! I am not that old, I am only 45 years old!"
"I'm sorry you are right. You are not an old hag. No; you are bag made of bones and old dry skin!"
"What-" The woman was cut short when the manager of the store came over.
"Miss, can you please stop yelling in here and leave?" The manager put a hand on her shoulder.
"I am not the one that is being loud! It's those monsters!" The woman said pointing at us.
"They are teenagers not monster. Now can you please leave before I call the (mall) cops."
The woman bite her lip she knew that she could not win this fight. The woman left the changing room but the manager still stayed even though the woman left.
"An old hag?" Maddie asked.
"A bag made out of bones and old dry skin?" Alexis asked.
"What? The woman made me mad. What would you have called her? Also Katie you are way too nice to people like that." She said picking up her clothes.
After everyone tried on their clothes and put on a show, we went to check out. Nikki bought my clothes for me even thought I told her not to. After everyone checked out we left the store to look for a new outlet.
When we walked out of Macy's, we had a lot of bags. Nikki bought seven shirts and ten pairs of pants. Katie bought four dress, six pairs of shows, and eight earrings. Trio bought five black belt and a new pair of sneakers. Alexis bought four shirts, six pants, and two shorts. Maddie got nothing and Nikki bought me three shirts, tow pants and one skirt.
When we were done at Macy's we went to get are nails done. "What kind of color are you getting your nails done?" Katie asked Trio.
"Um... Black. What else? What about you?"
"I am getting them panted pink!" Katie said. "What about you Maka?"
"I don't know."
We got to the nail salon; we all separated. They woman who panted my nails was really nice. She had very long light blond hair and bright blue eyes. She was about five foot and very skinny. The girl name was Jenny. "Hey, I will be panting your nails today." Jenny said leading me to a table. "What kind of colors would you like Ma'am?" She handed me all kinds of colors of nail polish. I picked out a red and white.
While she was panting my nails; we talked about life, I didn't say much. She did most of the talking, which was fine with me. Jenny was so nice to me. I kind of felt welcomed and liked. I had not felt this way in long time because of him [1] and what they [2] did.
When everyone was done at the salon; we all showed each other are nails.
Katie had got pink with white flowers panted on hers. Trio had here panted black with red, the red was panted on it to make it look like blood was running down her nails. Alexis got blue and green dots panted all over hers. Nikki each of her nails painted a different color. Maddie was the only one that did not get anything panted on hers.
After we were done with the nail salon, we shop some more. We went to Urban Rock, Forever 22, GAP (for Katie), Aeropostale and Sephora. We were each carrying 10 big bags of clothes, makeup, shoes, etc... In the big bags where even smaller bags.
When one o'clock came around you all hungry. We all went to the food court to get something to eat. "What is school like?" I asked while taking a bite of my sandwich from Subway.
"It's like any other high school." Katie said.
"Yeah you got your popular people who get everything they want and you got nerds, geeks, Goth, Emos, outcast, we even have band geeks." Nikki said
"The teachers are nice though." Trio said.
"Really even Miss Williams? I thought you said she was evil and that you want to kill her most of the time?" Alexis said.
Nikki raised her hand. "I second that motion!"
"Hey be nice!" Katie said hitting Nikki light on the arm.
Nikki looked at Katie like she was hurt. "What? I hate her. She suck a bitch"
"So what other friends do you guys have?" I asked.
"Well there is Sierra; you're going to meet her tonight, Tori's sister Rose and Rose's boyfriend Bryson."
"Maka have you ever thought about dying your hair?" Maddie asked.
"Actually I have but I don't know what kind of color I should dye it."
"I think light pink or light blue might look good in your hair." Alexis said.
"I can see that!" Tori said. "You don't have to get it dyed but I think it would look nice."
"I would like to dye my hair."
"Cool there is a hair salon here so after were done eating we can." Nikki said.
"Ok. That sounds fun."
Everything was fine until out of the corner of my eye I saw a girl in the corner of the food court. The girls have long blonde hair. She had on a white tank top, black skirt, six-inch stilettos and blue purse. She was staring at us (more at Nikki). I was not listening to anything in till I heard a 'I hate her'!
"Who do you hate?"
"Oh, some girl." Nikki said.
"What does she look like?"
"As long brown hair and always wears skimpy outfit." My eyes immediately looked at the girl in the corner of the food court. "She gets on my nerves!" I looked back at the girl on the corner so you know longer there and she was heading straight to are table.
"What her name?"
"Becky," look at the girl who was coming over to are table. Could that be Becky?
"Does she hate you to?"
"Yes I do all kinds of evil things to her so it would be weird if she didn't hate me."
The girls getting closer now. If she was Becky she would probably cause some problems. The girls finally got your table and slap her hand right in front of Nikki. The girl turned her head and stared right at Nikki. "Hey,"
Hey guy! I am back! And I have updated 'New life'. Had lots of free time today so I thought I would've updates one my stories so here you go a new chapter for 'New life'.
Sorry I'm updated a long time I've been busy I will update my story soon. Hopefully I will be able to update 'Raven wood' and another chapter of 'New life' soon.
