Although I've promised, I'm really sorry to say but I don't think I can ever finish AOW. I hate breaking promises but no matter how much I try, I can't force myself to continue this. My writing style has changed since the last chapter I've published, university is taking up so much of my time, and I have unfortunately, lost interest in The Hunger Games.

However, I can't leave you all hanging. You've done so much by supporting me. Your comments (even if it just says, "UPDATEEEEE!") are proof that people actually read what I write, that they like it enough to want to know more, and it makes me so happy because I've been questioning (and at several times, hating) my writing since I've started and completed UTW. In fact, being in university and doing Creative Writing has me questioning and hating my writing more often now. I don't want that to contaminate the joy and love I have long associated fanfiction with as well.

I've not completed the outline for the rest of AOW, but I think I've come up with enough that the rest of you can imagine how this story ends and such. Thank you all so much for your support, love, reads and comments (yes, that includes your critiques too!). One day, I might come back and put flesh on the bones of this plot. One day.

PLOT

69th Hunger Games

· Cordelia is thirteen, Arlen is sixteen. Both Arva and Finnick are eighteen.

· Arva's first time mentoring, Leith respects her but Arethousa hates her.

· Both tributes are exceptional and while they're at the arena, Arva and Finnick attend social parties to let the idea of them as a couple sink in.

· During the second or third social gathering, Andri is there. She recruits Arva into the rebels.

· Ethon and the other ghosts become more open with Arva. Some reveal they still haunt her, why some have yet to appear and why a few have 'vanished'.

· The dead District Nine girl reveals her name ("Tyne") and that her family had been relieved at her being selected as a tribute. The reason why mattered not to her because she had been pained by their expressions all the same, thus resenting them yet also holding onto a glimmer of hope that she's mistaken. Arva works to help Tyne to rest in peace—by explaining and conveying messages from Tyne's family.

· Arva later learns of the deal between President Snow, Marceline and Finnick, along with Finnick's job as a courtesan—a fact she couldn't believe but accepts without questioning. This shows her great trust and love in Finnick, relieving the man from his worries regarding that matter.

· The idea of Arvick (Arva+Finnick) steadily gains favor but noticing how 'easy' it seemed, President Snow orders both Leith and Arethousa to be killed when they were among the ones in the Top Eight.

· Arva is devastated and locks herself away. Finnick desperately tries to console her only for it to be in vain, so he turns to the younger two of the Morwenna siblings. He learns from Cordi (who had learned from Wiley) that Arethousa had been in love with Atl, hence why Arethousa had disliked Arva so greatly because she viewed the latter as the boy's killer. At Arva's demand, he tells her this and she grieves, but when she realizes that their tributes' deaths had been done on purpose, she becomes angered. Thus, also becoming more determined to serve the rebels as well.

70th Hunger Games

· Cordelia is fourteen, Arlen is seventeen. Both Arva and Finnick are nineteen.

· Marceline is no longer Head Game Maker.

· Cordi and Wiley grow closer.

· Arvick mentors Annie Cresta and Noah Walker, though Arva is more terrified of growing close to the tributes than being concentrated on helping them. She doesn't want a repeat of Arethousa and Leith.

· Arva notices a spark between Finnick and Annie so she grows more distant around him in fear that he would ignore the deal and dump her, leaving Finnick puzzled. (Before the Annie and Noah leave for the arena, Finnick also leaves without telling Arva where he will be going. She suspects that he's out with Annie who coincidentally isn't around as well.) [In truth, Finnick went out to get a ring, while Annie is freaking out at the rooftop].

· More Ila X Haymitch! (Platonic? Romantic?)

· Arva confronts the other ghosts and helps them, some comfort her in her moments of returning insanity. One by one, they leave/find peace, though only Ethon refuses to reveal the thing that ties him to earth as a ghost. Ethon and Arva become friends and in some ways, he soothes and tames the monster that is her madness, in place of Finnick who Arva has pushed away.

· Finnick soon realizes what's wrong with the help of "ever-insightful" Ila and surprisingly, Elodea. He confronts Arva to reassure her that she's his only one true love. He also shows her the ring and proposes.

· Arva accepts (of course) but their moment is ruined because Noah dies in the arena and Annie is going insane. Genuinely concerned this time, Arva watches Annie who later becomes a victor.

· Andri and Marceline plot behind the scenes. Mags joins the rebels. Elodea finds out about the rebels and although reluctant at first, she listens to Andri and decides to be a double agent as well for she and Arva and Finnick have become close friends. (Maybe reveal that Juliet is also helping the rebels? Cause she's Andri's lover.)

· Annie and Arva bond during Annie's Victory Tour since Annie can see and hear her ghosts—much like Arva still does so Arva helps her in that department, hoping in some ways that it can remedy her unjust jealousy and her lack of assistance in preparing Annie and Noah as tributes.

· (Somewhere in between these two moments, Ethon congratulates Arva on her engagement like the asshole he is, but he's truly happy for her. This is the last time Arva sees him during this Game.)

· Annie notices Arvick's matching rings (Arva wears her on a chain so she can hide it, Finnick wears it on his right hand as though it is a common ring). She admits that she has feelings for Finnick but because she greatly respects Arva, she would let the feelings die. Arva, who has become less insecure regarding Arvick, accepts this fact and hugs Annie in reply (a show of friendship? Trust?)

· When it's time for Annie to take Arva's place as mentor, Annie freaks out so Arva assures her that she wouldn't need to return to the Capitol ever again since Arva will not step down.

71st Hunger Games

· Cordelia is fifteen, Arlen is eighteen. Both Arva and Finnick are twenty.

· Cordi is re-selected but fortune shines on her once more when someone else volunteers in her stead. This person is Rowena (13) who wants to continue bringing pride to her District.

· Before Elodea reads the male tribute's name, another kid volunteers (Caleb, he had a bet with Rowena to see who would win). Devastated about the kids, yet undeniably relieved that Cordi isn't in the games, Arvick mentors the hard-headed Rowena and foolish Caleb.

· The children die during the blood bath, leaving an upset Arva in Finnick's solace.

· Ethon, the only remaining ghost, also comforts Arva when they meet again through mirrors. Though, he also reminds Arva that she isn't the only one whose soul dies part by part with each dead tribute Arva, who realizes that she has always depended on Finnick but hasn't let him properly confide in her. She goes looking for him and they have a full heart-to-heart involving a bunch of waterworks from both sides.

· Magically, President Snow (eyes and ears everywhere) finds out about Arvick's engagement and pressures them to hold their wedding early because his granddaughter is eager to see Arvick marry, saying it's the most romantic love story of the ages. Of course, Arvick makes excuses, saying things like they don't want to outshine the Games and the tributes and all with their wedding yet, so they'll hold plans off until the end of the 71st Victor's Victory Tour.

· Victor Johanna Mason reminds Arva of Ila so all three of them become fast friends. This is easier for Arva since Johanna didn't kill her mentees.

· Wedding plans begin because President Snow is wrapped around his granddaughter's pinky.

· Andri updates Arvick on the rebels' status, informing them that District 13 is returning. Additionally, she (Juliet too, in extension, obviously) offers to make Arvick's wedding attires, which Arvick agrees.

· ?

Again, thank you so much!
